Donat awoke as he realized sunlight was filtering through leaves and spilling down onto his face. He groaned quietly like a child being awakened for school and threw his arms up over his eyes to block the light, then sat up and abruptly realized that he was outside sitting in leaves with his back resting against a tree trunk.
This was definitely not his room.
And then the night's events started coming back to him. Searching the house for Daddy and finding no trace of him. Grabbing a little trail-mix bar and a cup of water and heading out at night. Wandering all through the woods until he got so tired he just curled up and went to bed on the ground.
The goat-boy yawned and rubbed his eyes, then got up, fishing the now-slightly mashed trail-mix bar out of his pajama pants' pocket. With some difficulty, he managed to tear the wrapper with his four little fingers, and as he started to eat, he looked around.
Best to just pick a direction and start walking; straight ahead looked unfamiliar, or at least less familiar than anything else, considering the last time Donat had seen his surroundings, they were all dark and stuff.
He worked on the bar and walked in as straight a line as possible through the woods, figuring he would come to the edge of it sooner or later. And after maybe ten or fifteen minutes, he did. There was a clearing, anyway, and there was a house in the clearing.
The thought did cross Donat's mind that he could not just walk up to any old house, but all the crossing gates were up, so the concern made its way quickily through his thoughts. The house clearly was not made of candy, so what was there to worry about? He strode across the grass, right up to the building.

Aylana rubs her eyes as she lands in front of the building. Holding her sleeping little daughter Cielra in the other arm. She was only stopping by to relax before she went off to check out stores for items needed for the twins. It had been an eventful night with the kicking within her stomach, it didn't seem to stop for an hour.
Pushing the door open she looks around peering into the building to see if anyone was around. When she sense no one was here she smiles glad for a moment "Maybe I can get a quick nap in." she looks down at her stomach running her fingers lighlty over it "Be nice and let mommy sleep alright?" she knew this was highly dountful as she could already sense they didn't want to be.
With a sigh she walks over to the couch carefully taking a seat before she folds her wings around her body. So if she couldn't take a nap she would just relax then.
Cielra opens her eyes slowly giving a yawn before she mews looking around. She knew mommie had to go out today. Sniffing the air she tilts her head trying to figure out where she was. Looking up at her mommie she mews again patting her chin lightly with her small paw.
Aylana smiles then pokes the kitten nose causing her to wrinkle it up "Were at Fa'e Headquarters, I'm just relaxing for a moment little one. We'll be on our way soon." unfolding her wings she watches as the kittne nods then climbs out of her arms to lay ontop of her belly.
Tilting her head to the side Cielra listens to the little babies. She was very curious about them and eager to knwo when they would appear like Nova did.

Though he was not approaching the side of the house with the door, Donat could see someone walk up to the house and let herself in. She looked so cool! She had big feathery wings, kind of like his brother Arlyn's, only hers did not have stripes, and she had more of them. And was she blue, too, or was Donat just seeing her wrong?
Now deeply curious, the little goat stuffed the last of the trail-mix bar into his mouth and walked around to the front of the house. Crinkling the wrapper up in his hand, he stuffed it into his pocket, then rested his hands on the edge of the windowsill and stood on tip-toes to peek over the sill and into the front room.

Watching the little kitten on her stomach Aylana couldn't help but laugh. Poking the kitten lightly in the side she smirks as Cielra mews then bats at her mommies hand playfully "They'll arrive in this world when they are ready Cielra."
Cielra mews then sticks her small pink tongue at her mother before going back to listening. She wanted them to come out now so she could play.
Shaking her head Aylana pauses looking around. Another had shown up and she could sense them. Tilting her head she glances towards the window to see the young one. With a smile she lifts her hand giving the young child a wave.

Donat's wide blue eyes went a little wider when the pretty blue bird lady waved at him, and he quickly ducked down under the sill again. Was he supposed to be here? She was too pretty to be a witch or anything like that, so the goat was certainly not scared, but still....
After a moment, he peeked back into the window again, having been overcome with curiousity. Maybe the next time the pretty blue bird lady looked at him, he would wave back, to see what she would do. Maybe he could at least go inside and throw away his trail-mix bar wrapper, since it was kind of crinkling in his pocket and he could not for any reason just drop it on the ground because that would be littering. Donat needed a little more water, too; he was thirsty and he had finished the little bit that fit in his lidded cup before he even went to sleep last night.

Aylana arches her brow slightly wondering if she scared the poor child. Glancing down at Cielra she shakes her head seeing the child was off in her own world still. Glancing back up she watches the area the child was in. He was still there as she could sense his thoughts.
Closing her eyes she seeks out his mind wondering if he was a fa'e child. When she see he wasn't but instead the child of Kumoru she gasp. She saw that he was worried about his father and in the process locked himself out of the house.
Frowning as she didn't want the child to stay out in the cold, nor did she wish to move as Cielra seem comfortable she once again focus on the child. Seeking his mind she pokes into it then smiles seeing he had no barrier "Its alright you can come in. I know your father Kumoru, please come join me Donat." her voice was soothing and filled with warmth. She didn't want to frighten the child.

Eyes widening again, Donat pressed his little dark nose against the glass to stare at the lady through the window. Was she really talking to his mind? How did she do that? She must be really magical like Daddy if she could do things like that. And she was getting all blurry-looking, too- wait, never mind. Donat leaned back again and saw that he had fogged up the window with his breath.
He inched a little to the side so he could see her around the foggy spot again, and stuck a finger in his mouth as he pondered how he should react. How did she know him, and Daddy, too?
Oh well, she must be alright. Grinning, Donat held up a finger to say "one minute", then walked over to the door to reach up and turn the knob.

With a nod Aylana peeks Cielra up placing her on the couch "We got some company Cielra." she nods toward the door. Cielra glances toward the door tilting her head to the side, her ears twitch a couple of time before she bounds off the couch racing on all four toward the door.
Aylana chuckles at Cielra hyperness to meet a new person. Afterall the kitten always did love playing. Standing she places her hands over her stomach making sure she had her balance before she rewraps her wings around her body.
Reaching the door Cielra paws at it seeing if she can open it up. When she see that it was not going to open for her she mews. Sitting back she mews wrinkling her face up before taking a few backwards steps. If anything she could at least jump into the new person's arms when she has the chance.

Donat stepped back from the door as he opened it, and smiled a little. He waved with one four-fingered hand, and brushed at his clothes a bit with the other. His attire consisted of a light green shirt with a brown cartoon puppy face in the center, and a pair of matching dark green pants, similarly patterned all over with puppies. Both articles were smudged with dirt in places, particularly around the boy's knees, elbows, and shoulders, and the baggy pants had a few small holes.
"Hiyas," he said, glancing between the pretty blue bird lady and the little cat, too. "Um, can I get a cup of water, please?" Donat took his own empty lidded cup out of his pocket with some effort, since it was just barely big enough to fit.

Aylana smiles nodding towards the kitchen "You can get water in there sweetie. The stepping stood should help you get some out of the sink." standing slowly she walks over only to lean down to pick Cielra up.
Cielra mews making a face as she is picked up, she wanted to check this new person out. Watching the other person she eyes the item in his hand. That was something very familiar to her as she too had one.
Shaking her head Aylana pokes the kittens nose as she loosk to Donat "How about I help you? That way you can get something to drink and I can get something to eat?" holding her hand out she smiles to the young boy.

"Okay, thank you, ma'am," Donat said with a small bow; just because he did not know where Daddy was did not mean he was allowed to forget his manners. And if he forgot them around the pretty blue lady, Daddy would probably find out anyway, since she seemed to know him.
The bow hurt his back a little, since he had been doing so much walking and he had slept on the ground besides, but the goat tried not to let it show on his face as he walked a bit stiffly into the kitchen.
The sink looked almost high enough to reach, but it would be better with the step stool. The lid of his cup came off with a pop, and he set both parts of it onto the counter while he dragged the stool over. Then Donat turned the faucet on and put his cup into the stream of water, and glanced over his shoulder at the pretty blue lady while his cup filled up.

Watching the little one for a moment she smiles seeing he was going to be fine. Placing Cielra in a highchair she secure her in place as she kisses her small little nose.
Turning she pops the fridge open looking though it. Biting her bottom lip she smiles seeing the blueberry yogurt. It wasn't ice cream, but ti would do.
Grabbing one she flips the lid off of it as she grabs herself a spoon "So you went looking for your father last night? Hmm I wonder if he looking for you now." she holds the spoon out toward Cielra watching the kitten as she sniffs at the spoon.
Wrinkling her nose up for a moment Cielra looks up at her mother before licking some of the yogurt off the spoon. It wasn't so bad and it tasted sweet. Mewing she makes grabby hands toward her mother.
Laughing Aylana holds the spoon back out towards Cielra so she can lick at it. Tiling her head to she smiles Donat "How about after I feed her and eat alittle we go see if we can find your father?"

Donat nodded. "Sure," he began with a smile, but his face quickly fell. "I don't know where to look, though. I looked through a bunch of forest last night and he wasn't there."
His eyes widened a little in surprise as the cold water filled to the top of his cup and started to spill over onto his hand. "Oops," the goat exclaimed with a giggle and turned his attention back to the sink for a moment so he could turn the water off and put the lid back on his cup.
Then he climbed down from the step stool and went over to stand beside the table, watching the blue lady again.
"Oh yeah, how do you know Daddy's name?" he asked after a moment and a sip of water. "And what's your name?"

Smirking she glances over watching Donat. Watching the young one reminded her what it was like at that age again, to have no care in the world and just have fun. It was those days that she often missed, but then she couldn't dwell on the past anymore.
Turning for a moment she watches Cielra as she licks her lips before opening her mouth again. Giving the young kitten another spoonful of the yogurt she smiles "Well I know your father from a previous meeting. We went and had ice cream together." with a pause she glances at the young one smiling "And my name Aylana, but you can call me Ayla or Lana."
