Kirki walked up to the shrine with his handful of fragments and set them carefully at the base. He'd be happy to keep these glimpses of a different world, but they'd serve a different purpose. He could always find more. OOC Link to task completed: 1 2 3 4 5Name of character: Kirki Link to Heart Log: Heart Lor

Peculiar . . . But not unwelcoming. that's what this place felt like to him. A little removed from the rest, but not necessarily in a bad way.
Lance offered his fragments as reverently as he knew how, and as they were taken he felt something shift inside. He felt longing still, yes, but now he felt more solidified along with it. Like his hands and feet and arms and legs and body and head suddenly were more solid.
He left to muse over the change, wondering what else was in store.

Noze slapped down his haul to the Goddess in question, giving her a sassy wink. "There y'go, toots! Just like you ordered." The Goddess seemed oblivious to his strong come-on, but he was left with a wonderful sensation all the same. One that left him with a vague feeling of pinstripes...

[Enter from Spire]
It had taken Vettey a while - a good long while complete with frayed nerves and battered pride - till she finally amassed a sizable number of fragments to present before the goddess and it was with great trepidation that she waited for the other's verdict when it came to her turn to stand before her.
Well..? Is this enough or do I have to go out there and bring you some more?"
She asked, her tone uncharacteristically tentative as silence set in once more. It was then that she felt the same warmth enveloping her entirely just as the very first blessing she received from Ruin had, a quick glance down at her own body confirming that the goddess had granted her an even more solidified form than what she was before. It was really a very small thing in itself but she couldn't help the elation that sprang forth from her very own core, thanking the goddess repeatedly for the blessing before she made a beeline for the exit, eager to see what had become of Errand.

"These fragments... the voices associated with them. What are they?" Sevy questioned, his tone all the while respectful as he kept his head lowered slightly before the goddess. Silence hung the air and that only made him sigh to himself, not at all pleased to be kept in the dark like this. Were all that supposed to be part of the trial as well?
He felt the effects of the blessing even before he could witness the visible results of it, the importance of his budding friendship with Ajsak taking on an even deeper meaning than what he had thought of it before. It felt familiar. Almost like something he had been through before though he was unable to pinpoint what exactly.
So it seemed that his question was not one that the goddess would be inclined to answer at this point in time eh? He could deal with that. If he took the spot next to them as one of them eventually, he would learn of all their secrets and somewhere in between that he was bound to understand what all of this meant for sure.

Though it took longer than she had hoped (it was all that guy's fault), she had finally completed her task, and as she offered up the fragments (the last one a little more eager than usual), she felt her core grow brighter, and stronger. Yes, she was on her way to becoming a goddess!

He hadn't been here before but he knew the task complete before it was given. A form? He would like that. Was that what that other shadow had meant? He offered up the fragments. He felt solid, more complete. Good. This was the goal right? It would lead him to what he was looking for. Sterncave came bounding in. "Hey! Hi! Sorry, I don't wanna be rude, but can we do this real quick? I told someone I'd be back, and I hate to be a liar, and--"
And honestly, he found this whole thing kinda weird, and he just wanted to be back out in the open space running and bounding and leaping.
Energy: he had a lot of it.
And he accepted the blessing, feeling more whole, which made him feel even better, and he wanted to run even more.

Stew felt particularly uneasy as he descended into the subway and approached the door to the shrine. This was where he was meant to show tribute to his Goddess, the being who exuded so much promise and menace in equal measure. He might have hidden his inner turmoil completely had he not had a heart everyone could see. He presented his fragments with a surprising amount of poise and grace, but in his chest his golden heart churned and writhed. He was glad when it was over. Iteri returned to the shrine, fragments in hand. He presented them to the shrine and felt the blessing overcome him. He felt weight upon him; felt more whole. If tasks were going to complete him; he would take on as many as necessary.

Navya presented the fragments to the shrine with a soft, humble bow. Was that a silly thing to do? She wasn't sure. She felt the effects of the blessing and she stumbled back a little. It was a little shocking. She felt like she was almost ready; almost complete. What would happen when she was done?
She turned and left to ponder.OOC Link to task completed: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5Name of character: Navya Link to Heart Log: x

Subvy entered as though he did not need to hurry for even a second, slipping the fragments out from his bandages, and offering them to the Goddess. He did it wordlessly, cupped in both hands, and accepted the blessing with the faintest traces of a smile.
He felt calm. Without a ripple. And yet, the constant peppering of questions inside his head would not let him rest, despite his facade.OOC Link to task completed: 1. 234. 5. Name of character: Subvysscaaea Link to Heart Log here

Etyam presented himself dutifully, but with a curve to his wispy spine that was just barely feral. Five fragments alight in his palm, dim grey from the power they had imparted to him. They were far more valuable for what they could get him. The blessing imparted gave his form sharp edges, solidity he had not known before. He had only known loneliness - he craved more now than ever. For each door opened to him, it seemed a hundred more lay waiting to be explored. Nzsyoecsz presented his fragments nervously, looking around the shrine at all times with wide yellow eyes that asked everything he didn't dare to. It was a task more suited to his abilities, this one. The blessing gave definition to his features. He was no longer a grey ghost, but something more solid. The beginning of clothing rustled down to his feet. His heart glowed brilliant gold as he could finally see the importance of the others. Friends. They could be friends. Cylu displayed her five fragment offering. She began to feel more complete; more whole. It was a strange sensation, especially considering she didn't realize she was only a fragment of a being. Thoughtfully, Cylu began wandering away from the temple to begin another task. The new thoughts and feelings were extremely distracting, but she wouldn't let it get in the way of her purpose.

Altairas approached the shrine cautiously, unsure of what to expect as he presented his collection of fragments. He felt as if some memories were restored, but he couldn't recall them exactly. Satisfied with this blessing, he turned around to return to his spastic companion; though he couldn't imagine why. That boy was irritating at least. It just felt like an important thing to do.
