Even as Etyam tried to clamber along some of the less precarious spikes and walkways that criscrossed the area in pursuit of the fragments, he was starting to realize he was not particularly fast.

Koala May looks at the fragment that he Andie managed to grab, narrowing her eyes on it as he held it out to her. She was almost tempted to tell him no, that she could do this herself. Only problem was, she was getting flustered and was starting to think she might need his help. Carefully reaching towards him, she comes to a stop just as one floats by.
Without a second though, she climbs over him to snatch the fragment. The moment it touches her hands, she squeaks as it spoke.
"Stop acting like..."
She just stares at it confused for a moment. How was that suppose to make any sense whatsoever? Shaking her head, she looks back at Andie before she grins "Finally got one." she tucks it away for now.

The goddesses really were not kidding about this being a test of their character. He'd never come across anything quite as challenging before in his life.
Then again, his life had started only a short time ago, so he didn't have a lot to compare it to.

He was hit by something solid in the midst of sneaking behind the two other shadows.
"AH!" The two Fragments knocked away from his hand by someone bumping into it.

At first he was startled when Koala went from going to try and take the fragment from him to climbing over him and grabbing a different one. But that faded and he let out a laugh and grinned at her. "Good. Now you can share in the utter randomness of these fragments."

Errand chuckled. "We will probably serve the new goddesses or they will show more the way and have them serve them - it is hard to tell. But I doubt our goddess would let us come to harm."
Errand had the utmost faith in his goddess - which is why he wanted to be one as well. So he could protect and serve those who served him.
"Hey, at least you actually got one this time?" He tried to encourage her. After all, it had taken him a bit of time to gather all five of his.

Blind faith. That was what Errand had with regards to the goddesses though it would have to admittedly take more than that to have Vettey singing the same tune as him. As tempting as it was for Vettey to point out how flawed and dangerous his stand in this matter was without knowing everything that were possibly at stake in return, she decided to hold her tongue and shrug it off for now.
"I do hope that you are right on that aspect Errand." Spotting yet another fragment though this time on his overalls, she stretched out her hand towards it only to have it poof before her eyes just as she was about to pry it form his clothes. "Got one, missed another. You sure you really want to hang around and wait for me like this..?" So much for progress...

It's not slippery until you bumped at me... Not that he can blurt that out. Somehow Eir can't get mad. Or he simply lacked emotion for that cause.
"Either way", he blurted out. "Before you bumped at me, I hear there's monsters in here. Is that true?"
