Cody yawned, stretching his arms up over his head as he clopped his way towards the facility. Mornings... he hated mornings. Sure it was mid-morning but still. The boy had developed the unhealthy habbit of sleeping past noon when he could get away with it. Winter knew it came from him sitting up in his bed playing with his toys or some other such nonsense. They'd recieved the letter the night before and Winter had dropped Cody off before going to work. Edan or Pelinore would come to pick him up in an hour or two so everything was arranged just fine... though Cody had thoughts of ditching his older brothers and making for the park to see who all was there. Perhaps Keanu...a good brawl would wake him up.
The matter of actually getting a dragon egg hadn't sunk in quite yet. Winter had explained it that morning but he'd not been completely there mentally so much of it fell on deaf ears. All he knew was he was getting and egg of some sort.

Perilas eyed the sleepy boy that came in. That kid. He had a note about how dangerous the kid could be, always fighting. Why they had made a bull child, he had no idea... but it wasn't one of the brightest ideas for a kid that D-corp had come up with.
He marked something on his clipboard and stood, waiting for the other three to show. The clock on the wall showed time for him to start and he waited a few moments to see if there was anyone coming in right at that moment. Nope.
"Okay, then. It seems that you're the only one here today, Cody. So we'll just head on over towards your egg. Just keep in mind, don't touch anything and don't wander off." He eyed the bull child for a moment, then headed off to the incubator with Cody's egg in it.
"You've got a gold egg. See it there in the middle of the flame? It has to stay very warm so the dragon to hatch out of it healthy." He looked from his clipboard to the boy. "Any questions about it?"

Cody twiddled with his hat as the man eyed him. The note said there'd be other kids around to go look at their eggs. Seemed he was the only one that woke up in time. The thought brought a wide grin to his face. Winter would be proud. He'd done good this time.
He replaced his hat as Perilas spoke up, running a hand along the brim to make sure it was still in the right shape. Fussy thing... only looked right if it stayed in good shape. "Eh?" He glanced up to the man and tucked his hands into his pockets, "I won't, gotta stay on mah' best behavior if I'mma gonna get tah go out fer ice cream later. You tell Winter I done good." He smirked. It was tempting to wonder off... as they walked down the halls he eyed other rooms and doors that he'd not even seen before. At a later time he might just have to learn what was hiding in there... he'd heard there was a fighting class.
When they reached the incubator he looked in towards the fire, his ears lowering a bit, "Eye yer not bery bright are ya'? Th' note said I got me a copper egg. Ya 'ad yer coffee yet? Winter drinks it. Says it makes her brain get goin' in th' mornin'." He quirked a brow, looking up to the man who was showing him around.

((*bops self* Ooops... tis what I get for not double checking... *puts the blame on Peri* xd ))
The man looked back at his clipboard. "Oh, sorry. That's Stella's egg." He looked at the name under it. "Ah, yes, the copper egg." He glanced over at the incubator next to the one he'd pointed to. An egg sat nestled in sand. "That one's yours."
The man rubbed the back of his neck with a hand. Why had he made such an early appointment again? Oh, yeah, because he had a class later. He'd have to make a note to have coffee beforehand or just be sure to keep kids and eggs straight.
"Okay, so, uh, any questions now?"

Cody chuckled, looking quite proud of himself as he was pointed in the direction of his own egg. The bull boy clopped his way over to where it was sitting in the sand, watching it for a while. "I know what I'm gonna name ya already. Talked it with Keanu th' other day. Yer gonna be Tex so hurry up n' hatch so I can show ya off kay? Th' bigger kids won't got nothin' on me."
He turned back to the teacher, folding his arms in front of him, "Yeah, will it be the biggest dragon? Bet it will huh. Bet he'll get all the girl dragons too. That's what Winter said."

Perilas blinked for a moment. "Well, coppers are about average size, smaller than golds, silvers, and reds. As for getting all the girl dragons, well, first off we're not sure what gender your dragon is. It could be a girl. And second, it would depend on the dragon's personality."

"So I could be gettin' a girl dragon then?" He quirked a brow and looked to the egg, "'ow do ya tell if it's a girl or a boy? Like lizards don't got no parts tah be lookin' like horses or peoples to do tell. Do they got different colors or do they tell ya if they're a boy or girl?"

"When will it hatch? Soon right? Can I fly on it? I wanna dragon that can fly- that way I can get up n' see th' whole town. Maybe even breathe fire! Like in th' movies where th' big dragon's goin' through the towns burnin' people. I woudln't let him burn people but it'd be funny." He chuckled. Honestly he'd never have it in him to do such a thing but the thought amused him which was frightening enough.

"Well, we're not sure exactly when the egg'll hatch, but it should be somewhat soon. Coppers can fly, yes, but you won't be able to fly on it right away, you'd have to wait for it to get large enough to do that." He chuckled a bit at the boy's enthusiasm. "Coppers can't breathe fire, but they can spit a form of acid."
The man glanced at the clock. "Well, that's all for today. You can come back to visit your egg if you'd like, just make sure to make an appointment so that a tech can be here."

Raisa stepped through the doors quietly as Pika turned and sat down in one of the plush waiting room chairs. "Go on, just tell the desk clerk your name. I'll be right here when you're done." She smiled reasuringly and grabbed for a magazine.
Raisa smiled and bit her lip. Walking up to the desk she was about to speak when the clerk/security guard said, "This way," and proceeded to stand up and walk off down a hallway. Jolted a bit by surprise, Raisa hurried to catch up without running. After a couple turns she was directed into another area through sliding doors.
The guard left. Nervous Raisa started to look around and then stopped as her eyes picked out someone with a clipboard at the end of the room. Was today really the day she'd get to meet her dragon? Egg anyways.

"Daddy, am I really going to get a dragon today?" Emi asked, clinging to her father's hand. Dragons, from all she had read, were very scary creatures that liked to eat Maidens. And according to her father she was a maiden.
"Yes, Emi." Aiden answered, picking the little girl up and putting her on his hip. How was Alex going to react to a DRAGON in the apartment? God. He was SO screwed - this was NOT part of the deal! They had, apparently, forgot to mention that tiny little detail when he had taken Emi.
Ah well, Emi was worth it. Even if his lover did end up leaving him.
Finally they made it to where they were supposed to be and he looked around the room, stroking the white hair of his daughter. This should be interesting.

Donat preceeded Kumoru through the doorway at a happy skip, turning around once he was inside to make sure his father was still following. "I'm getting a dragon," he chimed, sounding by his tone like he did not quite believe it himself. So many friends and family members, and now the goat-boy would have a dragon to add to his list of people he knew!
"Yes, you are," Kumoru replied, wondering how on earth he was supposed to feed the creature. And keep it under control. He could bind the dead to his will, but a dragon was an entirely different story. Unless Donat just happened to get an undead dragon, but the mage supposed that was quite unlikely.
He smiled as Donat ran in a circle around him, then clung to his hand again. "Let's get to where we're supposed to be," Kumoru told him gently. "You wouldn't want to miss your dragon, would you?"
"Totally not!" Donat agreed, nodding vigorously as he stuck the fingers of his other hand into his mouth. He would just follow Daddy through the huuuge building, since the boy honestly had no idea where they were supposed to be going.
