Tabletop Role Play Games – Jethro grew up in Alaska, in a small town that didn't exactly have the best internet access, so himself and his peers sought other forms of entertainment when they weren't helping their parents with many of the daily tasks that marked their way of life. One of those things was D&D, ad other such role playing games. Over time, Jethro became the de-facto Dungeon Master for his group with is fun, patient, and innovative personality.
Cake Decorating – Jethro went to culinary school after getting an associates degree in business. He majored in Baking and Pastry, but his real heart was in the decorating. He greatly enjoys making not just great tasting baked goods, but great looking baked goods. After graduating, he took over his uncle's late wife's breakfast cafe, and reinvented it as 'Teddy-bear's Picnic,' a bakery/cafe with a cute bear theme.
Virtues:
Gentle Giant – Jethro is a man of formidable stature, but a heart of gold and a gentle demeanor. He is well aware of his stature and strength, sohe is very mindful and careful with the people and things he interacts with. There will be no Of Mice and Men incidents here! No sir! People might call him 'bear,' but he is more 'teddy' than 'grizzly' or should I say...Kodiak? He also really loves cute and cuddly things, hearkening to a soft and gentle nature.
Supportive – If there is one thing Jethro is good at, it is providing encouragement or emotional help to others. A good listener and an even temper, Jethro is the kind of guy that you can come to with your problems and bare your soul to in exchange for a warm hug, encouragement, and maybe a cupcake. Okay, there will probably be cupcakes. He doesn't always have a solution, but he does have a listening ear and a warm heart to offer, and if you're his friend, someone always in your corner, cheering you on.
Creative – It goes hand-in hand with his two biggest hobbies - one of which is now his actual job! - and that is creativity! Jethro is great at coming up with creative ideas for not just his cakes and other baked goods, but as a seasoned Dungeon Master, stories as well. Not to mention creatively adapting to all the shenanigans his players throw at him. He is great at thinking outside the box for solutions and ideas.

Flaws:
Intimidating – Due to his size and 'could throw a tree at you' stature, Jethro comes off as extremely intimidating to a lot of people. Many people are intimidated by him due to his imposing form and will pass him over for more personable and friendly looking people, even though you couldn't find a friendlier guy! This often upsets Jethro, even if he tries not to show it. Relationship pursuits have often gone no where after meeting, and a lot of people assume he is all meat-head and no skill. Even when people are looking for a fighter, they'd be rather disappointed - Jethro has neither bite nor bark, just a bear-like appearance that scare many people away before they can test him for either.
Idealist – Jethro's conduct is often influenced by his 'glass half-full' ideals that conflict with more practical considerations. He chooses to believe in the best of everyone and everything, thus his desires and aspirations can lean towards the more fanciful, unrealistic, and impractical. Sometimes he is so knee-deep in his idealistic beliefs that he can find himself in denial about the reality of a situation, continuing to bucket water out of the sinking ship.
Soft-hearted – Jethro has a tenderness of heart that can lead him into trouble; He often cannot resist helping someone when he sees that they are in trouble, suffering, or in need. Easily swayed by a sob story, he is a ripe target to be taken advantage of if someone were brave enough, or knew enough about him so know what a pacifist he was. For a person in need, however, if there is something he can do, he often won't stop to think of the repercussions or situation before doing so. This sometimes lands him in a tight spot, but he'd rather be somewhat inconvenienced than see someone or something suffer.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Large, jade color, with thick dark lashes.
Hair: Very long, waist length, thick, dark brown with a prominent center part. Sometimes worn back in one long, low, braid.
Face: Square face with a strong chin, thick brows, and prominent cheek bones.
Skin Tone: A neutral-tone medium brown.
Body Type: A tall 6'9" with a strongman build - thick and bear-like, with bit of a belly.
Clothes: He isn't typically worried about what he wears. He doesn't get cold easy, so he's the kind of guy to wear shorts year-round. T-shirts with a cutton-up top over it would be typical. A bit of hand-made jewelry is not unheard of. Generally looks pretty well put together.
