Hobbies:-Biking: Jane has a love of moving on her own and being independent and so from a young age, has always been traveling to the store and her friend's homes via her bike. It's just how she gets around, and as she's gotten older and more into being able to get out and spend time on her own, she's needed to invest in her bike, leading her to do bike racing as both a hobby and as her sport of choice. ROAD RACERS NYOOM. (Hime Hime from Yowapedal plays in the distance ala 4th wall)
- Postcard Collecting/Sending: Not from the states, but from her Mom and Dad's international travels, Jane loves seeing the highly doctored images and often sometimes quirky things people will send each other by mail. Plus- getting mail is the bomb. She will send postcards to you over the dumbest events. Just because postcards are fun to get in the mail don't lie to her you like them. She has joined a few social sites for postcard enthusiasts with her mom and dad's permission, and gets some that way as well. Her favorite postcards to send from Destiny City are the satirical ones about the costumed terrorists. Her humor can get pretty dark sometimes. But she stands by that is makes for a catching postcard!
- Reading/Writing Really Bad Fanfictions: She 'breaks the law' and reads illicit fiction of her favorite characters and is '2 edgy'. OH SNAP SHE WROTE ******** IN HER FIC TO MATURE FOR U. She has no idea how actual biology works and thinks herself an expert on romance and writing. She is the typical 14 year old who discovered the M section of AO3. She's just discovered Kill la Kill and One Piece is her jam.
Virtues:Independent -- Jane has lived with the idea and upbringing that if you want something you best do it yourself. She's dedicated to researching new things, taking charge of her own future and working on her own or attempting to lead other should no one take charge. She wants to get things done, and is very much the 'go-getter' in seeking whatever it is she wants.
Passionate -- Her passions vary time to time, but whatever they are, Jane throws and invests her time and effort into them. Hobbies, friendships, projects, research- She likes involvement and knowledge, and truly holds her thinking to heart. When faced with adversity she shows resilience and tenacity, though even she knows that sometimes, it's better to bend than break. Compromise is better than crumbling under pressure after all.
Open Minded -- While she certainly seeks to set herself apart and create her own path, Jane isn't above being given new options or hearing alternative ways. In fact, she rather enjoys contrasts and counterpoints, and wants to be challenged. She's not a know it all, and the only way to learn is by experience and broadening her horizons after all.
Flaws:Independent -- While Jane is self reliant and does do her best to not require the help of others, this can lead her to think that she shouldn't seek help at times, or, that she should be able to do things on her own. Pride is her sin, and she can become wrapped up in proving to herself that she is who she wants to be- strong and self sufficient, even if she is unable to live up to her own self imposed expectation.
Childish -- She's locked into a mindset of needing to be mature, to imposing her own self sustaining image for her own benefit that often when it breaks down, she breaks down, becoming hostile, stubborn, and resorting to less than mature responses and antics. With time she might get herself under control, but ironically, she is still very much a child when confronted with hard truths and realities she might not wish to accept.
Anxious -- For all the attitude and air she puts on, Jane is extremely self conscious, and is terrified of not living up to what she thinks are standard expectations of her. It can cause her to not try new things or back out of others. Her nervousness feeds this aspect of her very deeply, and while she can often muster enough willpower to at least try, if she's shot down hard enough, it's all the more difficult for her to try something again, or try something completely outside of her normal comfort zone.
