Then the continuation of rocks. However she did not move form the area, stubborn holding ground. She found most of her fragments there adn that's where she's going to stay until she finds the last of her fragments.

He continued on, the fragment still resting on the palm of his hand as he studied it. A fragment danced close to him and he absentmindedly reached out; but he wasn't paying enough attention to capture it.

It didn't take too long thankfully. several seconds after staring at a particular bright rock. She finds the fragment and grins toothily. rushing to the shrine to deliver these delectable items. Which instantly reminded her of .. ingredients for the food she had seen. Each one of them shined and looked as bright as anything valuable. And while she was taking the fragments back to the shrine.. she smiled to herself in happiness.

He zipped along the paths, from pool to shining pool, dipping his slightly-less-ethereal hands into the water and nodding thoughtfully in response to what he felt. It was all so strange when he knew it should not be. This was all he had ever known, after all, and to find this place strange was to mark all of his existence as such.
Lyeb trailed his fingers through the water, the dancing numbers in his mind icing over as he touched another fragment.
...big and strong...just like pop...
Big and strong... him? He didn't feel big and strong. His feet slowly sank to the earth as the memory fled. Lyeb stood taller, if that was possible, even if he couldn't remember why.

So she had left, then. He had missed her before he thought to ask her name, though he supposed the area was limited; eventually they might run into each other. He wouldn't fret, as there were many others to interact with.
Namely fragments.
Remembering to smile at it first (it really seemed to do the trick if you did it right!), Lance snatched a fragment; the smile faded when he heard a harsh growl at him "Are you deaf, boil?"

Another fragment came - this time dancing across his fingers before shrinking out of reach. He pocketed the one he had collected and stopped to look around, trying to find one that he could actually capture. This was like a game and he had a feeling he didn't like to lose.

Ok, well, fine, it wasn't like she wanted it anyways baka. "Whatever, you little fragment snatcher, I'll just go get another one." She stuck her tongue out at him and turned around, nearly missing getting smacked by one as it whizzed past escaping someone else's grasp.

Sweet talking would be nice if he knew how to actually, you know, sweet talk. As it was, Lance's mumbled words made little contribution to getting the things he needed. Siiiigh . . . He ran a hand down his face.
