He was visiting the barracks today. Why? Sometimes the littlest lieutenants needed a boost. Adonis had been sent here by a higher up to give them that. He wasn't the best one to do that, considering nothing really impressed him, especially teenage boys and girls who suddenly join the Negaverse and think they're invisible now. He'd run into so many of them over the years that the last time he visited this place was just a few weeks after he powered up for the first time.
The corrupted senshi's heels clicked on the tiled halls as he looked for someone, anyone honestly, to talk to. Adonis was going to do his job properly, if he could find anyone. It seemed not many people lived here.
Finally, he stopped outside of a door that had a name written on it; Lt. Fettelite.
Okay. His knuckles rapped on the door and the tall, slender man waited to see if this one was in.

The barracks never seemed to get any more comfortable, Fettelite had decided. No matter how many little things he snuck in from the real world, or how many times he tried to make his tiny room a little brighter, it still seemed off. There was a clinging loneliness there that he couldn't shake off. Even after he had gone nearly a month of doing his best and only messing things up a little bit now and then, there was no real praise from anyone.
Sure, praise wasn't everything, but even his sister, for all her meanness gave him praise when he brought money home. These Generals? The captains? Even his own teammates... No one really said much to him. Fettelite thought maybe atleast one of them would come by to see him here every now and again, given how they, you know, burned his house down,
Nope... Nothing. And as much as Fettel tried to say it was alright... It really, really wasn't. Most days ended up like today, left alone, fiddling in his room with papers for maybe a real job in the real world and knowing he probably wouldn't be able to get a single one, not with how bad he tended to be with everything.
Just once, he'd like for something to go right, and for a day not ending like all the rest.
He couldn't help but jump at the sudden knock on the door, but he readily bounded up, opening the door whiteout even asking who it was.
To his surprise it was a senshi. Now that was something he didn't come across all too often... If ever. There were some Negaversers who seemed to talk down about them, but personally he never had a reason to think anything bad about the Senshi. They were just another faction of this organization, right?
"Hi, can I help you?" Sad thoughts aside for now, Fettelite managed a large smile instead, hoping that it did show how friendly he could be. He really did only want to make more friends after all.

Adonis put both hands behind his back as he gazed down at the agent. The senshi was a tall, slender figure, surely a body type perfect for modeling...If he took better care of himself. He was covered with leather save for his middle section and face. "I'm Adonis, Corrupted Senshi of skin," he said as a way of introduction. "I was told that there are some new lieutenants that aren't quite feeling like they belong. I'm here to help with that, apparently." He would wait to see if the other invited him into the room, or if he was supposed to talk here, out in the open. Adonis couldn't blame the other if he didn't want a senshi in his room. There was a paper thin sort of 'truce' between Chaos senshi and Negaverse Agents. "Would you happen to be one of those people, Fettelite?" He'd gotten the name off the plate next to the door.

.. That sounded strange... Were the Generals really keeping an eye out on people like him...? How did they know he was struggling...? It seemed strange, and almost a little scary that they were watching him so closely, but it wasn't entirely unbelievable. He was living in their domain, after all... He wouldn't be surprised if there were bugs around.
After a moment Fettelite blushed a little, embarrassed by the very thought that they might have seen him cry.
"Oh, um, hello Adonis! I'm Fettelite! You can call me Fettel though, easier that way... Uh... Maybe just a little, the whole thing about feeling off... Please, come in!" He stepped to the side, allowing the Senshi in and closing the door behind him. "It's probably better not to talk about things out in the open..." Oh geesh, what if that meant his room was bugged too... Maybe he should just not be in the Negaverse at all when talking about this!
"So! If you're here to talk about things... What were we gonna talk about? I mean, sure, icky feelings and all but they'll go away once I get better at things, right? But that's always the hard part, I'm not good at anything useful hear. I try though, I try really hard!"

He was looking around the room with that same, flat expression when the door was closed. Adonis wasn't a man one easily impressed. The man put his hands behind his back and walked forward, taking a closer look at a few things, trying to get a sense of personality from the... flustered lieutenant. Pale eyes turned to the other one more time and he arched one brow. "You need to put yourself out there more. As captains or even other lieutenants to train and spar with you. You could even look into taking up some self defense classes if you're not good at fighting." He was saying it so casually, like he was talking about the weather. "If you're seeking... companionship, there are options." His face once more relaxed to 'resting b***h face' and he focused on Fettelite's face. "But, I suppose to better understand your situation, you should explain why you're feeling these... sort of feelings. Did something happen?"

For someone who was supposed to be welcoming, He seemed very very judgemental, and Fettel didn't really like it all that much. Fettel really didn't have much... Everything was burned away in the fire, and what he did have were just little knicknacks he got from friends, or little model planes and toys he had managed to scrounge up just enough money to afford. He really didn't have much money to do anything, to live anywhere... Or to really find comfort besides those brief moments where he could be with the few friends he had.
That really wasn't something he wanted to think about right now, and only smiled and nodded at the senshi in his room.
"That's.. Not a bad idea at all! I could try that!" Not that the was fully intending to... He just wasn't the kinda person to want to fight... He wanted to help his organization's cause, sure, but not like that... Not with Killing.
"Oh... I would have thought that if you were to come check up on me, you'd have read my file or something... B-But that's okay! I just... I have nothing, that's all... No family left, no place to really call home except the barracks... And I'm not blind, I know I'm not very useful to the cause or anything besides gathering energy, and even then..." His mind went to the General who would call for him every now and then... the way the man would touch him, give him 'tasks' to do to prove that he wasn't entirely useless, and he didn't really mind it, no... But it didn't feel like he was doing enough.
"T-that's not to say I'm not trying! I do my best, even if I botch things up, so I'm not about to give up! I'd just like to actually have a friend or a partner to work through it all with. So I can maybe feel like I have a place here and not just a burden... That's what teams are for, right? But my team is... They are so darned closely knit, and here I come and it feels like there's no room at all for me... And do you remember that tournament not too long ago? I had to go up against a team mate... And they seemed like they enjoyed it.. That's not how teams work, right? We are supposed to help one another, not just... Beat them until they are a bloody pulp! And when it was my matches, none of my team members came to see me? Yes, they had their own matches to fight, but I... I still made sure to go see them and cheer them on! It feels like I'm in a room with a bunch of people who are supposed to work with me, but I'm still the odd one out and I don't know why..." At this point, his smile faded, and he began to squeeze and twist the edge of his vest. Maybe he had said too much.. What if this man went and told his superiors and he was reprimanded for his honesty? Well, it was too late to worry about that now.
"You shouldn't worry about all of that though! I know it's likely my fault and my own failings so I just need to keep trying, right? I can't just give up!"

It wasn't judgement so much as just not being surprised. Adonis was very rarely surprised with people. It wasn't that he knew them, it's just he thinks he understands human nature, and by that line of logic, it was bound to get people's feathers ruffled. The little knickknacks were in sight and he did see them, maybe even let his fingers brush over them gently before turning back to listen to what he was saying. He was pleased that the other found his advice helpful, but of course it was. "Unfortunately they didn't give me your file to come check up on you." He shrugged. Then he kept his mouth shut so the other could talk fully without being interrupted. Maybe this boy was one of the good ones. He knew where he lacked but he was still trying to be helpful. That was admirable at least. Adonis stayed where he was, hands behind his back as he watched and listened to the passionate words being spoke before him. It was interesting to hear. He was really passionate about fighting for the cause. It almost reminded him of some of the movies he watched. He was having an issue with his team? Not quite as interesting. Senshi like himself didn't often form teams, but given the military standard of his faction, that would be a huge issue to overcome. As soon as the boy said Adonis shouldn't worry about it, a fleeting expression crossed his face and then was lost. "Just starting out," he started firmly, "is always the difficult part of the training. I've seen it over the years. There will come a time and a place that you will shine above your team and then they'll respect you for it. Some people you have to prove to them with physical action versus passive like cheering them on." Not that there was anything wrong with it, Adonis was trying here. "Do your training, study your team mates and you'll find a place among them. If you give up and try to do things on your own... Senshi are strong. Some or ruthless. But you know this." Pale eyes scanned the room again before settling on Fettel again. "If you want to be useful take up self defense at least. You won't always run into senshi who will talk to you. Some go on the offensive as soon as they see your uniform. Self defense means the team has to worry less about you. They may see you can hold your own. It could be an opening." Then he shifted his weight from the left to the right, his hip cocking out. There was a shuffle of leather that came with every movement. Was any of this helpful to the boy? He didn't know. It's things he wished people would have told him as soon as he had awoken. Now he had no team and no friends. Ah well. He had his freedom.

"... Ah." Fettelite listened, taking a seat on his bed as he listened to the Senshi's Advice.
Alot of it made sense. Keep trying, Use your actions, not your words. It all made sense.
But... Maybe in the end he really didn't care about his teammates opinions of him. After a while, his old general would forget about him, and he'd belong solely to the new general... And the new general didn't seem to give a rat's bottom about actively serving the Negaverse. He did, of course, but it wasn't the same as Leucite's fervent ways. The new General reminded him much more of his Sister's Self-serving ways, then anything else.
Adonis was right though. If nothing else, he could work on combat training...
"Thank you, Adonis... you really helped alot... More than anything, I think I just really want to complain about how I was feeling, I'm sorry. But I am gonna make a change! I'm going to get better and find my place here, I promise!"
