Peace and quiet, this was exactly what she needed. The tea house was traditionally styled, set by the river and build to be efficent. The side opened up to the water, fenced off only by a simple railing to let the sun shine in. Liang had settled herself by the railing, eyes closed as she breathed in the warm breeze. This was the way life was supposed to be. She was dressed in a soft white cheongsam, cut slightly lower than most of her others, and carried with her her very first fan. It was simple, but that was the theme of the day. She was listening to the water and the ducks that floated on it, and was easily started when a woman stopped by her side.

"Jasmine tea Miss?" The woman questioned, gesturing to the empty cup that sat on the table in front of her. Liang smiled, feeling more open and at home then she had in a while, "Yes please." Instead of taking the cup with her, the woman shuffled off toward the kitchen to fetch a new pot. Deciding she wanted to watch people, Liang turned her attention to the entrance.

Lian had cut away from the eye of his watchful guardian and had gotten lost in the gardens. He had never been to this part of the twon and he had never seen such a different culture influnce before. Apparently his father thought it would be great if he wore clothing that was more traditional and better suited his name. Not that Lian knew anything by this other then he had to wear a very well decorated blue silk shirt and pants. Even the shoes were different. Oh well atleast it had a dragon embrodered on it, curcling and whinding across the fabric.

He had been walk a bit before he came upon the tea house set beside the river. Although it was rather quiet and didn't seem like anyone was there, the panda decided why not take a peek inside. Lian walked up and stepped just inside to take a look at this little house in the gardens.

Though she was hoping for serenity, away from the chaos that seemed to follow many of the D-corp children, a pair of green eyes caught her attention. She stared for a few seconds, noticing that the owner of them seemed particularly... Fuzzy. That was certainly uncommon, but not really strange. And his clothing, it was pretty. She found herself looking at him for far longer than she would normally deem appropriate, fascinated by this other for a reason she couldn't place.

Realizing she must look like a dope staring, she blushed deep red, a feat with her icy skin, but didn't look away. He had probably already seen her. It was a he, right? Yeah, shes wore dresses, cheongsams like her own, here at least. She didn't notice when the woman returned and set a steaming tea pot down on the table, worrying far too much that she had been spotted. When she really thought about it though, she kind of stood out.

The place was lightly decorated, very simple and well calming. The boy was busy looking around the place and had hardly noticed the girl who was intently looking at him. Well it lasted for a while till he had that feeling that some one was looking at him. Lian turned to look straight back at the girl. Her eyes where different colors.. blue and yellow, how odd, but she was very pretty.

Lian glanced carefuly around again before walking over to her table, smiling at the lady as she passed. When the panda got to the table he noticed she was blushing, why was she blushing anyways?

"May I sit here?" This placed looked really formal, it probably had alot of rules too, but there was some one his age he could talk to atleast.

Liang turned a bit deeper red, thinking maybe he was going to lecture her for staring. But then again, he seemed friendly enough. Maybe he just wanted to talk. She wanted to say yes, but she was too embarassed, so she simply nodded in silence, watching him curiously. She'd never seen another person her age in here, at least not without their parents. This place was near her brother's gym, so he let her walk over whenever he was working out. Wringing her hands together, she smiled, managing to say something, "Of course. I'm, um, you can call me Liang."

Lian sat across the table from her on the floor cusion. Well this was different, how can they sit like this for hours at a time, he thought briefly. "My names Lian, nice to meet you." He grinned. He looked her over breifly, being careful not to stare. She had wings so she must be a bird of some sort, but he'd never seen one colored like her before. She looked almost regal. Ah thats it!

"You're very pretty, are you a princess?" Ah yes male bluntness, don't you love it?

Liang beamed, thrilled that he thought she was a princess. "Well, no, I'm not a princess," she admitted, offering him an empty cup from beside the tabble, "I'm not pretty enough to be a princess, or elegant enough. Princesses never do anything wrong." Lian... Why did that name sound so familiar? Oh! This was the boy Roule had been telling her about, this was the panda. No wonder she liked him, they had a lot in common, or so Roule said. "I'm named after an empress though, Liang Nuying, from the Han dynasty," she explained, hoping he wouldn't think she was dorky for liking Chinese history.

"I think you're pretty enough to be a princess. I'm sure even some princesses do a little wrong, sometimes..." Lian atleast knew that not everone was perfect, why should royalty have to be 100% then? He took the cup and placed it infront of him. Was he suppose to pour it the tea. He looked at the steaming pot for a moment.

"Oh atleast you know you're named after someone specific. I think my name means 'honest' in chinese. Thats what my father said atleast." chinese huh, maybe this whole place was themed after the chinese and their culture then. That would make more sense.

Noticing his hesitation, she considered this particular sitation her specialty, she picked up the tea pot carefully, holding the lid in place as she poured it across the table for him. When she was finished she set it back down in the center, smiling to him. "Maybe they do, I've never met one myself," She agreed, choosing not to comment on the fact that he thought she was pretty, "I know this might sound a little strange, but I've heard about you before. From a boy named Roule, do you know him?"

"Thank you." he blushed a little if that was even noticable on his red hued fur. This all seemed so backwared to him, he wasn't sure if he was suppose to our the tea or not, well she did pour it very nicely. " Ah no, I met him a coulpe of days ago. Little white furry kid right?" He took the cup carefully and took a short sip. Ah well thats a different taste, was it suppose to taste like this? Lian had never had tea before.

She nodded, "Yeah, with a brown spot on his eye. He talks really fast." Blushing lightly, she continued, "I had some trouble keeping up with him." This boy seemed nice enough, he wasn't laughing at her after all. He reminded her of her big brother, he was being really sweet. She turned to look out at the river, holding her cup carefully in two hands, "Have you ever been here before?"

"He didn't talk that fast, except when it came to dragons." He placed the cup back down after taking another sip. He hadn't met to many girls, really, well not dcorp girls. There was the other bird girl in the shopping mall, but she was very different from Liang. "No, this is my first time, its very nice though. Do you visit here often?"

"Yeah, I come here whenever I get the chance," she said calmly, turning back to him, "It's nice and quiet so I can just sit and think for a while without worrying about anything bursting in." It was a sad fact, but only one other person in her family really seemed to appreciate quiet time. There had been a question nagging in the back of her mind since she had found out who he was, about what he really was. Roule had told her, but she still didn't quite understand, thinking maybe he had gotten it wrong. "What are you?" She asked, hoping the question wasn't too blunt.

"It must be nice to live near a place thats nice and quiet. I live closer to the city, so its quieter to just stay inside sometimes." City life is never a quietlife. theres always some one making noise even at the wee hours of the night, or morning in some cases. " Eh? Oh you mean what animal. I'm a Red Panda. they're a realtive of the Giant Panda but are much smaller, like a large house cat. I've heard sometimes they're called firefoxes."

"Firefox, that's nice," She chimed, storing in her mind that Roule had been right, "I'm a Feng-Huang, but I don't think you can find that anywhere now. My mother says they're mostly only found in myths. I met this boy Keanu once, he said he was looking for ones like me, and he didn't know we really existed. I think that's kind of strange." Realizing she was rambling, she mentally hushed herself and took a quiet sip, seeming a little embarassed. She was rarely one to talk a lot.
