"Too easy." Chambersite murmured to himself as he drained the woman of energy. One of the "streetwalkers" of the city, it had been easy enough to lure her into the alley. Even easier to knock her out and drain her a bit. Though he made sure that she wouldn't be out for too long. After all, even if she had one of the less desirable professions, that didn't mean that he needed to go and kill needlessly, unlike a certain other lieutenant that he knew.

When he was done and pocketed the orb of energy he stood up and brushed himself off a bit, having had to kneel on the disgusting alley ground. Just then a gust of wind blew by him and he felt the cold chill of the air.

His outfit protected him from getting frostbite and freezing to death, but that was about it. He really needed to keep a coat with him when he went out. He could only try to move his jacket around him a bit more. It didn't help. He sighed and summoned his "weapon" the toy turnip and started to toss it for a bit, trying to decide if he should head back now or continue to get more energy.

Now, December knew he attracted a 'certain type' of person as he went on his way collecting energy. Knee high socks, thigh high shorts, big ol' round eyes... Yeah, he knew exactly the kinda people who liked to think he was a target to be preyed upon. And it was for that reason, he lurked these alleyways, his oversized sweater keeping atleast his upperbody covered and safe from the cold.

Even then, with the winter how it was it was easy to get cold too quickly, especially with those bare thighs exposed. Enough energy was taken, and and as he figured it was time to go inside, he felt it. That sorta almost electrical vibration that came from another Negaverser being nearby.

Curiosity got the best of him, maybe this time it would be a friend! One could hope, right? Maybe a half hop later he saw the other man, and grinned, giving a wave.

"Hey... Hey! You're like me right? You doing okay? It's cold, isn't it?"

When he felt the sudden signature of another negaverse agent, he had almost dropped the turnip in surprise. At first he wondered it it was some General that was angry at him for... whatever reason, but instead he found it was just another lieutenant. He sighed, picking the toy up and tossing it again. He would wait for them and see what they were up to, since he could feel they were coming his way.

After what felt like 10 minutes but was really only one, the other one appeared and Chambersite couldn't help but raise an eyebrow when he saw what the other was wearing, or at least, part of it. He was pretty sure the jacket wasn't a part of it.

"Uh, yeah. I'm a lieutenant." Chambersite really didn't want to make chitchat with such a happy-go-lucky lieutenant, or at least it was his first impression, since it was cold and he wanted to go inside. Somehow he managed to keep himself from sarcastically responding with 'It's COLD?! Wow! I didn't even notice!' Instead he just nodded his head.
"I assume you were out collecting energy?" He asked the other. He wouldn't go and start making enemies of his fellow agents. That would be bad and not at all advantageous.

"Yup! You got me there! Draining and all that fun stuff! It's nice to meet you though, since I'm pretty sure we haven't done that before! I'm Fettelite!" Deep down Fettelite knew That it wasn't always in his best interest to go around making friends. Yes, that helped with his own, personal loneliness, but often times he was lectured by his own general for creating relationships with people. It always put the mission in jeopardy, he said. Whether or not he really believed it was debatable.

"Are you doing alright? How long have you been a Negaverser? Ooh, do you normally patrol around here?" Question upon question was dished out, as if the boy hadn't spoken to another person his same rank in ages! That wasn't entirely wrong either, but he was far too excited for someone who was just complaining about the cold.

"Who's your general? Are you doing well? Do you need any help?"

Now Chambersite was starting to feel annoyed. This lieutenant was like a puppy that wouldn't stop barking. Chambersite took a deep breath to keep himself from snapping at the other and to try to remember what all the questions were that Fettelite had asked. He let it out a few moments later and answered the other now that he didn't feel like he would snap at the agent.

"I'm Chambersite. And I'm fine, I've only been in the Negaverse for a few months, but I've enjoyed that part so far. Not the cold though." He had been inducted in November, which was an unfortunate month to join in considering that it was supposed to be the start of winter. "Sometimes. I usually patrol in places around here but not always right here." It reminded him of how criminals would only stay in a certain mile radius since they were comfortable. If they were to analyze it, he figured that the Negaverse was much the same.

"Zircon is my General." He hadn't talked to her in a while though. He needed to check in. He thought about the help question for a moment though. There wasn't any real need for help right now. "I don't need any help right now, but that doesn't mean it would be unwelcome." Though if the other agent proved to be more of a hindrance than a help, then he would have to ditch the other.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Chambersite! I haven't heard of Zircon, but I'm sure they are great, since you seem to be doing so well!" There was no need to talk about his general and the deeds he had done... Nope, he didn't want to think about it.

"If you don't need any help, that's fine! To be honest, with pompoms as my weapons, I don't know how much of any help I can be. Ooh, but I do got that face and the uniform that says 'kid', so it's pretty easy to lure people out when I claim I need help with something. It's not very nice but... Hey, it works!" When he did go out to hit his quota, Fettel tried to focus on those who seemed more than likely to hurt others. Predators, creeps that hung out in allies, those who preyed on the weak and the helpless, but it still didn't feel all that great.

"How do you normally hit your quotas?"

Chambersite had to hold himself back from blurting out that he barely saw his General at all, but apparently she trusted him enough to get the right amount of energy each week. At least he didn't have a General breathing down his neck like some of the other agents. He was lucky somewhere at least.

Chambersite held his mouth open when Fettelite talked about luring people out with his... childish looks, but Chambersite thought better of it. He did not want to ask what type of people the other agent had lured. Chambersite couldn't help but shrug at the last question though. "Mostly wait and watch for a good victim and when it's time I strike quickly enough that I don't get seen. Or at least I try to. I have gotten caught a couple of times." He didn't even want to think of those. They were annoying, and he knew he had to be better than those.

"It's kind of slow, but I eventually meet my quota. Do you have any trouble meeting yours?" He didn't think the other would, but he was curious.

"Sometimes." Fettelite admitted, digging at the ground with the ball of his foot. "Othertimes I'm just... Really bad, you know? I'm not the best at fighting, or my boss gets mad and throws me around a bit so I'm all sore and achy from all that to really drain. I heard eating starseeds helps with the energy and recovery, but also I heard you could turn into a monster if you ate too many."

The youma that regularly chased him around... They had been human too once, according to what he read on his datapad.

"Have you met anyone like that? Ones who are kinda youma-ish...? I haven't, but I heard they are really scary sometimes... Mean and ready to eat you if their bosses tell them to!"

Chambersite raised an eyebrow but otherwise didn't say anything. He supposed he was lucky that Zircon didn't feel the need to beat him. But then again, Fettelite didn't seem to be... as competent as he was. Still, beating your followers was no way to get them to obey you. They either were too fearful of letting you down and making mistakes, or trying to find a way out of there.

Though he did suppose that there were those would were okay with the physical punishments and they healed too quickly too care. In any case, when he became a General, he would make sure that any followers that he had would be following him because they wanted to, not because they felt that they had to.

"I... would avoid eating starseeds for now. I've seen some of what happens to those who do it and it's not pretty. Well, sometimes it's okay, but you never know what you're going to turn into, so I'd advise against it." He couldn't imagine doing such a thing. He didn't have anything against any others who did it, but he had read up on the consequences of doing so, and he did not want to give up his civilian life in any case.

"But youma in general? I think I've seen some. Once you get to Captain I think you can get one of your own, but they eat starseeds for sustenance. I wouldn't want to mess with them or become one of their targets." This Agent was pretty naive, at least Chambersite thought Fettelite to be. Perhaps he needed some help?

"It's kinda scary too, you know? It's like, someone's soul. And I know we gotta take them because the big boss tells us to, but... I dunno, energy comes back, and can be restored, but your soul, if someone eats it, it's gone, isn't it?" There were alot of fears gathered up in his own heart about this, ones he was afraid to whisper out loud when near his general. That doubt was a sign of weakness.. Maybe it wasn't safe to tell anyone anything...

Oh well, too late now..

"I wonder if they feed bad agents to the youma, since they need the starseeds to live.. I really hope that's not the case.."

Chambersite shrugged. "I've never heard of having to take starseeds, but some have a preference. Though I've never been told by my General that I have to take them." Which made him wonder why he hadn't seen her lately either... Shouldn't she be trying to check in on him or something?

"I don't think they do. We've been attacked by youma before, so I don't believe that they would purposefully make agents out of them considering that they could "rebel". But I'm sure some Generals and others higher than them have encouraged it." He had remembered learning about a few agents who had been turned either into full youma or half youma. It was something he would avoid doing. Even if that meant not ever eating a starseed, something that he was completely fine with.

The other agent seemed to be doubting himself quite a bit though. "Look, how about sometime later, we can go out together and practice gathering energy?" He looked at his phone and realized it was getting quite later. "We can meet up later and see where you might be going wrong or need to improve? I can't guarantee that I'm better than a Captain or a General but I could at least try to help."

"Wait, you haven't...? So your general doesn't make you do it?" That was certainly news to him, and he was very much upset by it. Yes, he had known some of the Generals and other leaders were much more kind than his was, but so kind to the point where they didn't make their followers kill people?

It wasn't fair.

"I really hope that's not the case, but... You know, it's not really something I should think about too much... It always leads to problems, questioning why things work the way they doo. It's like my sister used to say, just shut up and do what I'm told or else I'll get in trouble... But that is really nice of you to offer! I want to get better, and I promise I'll figure out a way to repay you for the offer!"

"I'm not sure why they would in the first place. I've heard that we don't need to have starseeds as much anymore. Though I'm sure if Generals do want starseeds instead of energy, there's a reason for it. And whatever reason it is, I'm sure it's a good one for the Negaverse and not for humanity." He didn't really care about humanity. Even if he himself was human. He might feel worse for them if they were really trying to do something to change the world, but it seemed most of them didn't care, or at least continued to have children thinking that for some reason those children should be the ones to "save the planet".

A***holes.

His eyebrows had probably lowered at some point, which is why one of them raised again at what Fettelite said about his sister. "Yeah, that sounds abusive. I'm sure that once we rise up in the ranks, we'll get more knowledge. But you can't give all of the knowledge to the lowest ranks right? That would make it easier for any secrets to be spilled and information given to the enemy. All we can do is go for General, which of course I'm aiming for." As much as he wanted to be a General-King, he didn't see a need for it yet. Perhaps after a few more years of experience he may think about it, but for now, General was a reasonable goal.

He waved his hand at the other. "It's fine. Agents have to be trained somehow. not sure why we wouldn't help each other in that regard. Seems weird to have agents who can't do what they're supposed to and just let them continually fail without giving any help." He summoned his tablet and pulled it apart, letting the screen appear. "I can send you a message or whatever if you give me your information. That way we can meet up later."

"Mhm..." Getting into a debate over whether or not Humanity was worth thinking about wasn't something Fettel really wanted to think about.

He was soft, soft like butter, and wanted to save people, not hurt them. Had it not been for the threats of death, he wouldn't be here to begin with, and now that he was, well, he couldn't really leave.

Where would he even go?

"O-Oh, don't mind that. I just... Know from experience. No need to think about it, nope!" Fettel pulled out his tablet too and offered it to the other Nega. It was only really poked at every now and then, which likely didn't help him with his incompetence problem. "I'd be really, really happy for any training you could offer! You seem... Very patient with me, and I deeply appreciate that!"

Chambersite looked at the other agent like he was studying the other. It seemed to him that this was one of those agents that may have been forced into the Negaverse. He wasn't sure why. It made sense that they would want more Senshi on their side, so forced corruptions of ordinary people... why did other Generals do it? And then treat them so badly afterwards. If they truly wanted people who were forced into this to stay, shouldn't they be nice to them instead? Make them want to stay rather than being scared and perhaps finding a way out if possible?

Ah well, perhaps it was something to think about when he was finally a Captain or a General. At least he might have more of a say then.

After they exchanged information, Chambersite de-summoned his tablet and looked at the other. "It's no problem. I'm willing to help any agent who may need it." Besides, if an agent was too scared to do anything, then what kind of asset would they be to the Negaverse? "It's getting a bit late, so I'm going to be heading back to my home. But if you have some free time, feel free to message me about training. And when we're both free we can meet up then. It shouldn't be too hard to find some criminals to drain energy from." He said, stifling a yawn. Really, this conversation didn't seem like it had been long, but apparently it was. Or else he was just really bored. He wasn't sure which.
