Jethro KodiacHobbies:Clay Sculpting/Model Building - December was always great with his fingers, and was quick to take up making little figurines and friends for himself to play with when given play-dough as a child to keep him occupied. As he got older, he began crafting in more and more detail, using money he got from odd jobs and favors by the adults who came in and out of the house to beg his older brother to buy him paints. Soon, he began to branch out from simple clay figures to model building, enjoying all stages of it's work, from piecing it together to painting them, and once he gained his freedom, he found himself frequenting warhammer stores as well, more for the figures themselves than to play the game.
Cooking - One of the many tasks he was given living with his sister was to cook for himself, his siblings, and the 'guests' that would frequent the upstairs of his house. While at first, he was limited to cheese omelets and bacon sandwiches, his sister, when feeling kind, gifted him cook books to branch out what he knew. Once he got a compliment from one of the 'guests' on his fried rice, he became addicted to that praise and quickly tried to make all the new things he could. The more he got complimented, the more he cooked, and he found himself enjoying the practice enough to sell plates of food to the guests every now and then to take with them.
RPGs - When he faced a particularly bad day with his siblings, or was feeling especially lonely, December retreated to his bedroom and locked the door. He'd lose himself within RPGs, finding himself dreaming of being these amazingly strong heroes/heroines and finding his own freedom among them. He'd dream of having lots of friends defeating the terrifying villains to win his own happy endings. As he grew older, he stopped being so fanciful with his ideas but still enjoyed the idea of having another life through these characters. Such enjoyment has led to him frequenting game stores and trying to work on cosplays as much as he can, so that maybe, one of these days, he could go to the DC conventions that pop up every now and again.
Virtues: Optimistic - While having definitely gone through some s**t growing up, December never really allowed that to keep him down. He was confident that some how, some way, things would get better, that no better how ugly things got there is going to be that light at the end of the tunnel and he was most certainly going to reach it! More often than night, that does prove to be true, even if by a hair split of a chance, and he keeps that hope up! When things do go wrong, well, he's positive things will change one way or another! Sometimes you just gotta be the one to do it yourself!
Sturdy - Despite generally being a non-combative kinda person, enough beatdowns from his brother ensured that he was pretty decent in a fight. While he's no muscle-bound heavy hitter, he's quick on his feet in the physical department, and relentless in most situations. This boy doesn't know how to give up in any situation and is steadfast in his ways, for the most part.
Supportive - More than anything else, December loves to be the person to give out praise to all that he meets. He is excited to cheer on his friends and co-workers on in whatever they do, having more confidence in them than they might even have in their selves. Beyond that, he is happy to help anyone he can once he trusts them, and will give being the best friend/confidant he can in all cases.
Flaws: Emotion-driven - Every single thing December does is driven by his heart, whether it is out of loyalty or out of his own need to let his emotions show. He's very quick to snap at people when angry, or cry out his worries and fears at the drop of a hat. There is hardly any logic or thought given to what he does, he only knows that deep in his heart it's the 'right thing to do', whether or not it's approved by other people.
Self Critical: Being Inept was no longer an option any more after several years with the Negaverse. The Grave Consequences became worse, from broken bones to personal abuse, until the only thing December could accept
for himself is perfection. If no chance was given to criticize the things he
could control, then there would be no pain. While he accepts outside criticism, he obsesses over it, going over the situation in his head repeatedly, as if he has blinders on. He is patient and kind still to others, but to himself, the smallest of failures lead to a manic period to fix what he perceives as wrong. This has led to more than a few sleepless nights and destruction of progress in search for perfection.
Excessively Empathetic: There is so much suffering out there to see. Not only because of the war, but within their own ranks. People just seem to be broken and battered without any reason for it. And December feels it. Every single bit of pain that someone comes to him with, he takes it as his own and tries to do everything he can to help. But he's never been very good at discerning truth from fiction. It's easy to take advantage of his giving and feeling ways, especially since he seems all too ready to take the shirt off his back and give it to you, even if you're fully clothed. With something resonates with him extremely well, he's stuck and broken for a few days, unable to shake that thought of the other person's plight out of his mind, and leads to mistakes... That are then overly assessed with and shamed by himself, sticking him in a loop of negative emotions until the next situation shakes him free of it.
