Toddler:Dulcea Toddler to Child sheet- Liang's hair has continued to grow, but she keeps it in about the same style, with silver sticks to match her new set of outfits. - She switches between her wooden fan and the fan Teagan gave her, more often the second. - A lot of the time she now wears one of her new cheongsams, a light purple one with matching slippers to suit her fan. She's gained a bit of confidence from her time with her brother, but she still remains reserved, a bit stuck up, and well mannered. From her writing practice she has developed an interest in calligraphy.

...Asahi Kumoru Child-->Preteen:- Special Skill Learned x- Egg Facts x- 4 out of 4 PD x x x x- Vaccinations x- Journal entry-Parent x- Journal entry-Child x- Choice xThe return envelope from the Asahi household has Donat's form fully filed out, as well as a letter from his father.  Donat has been maturing quite nicely. I still worry that he does not seem to be afraid of anything (this includes things he should be afraid of), but it does still fill me with a touch of pride to see him doing things like scaling the outside of the D-corp building, thirty stories straight up, without so much as batting an eyelash. He got his shots without any fuss at all, but I've been thinking I may need to take him in to the doctor again sometime soon. Donat walks upright now rather than wanting to crawl all the time, but doing a lot of walking or climbing seems to start to hurt his back. He starts to lean forward gradually, and has to ask to take breaks. I think he is kind of embarrassed about it. He tries his best not to let it get to him, though; he still plays outside just as much as he always did, and gets himself just as dirty. I think his entire wardrobe consists of second-hand pants, which give him a head-start at wearing through the knees, and shirts in greens and browns. The little goat's horns are still the same size they have been; I think they are done growing. Donat's spots are getting a little bolder around the edges, though, and his hair has grown out somewhat since I last cut it. It is down a little past his shoulders now; I think I will tie it back into a low ponytail for him so it will not get in his way. He asked me not to cut it; I think he likes my hair, and wants to grow it out to my length. His fingers are getting really strong to make up for his lack of thumbs, and while he cannot write very neatly, he is getting better. Vaccinations [x]  Etain's got a system down: looking at people's feet. He's become a touch shy and a little more wary about people until he's sure they're not going to make his skin crawl, so to speak. As such, he's a little less likely to go throwing himself into people's arms. Despite this, he's still rather friendly and outgoing so long as his acquaintences fall into the comfort level of his virginitis. Otherwise he developed a bit of an awkward flight mechanism, preferring to take off rather than stick it out - particularly because now that he's big enough to not have Tovar hanging on to his hands anymore, he has a better ability to take off before Tovar can snatch him and make him stay put. He has a pet goldfish named Goldy, though is somewhat wary of his dragon hatching. The idea of an egg was quite novel and entertaining, but having a lizard half his size hanging around makes Etain more than a little nervous. He actually may end up being a little nervous around his newly hatched 'comrade.'
Etain's hair is pretty much the same length overall, though it seems that his hairline is starting to track down the back of his neck a bit giving him the slight quality of a short fuzzy horse-like mane. Thus far it hasn't tracked down too far and stops at the base of his neck, though it looks like it might track down farther as he gets older. He's slicked off some of that tooth rotting cuteness and is getting a little longer and thinner in the face, though not necessarily by much. He's also taken to wearing a pair of green coveralls with the sleeves pushed up and the front half undone (with t-shirts of varying colors, thanks). There's a large path (can be heart shaped or flower shaped or whatever you like xD) on one leg. Lastly, he's moved on from jelly sandles to light up purple tennis. He still has his respective heart charm jewelery.

Alaqua// Nikiana Name: Alaqua (Native American for ?Sweet Gum Tree? ^^? Niki is obsessed with her Native American background and since Koalas eat the leaves of gum trees...) Gender: Female Animal: Koala Hairstyle: Short, shaggy, kinda choppy. Two longer sections right in front of the ear, clipped back with little leaf shaped barettes. Hair Color: Grey-ish, darker than her fur, possibly tipped in lighter grey or white Skin color: Light gray color, usual koala fur hues Clothing: ^^? I was hoping to get her in maybe some little shortalls (overalls with shorts instead of pants)... since she's into climbing so much... Personality: Very quiet and shy. She clings to her mother obsessively, apparently getting it from her animal DNA. She is almost always found on Nikiana's back or stomach, most of the time sleeping. Niki has a hard time prying her off, trying to teach the child to walk and sleep in the hammock she rigged up for the girl. Alaqua hates being set on the ground and will not move once placed there. She will just lift her arms up, a silent demand to be picked up. If Niki ignores that, Alaqua starts to whine, then fuss, then all out scream until Niki picks her up again or Alaqua wears herself out. It's a battle to see if Niki will lose her hearing first or if Alaqua will actually learn to stay on the ground for more than a second. Markings: The ear tufts, I guess... nothing really... but the ear tufts are cute. ^.^ Oh! And the nose, of course. Anyways, I took her shopping the other day for some new clothing, seeing how she's about outgrown everything I have for her. I let her pick out her outfit (not sure if that's the brightest idea I've ever had) and she picked out a lot of green clothing. She now wears green capris or shorts with a slightly baggy t-shirt or tank top, tied with a green scarf like a sort of sash. The scarf's a bit long and trails a bit, giving her a sort of 'tail'. I'm not sure if that's because of her new sibling or not....
Also, Ala got gum stuck in her hair the other day, so I had to cut a lot of it off to get the gum out. And... well... I'm not a hairdresser... and Ala wouldn't sit still.... But it's not that choppy or uneven.... from a distance...
As it's a bit difficult for Ala to wear shoes, she now wears two pairs of green gloves, one on her hands and the other on her feet. The fingertips of the gloves were cut off so that she can still use her claws for climbing.

Her hair has grown quite a bit since the last time you asked for a report. Which was lucky, considering how short it had been. Just recently, I finally convinced Ala to go to a hair salon to get an actual haircut. The ragged ends were becoming quite obvious. Luckily, she didn't put up too much of a fight, but was determined to get a certain hairstyle. I gave in, considering how it was actually kind of cute. Once again, Ala outgrew all of her clothes. I patched the knees (which were the worst) with some green fabric, but the ends are a bit frayed. As for tops, Alaqua likes to wear a loose green t-shirt with a darker green vest worn over it. She still hates shoes. I'm a bit worried about Ala, though, for she has been gaining a bit too much weight lately. Maybe it's just her koala DNA, for koalas aren't the skinnies of animals. Personality: Aysel is on average a fairly happy little girl. She's very affectionate and loves to give hugs or snuggle with someone, preferably Mommy but if she can't have her any older person will do. Aysel is usually quiet and not prone to loud noises or excessive motion, 'reading' a book will keep her occupied.

Luna Moths are huge moths, with a wingspan of four and a half inches. They have a white body, pinkish legs, and huge pale green wings. The hindwings have eyespots and long tails. They have three distinct stages in life, catapiller, cacoon, luna moth!
Luna moths have several natural predators including owls, certain beetles (they eat the catapillers), and the bald faced hornet.Luna moths are wild silk worms, their cacoons can be unraveled and eventually woven in to silk. Adult luna moth's live about a week, mainly because they don't eat at all. They live only to mate, and produce about 100-200 eggs. Depending on climate there can be several generations in a year. Female adult luna moths use a pheromone system for mating. They release a scent and males will follow it to the female. They aren't too picky about who they mate with. The females will mate with the first male they find.

As per your request here is an update concerning Aysel ****** (Actais Luna). Aysel is a wonderful child and I can not honestly say I have any problems with her. She is, mostly, obedient, cheerful, quiet and affectionate. She has her moments of stubborn defiance but most toddlers are far worse about "No" than she is. Ever since she started learning words she's been most insistent on learning how to read. She's displayed a rare streak of independence in this, not wanting my help.
Aysel does not stay upset very long, and it never lasts longer than a nap. She's also very affectionate and clingy, greeting her teacher and classmates with hugs every day and leaving them with the same. She also loves to snuggle with me and her dollies.
As for the physical changes, not much has occured beyond the natural growth. Her hair has gotten longer and though I've kept it neatly trimmed, its now too long to keep pulled out of her face. To keep it out of her face we part it in the middle and pin the long backs back away from her face.
She's long since outgrown the jumper she came in, and it has been replaced with a red short-sleeved patterned culotte*. Aysel perfers to go barefoot, what child doesn't, but she's content to wear sock and shoes as long at the shoes aren't lace up.
I am however, a little concerned. Lately I've been finding short brownish grey fibers in her bed. They almost remind me of a rough silk. There's not a lot and it's never all at once, but I am concerned. I'm not sure what to expect.

OOC: I'm not entirely sure what you have planned for Aysel in terms of the caccon stage. I put the last part in case she was going to caccoon herself up for her child years. If that's the next stage I do have a few question on how that will work. I know you meantioned in the thread, somewhere, that it would be fairly skintight, kind of like a walking mummy (my own words). But if that's so, cacoon's are fairly delicate. Will it be tougher or she keeps spinning silk repairing it or would she simple have to be really careful? Assuming thats the next stage:
She'll wear really bright colors to sort of offset the drabness of the cacoon (her pretty skin went bye bye! gonk ) and probably start experimenting with makeup as well. You don't have to draw in the pattern on the culotte or whatever, artists choice. Just bright colors. (Possibly red to match her missing spots?)

*Refrence culotte: Own general drawing(I'm not sure if you've ever heard of these or not. I had one as a child and it was my favorite piece. Looked like a pretty dress but I didn't have to worry about the problems that come with skirts since it actually split into shorts. The only difference from the first would be short sleeves and no belt.

This was a rather unsettling stage for both of us. After some rough times, and a newfound sense of self-conciousness, Aysel's doing much better now. At times she can still be a little reserved about meeting people but knowing she's looking her best seems to help her deal with it. This has turned into an intense interest in fashion and asthetics. Her interests have also been slowly changing. She's been reading less and less, mostly books like the Babysitter'se Club. I'm a little worried on what she's learning about society from those, I don't want her to get preconcieved notions of how she should act. As far as the physical changes, Aysel's hair has grown even longer. It's now down to the bottom of her shoulder blades and is still as straight and fine as ever. She likes to keep it pulled back with either a clip or wide silk hairband. She refuses to go outside the house without looking her best. This usually consits of a skirt and blouse combination, pulled together with tights and shiney black shoes. Aysel's also found the joy of accessories, bangles, earrings, and necklaces. She usually has several braclets and bangles on each hand, a necklace or two and clip-on earrings.
