Youma were something that haunted her memories. Monsters that when bump in the night, her power could banish them but they came back she realized. They haunted her, hunted her. Tonight was no different. She'd killed a small doglike bug youma and now, she was shaking and scared as she could feel eyes on her skin. Power nearby just out of sight, out of reach. Shaking voice she called out: "Who's there?" She hardly expected an answer, but she refused to let down her guard, not yet, not while her heart pounded in her chest.

Maybe much to her surprise, there was an answer: a lazy female voice, a joking tone; "Friendly neighborhood supergirl - unless you're planning on being up to no good, then we've got a problem." (Anakeion barely stopped herself from being patronizing - the way this girl's voice shook was dangerous. Frightened. A cornered animal. If she didn't watch her words, she'd be in trouble. She was a lot more perceptive than people gave her credit for, anyways. The outfit probably didn't help with perceptions of her intelligence.) Anakeion took an easy step out into the light, hands up, making it clear she had nothing held in her hands or behind her back. "Anakeion Page of Castor's the name."

She swallowed. A woman, order, Spacewatch was still wary and like any scared and angry child, she did not trust easily, if she trust at all. "Depends." She answered with noticible venom in her tone. The past chibi did nothing to hide the malice in her words. She wasn't going to let anyone, not even some knight think she was toothless, not for one second. "And what if I am up to no good. Good is subjective and from my experience, no one is good. Not even knights like you." They were hypocrites and self catering and weak. "Your name is stupidly long. If you have nothing else to say, why don't you go find some stupid civilian to save for all of 30 seconds. I'm sure it'll help your hero ego right?"

"You," Anakeion smiled - small, cautious - "can call me anythin'. I answer to Shithead or ******** too. Gets the point across." She stayed right where she was. "You've seen a lot, huh? ...I haven't seen too much at all. But...you want a coffee or anything? I know it can't make up for what's happened to you, but it's all I can do." Her hands were still up, open; feet together, her posture unlikely to keep her balanced if she was hit. It was all very deliberate on her end, of course. "If you want me to leave, I'll leave. But if there's anythin' I can do..."

The tone- trying to be friendly, trying to be nice. Pity. All Spacewatch took it as was pity and that burned her tongue and pride. She was sick of pity, sick of being seen as something weak and needing to be handled with care. She wasn't wanting pity. "You don't even have a clue." She hissed, fist tightening. "I hate people like you. Oh I can help just a bit I totally get it. No. No you really don't. End of the day you get to go home." Magic crackled around her angry and ready. "You get to go home and be normal again. You can't fix this." A hand went to the open sky, palm raised. "You can't do anything." Spacewatch hated people like this knight, hated them. Because they had everything she wanted. "Comet Crash!" She hated because it was all she had left. Daekie tiny flashbangs fall from sky more at 11

"Ow, ow, s**t," Anakeion snapped, scrambling to the side after the first one or two impacts hit her - she was stronger than she looked, but it was still magic, and being hit by anything wasn't nice at all. "I'm not tryin' to patronize you! I'm trying to help, 'cause I figured you didn't want to talk about it, Jesus!" Her eyes were blurring, her ears ringing. "You don't have to ******** attack me, christ!"

Actually knight, she did. She did because it was also the fault of knights that she was how she was. Where were knights when she needed them? When she'd been alone and hopeless and helpless? Nowhere. Knights were useless in Spacewatch's eyes and she could have cared less what this lady said. "Oh I'm sorry." Spacewatch kept with her snarky and patronizing tone fitting of any young disparaged teen. "Yeah, help me. How? Can you bring back the dead? Can you make everyone forget, can you erase the scars that cover my entire torso?" Almost dead. Thats how they found her- almost dead. "Attacking seems to be the only thing people understand. Pain is the only thing that anyone of us can cause."

Anakeion knew better, she honestly did, but when she was being attacked the first thing she thought of was an exaggerated, shoulder-shaking sigh. "Okay, like -- do you send hate mail to the mayor of Alaska cause they didn't jump in to save your life? It's a big city, kid! It sucks people are dead, and I'm sorry! But you're just going to get ******** killed right along with them if you keep attacking anyone who shows, god forbid, the slightest bit of sympathy!" She cracked her knuckles. Attacking a kid - even if that kid was a teen - was kinda skeezy, but she'd been attacked first, and her ears had almost stopped ringing.

Spacewatch let out a cold biting laugh. To her, it was funny- she was broken. As much as she hated it she knew- she was broken and hateful and wrong. But it was all she knew all she had left. Tears silently ran down her face as she forced out the smile. "It's what deserve." Her head shook as she backed away. "We deserve to die for this- for what we've done." What she had failed to do. She couldn't save people, protect people she Spacewatch did the only thing she knew she could do- Run away.

"It's not your fault, kid - wait - " Anakeion reached out a pleading hand, but Spacewatch had already turned and ran, her few seconds of confusion enough to let the senshi get far enough away she had no hope of catching up (not in these heels, at least). She ground her palm against her forehead, grumbling. "Well, s**t." What kind of person did you even tell about 'rogue kid senshi, probably homeless, probably has PTSD'? Nobody she could think of, and nobody Spacewatch would or could trust. This was kind of ********, honestly, but there was nothing she could do about it. Anakeion shivered in the cold, turned around, and started to head home - Spacewatch's breaking voice still echoing in her mind.
