Orpheus looked much the harrowed father when he came into the clinic to get the shots for Ligeia. His new son Terpsichore was coiled around his throat, his arms wrapped around Orpheus's head just above his eyes so he could at least see and was looking around at everything that was to be seen. In the mans arms was Ligeia who was looking quite upset over the idea of having to get shots but it seemed that he couldn't get away.
Waiting at the doorway was Vorel who was told that he wasn't allowed to come in. Orpheus didn't want the doctor to get nipped if Ligeia were to start crying over the shots that he had to get.
"Hello." He greeted the lady, he'd shake her hand but he was sure Ligeia would bolt, "This is Ligeia." He said nodding towards the owl boy, "And Terpsichore, we call him Ter."
Ligeia gave a scree that sounded much to scared and Ter gave a hissu that was just him responding to his name since he was to busy trying to find something fun to get into to actually greet the lady. Luckily he was up to high to escape easily on his own.

Proper manners dictated that Madeline smile and greet the father of this boy as politely as she could. But, truth be told, the sight that greeted her as she opened the door didn't make her very happy. The scene all looked a bit too chaotic for her liking. The man with red hair didn't seem to really have good control over his children either. Then again, his children weren't making it easy for him. Slipping past the cover sheet in her folder Madeline flipped through the pages until she found Ligeia's sheet.
Patient Ligeia, she allready knew that...fathers name was Orpheus Solon--occupation, teacher at D-corp. Oh my. The fact that Mr. Solon was a teacher surprised her a bit, but she quickly shut her folder turning her attention to the trio that had walked in.
"Pleasure to meet you Mr. Solon." She didn't miss a beat when it came to names or introductions.
"Please have a seat," She motioned to a chair in the corner. "Now which one of them," her eyes darted to the two children "will I be seeing today?" The owl looked nervous. Hmn, best not to take chances on run away patients, which was why Madeline moved to lock the door once every one had become settled.

Orpheus sat Ligeia down and gave a sighing sound of relief, "That one. The one trying to flee from you." He said as he stretched his arms out to get the kinks out of them then looked up at Ter, "Though if you could give him a once over as well that would be nice. He was given over to my care not long ago without as much as an explanation of how he was cared for before he came to me."
He lifted his hands to unwind Terpsichore from around him then held him close.
Ligeia looked up at the woman a moment then down at his feet, "I don't... want to get shot." He murmured wings wrapping around himself in a definsive sort of way.

Ligeia's eyes went huge then he gave a low sound, his wings dropping a little, six of them? Six of these shot things? He didn't even want to get one of them and this was... He gave a bit of a jolt as the woman snapped on some white gloves and brough over the tray of syringes. His eyes got that much wider and went over to his father as if begging for the man to help him.
Orpheus reached over to pat him on the head, "You will be fine. It will be over quick you just gotta be strong alright?" He said reassuringly, "You need them, they will keep you from getting sick."
Ligeia lifted one of his hands to cling to that of his father then nodded, he could do this, he could do this, he could make it through and not pass out. He listened to what the scary lady said and looked away from her, squeezing his eyes closed.

Ligeia let out a little scree at the pinch then looked up at his father a moment, then closed his eyes again just in case so as not to be forced to see the things he was gonna get shot up with, "B-Blu-Eeee is my favorite. Its b-Eeeest." He said in reply to her question, "W-What about you?"
Ter tilted his head, wait a second! He saw that! He gave a hissing sound and clapped his hands seeming to be in awe of the devious woman. Yes, yes he did like her.

Ligeia seemed a little surprised by her answer, someone that liked white best? That was something different, something he'd not expected then he gave a little nod, "White is nice." He liked white since he was mostly that color. Then he grinned as she said 'pink' that made sense, since she was a she that meant that she of course would like pink. Right?
Ter looked at the woman for a long moment then flicked his tongue out at her in response to what she had said, wait. Him on the receiving end? Ah! He understood what she meant, she was gonna stab him with those things next? Terpsichore gave her a sort of 'I dare you' look before he flicked his tongue again and turned his gaze on Ligeia.
"Done?" He asked, lifted his hand to rub at his arm, "That wasn't... so bad." Wasn't nearly as bad as he had thought that it was gonna be, a little achy but... not that bad.

Ligeia gave a happy sound as he was given a lollipop, so one got candy for behaving well dyring this sort of thing then? He would have to keep that in mind he thought to himself as he took the candy from her, "Thank you." He said, smiling brightly, then turned to look at Ter. It seemed that he was going to get some shots as well? Ligeia couldn't hide a smile at that, if he had to get shot the fact that Ter did as well... it made it all ok in his mind.
Terpsichore flarred up some, wait what? When was it that he was thrown into the mix for getting stabbed by this crazy lady? His liking for her died in the instance that he realized that he was going to get stuck with the things as well. His yellow eyed glare was then turned upon his father with full force and he flicked his tongue out at the man, "Red!" He hissed at him.
"You behave yourself as well as Ligeia did and maybe you will be alloted a bit of candy as well." Orpheus said.
The cobra paused in the beginings of his fit and looked over at the woman, chewed on his lip a moment then gave a nod of consent. He then held his arm out for her, she could stab away he supposed as long as he got his share of candy as well.

Ah, it was so nice to have a well behaved patient. Madeline hopped that all of the children she had to deal with today would behave as well as Ligeia had. Of coarse, with reality being what it is...reality and not a fantasy, today was going to be...well a nightmare.
Hopefully things would remain peaceful a bit longer as she now advanced on Ter. Red? Huh? She was confused as to why he hissed this at Mr. Solon. Maybe red meant that he was angry? It wasn't that Madeline minded having to deal with an angry kid, it was just that, well, she didn't frankly want to get bitten by a deadly cobra. Thank goodness there was lots of anti-venom on hand. Needless to say, D-corp stocked up on stuff most regular doctors offices might not have.
"That's right, do you like...cheery?" Madeline said as she softly grabbed the toddlers arm and held it steady white the needle sunk its way through Ter's scaly skin. No, no warning that she was going to stick him. Better to use the element of surprise in some cases, another trick she had learned.

Terpsichore's yellow eyes went huge as he was stuck, it was one thing to think one was ready for a shot it was another thing to get stuck by one. The cobra barred his teeth and gave an angry hissing sound, hsi tail twitching, "Terpsichore!" Orpheus said, in a voice that caused the snake child to jump and turn to look at his father instead of following through with the biting of the woman as he had been thinking on doing, "No."
It was simple word, one sylable and it seemed to make the cobra that much more testy. Telling him what to do was he? Feh, he would bite her if he wanted too! Let's see anyone try to stop him!
He turned around to glare at her again.
"You should behave. It wasn't that bad." Ligeia told his brother, getting the two sense of the owl wasn't what the snake wanted. He gave another low his, his free hand balling into a fist and he shook it at Ligeia.

It took a brave woman not flinch int the face of such terror and Madeline was a brave woman indeed. "Mmmn, interesting....." she mumbled the line to herself not especially caring to fill in Mr. Solon or Ligeia what she was thinking.
With a gaze cold enough to make even the most well mannered individuals uncomfortable Madeline glared down Ter, simply continuing on with the injections one after the other. Had Mr. Solon and Ligeia not been there to try and tame the little monster, it is possible to say Madeline wouldn't have been so bold.
Then again, this was a challenge and Madeline had never backed down from one of those in her life...oh, she liked to win them too. Darned if he bit her though! Oh, what a bad way to start the day that would be. "Don't worry....two more." She said as she pressed her thumb against the toddlers arm strengthening her grasp on him.
