Havasu, Squire of Pluto

Hav nodded in greeting to the two new senshi who joined them right near the end. He couldn't help but eye the scolding blond who was being pulled along by Chaldene like some kind of toy. Something told the squire that the boy would deeply regret the hand gripping the girl's petite wrist. However before he could say anything both senshi were off following Sabine into the portal leaving Hav to wonder if maybe the guy had chugged a gallon of coffee first.

Again he held off entering the gateway into the negaverse. There were still more in his team that needed to go first. Why did Phact stick him in charge? The squire practically itched to follow after his girlfriend, to stay by her side, and to protect her. Instead he couldn't be... because she told him to watch over the knights. With a mental sigh he watched as Delphi entered the portal. Havasu was at least glad she was coming, her shield would be greatly needed.

Hav nodded at Nirvana's show of support and confidence before the page disappeared into the swirling depths of the gateway. "I know Kastra. He was just messing with you." He smiled at the senshi and couldn't help but snicker at the cat by her side. The cat alone would likely cause more havoc than the whole chaos combined but it would be hilarious to see none the less.

His amusement faded as the last of their group entered the portal. It was finally his turn to walk into the unknown. With a bracing breath he too began his journey into the negaverse, hoping that the way would remain open long enough for him to get everyone out safely.

((Havasu's Exit))

Mlinzi, Guardian Cat

Mel knew it was time to go. The portal was open and everyone was entering it. "Don't worry. I'll protect you." He let out a rumbling purr as Kastra gave him a kiss. Unlike the last time he stuck by her side even as the senshi entered the portal, he didn't even hesitate to follow her in. "To Infinity and Beyond!" He shouted as he galloped into the swirling mass.

((Mlinzi's Exit))

Antares, Senshi of Scorpions

Antares was seething... The only reason Chaldene still had a hold of her wrist and wasn't wreathing on the ground in pain was because she knew him. She knew that he didn't mean anything by it. She knew that it was his way of making sure she followed him and didn't slip away to disappear in the insanity of the meeting. She also knew that once she was no longer a pull toy that the eternal would get a well placed knuckle punch in his arm. That thought was the only thing that kept her from reaching out and forcing his fingers from her wrist, in the most painful way possible.

She kept quiet and allowed Chaldene to drag her through the portal. There was one good thing about the eternal already getting her ire up... she was more then ready for a good fight. Antares couldn't, wouldn't take the pent up rage out on the guy currently tugging her around, but she sure as hell would on any negaverser who had the unfortunate luck to run into her. A rather bloodthirsty grin crossed her face as she entered the portal. Look out world here came Antares.

((Antares' Exit))

Sailor Enif

Of course the senshi of wonder would be curious about the big bad's place of living. Of course she'd be going in to sate curiosity even when danger was rearing it's ugly head. She was curious too, don't get her wrong, this whole senshi thing (once she'd started to accept it) had opened up a world of curiosity that she hadn't previously thought of.

But there was something so wrong about the power from in that portal that pulled her towards it. And it was a great turn off to her curiosity. For once.

Cassiopeia's hand reached back for her own and she took it without hesitation, despite how much she did not want to go in there. Because she would not let her new friend go in there alone. She couldn't do much offensive wise but she would not let her go alone.

And she had a point, Caedus, for all she was unsure of him, had risked a lot doing this. She almost wondered if he even would ever be able to get home after this...

Following Cas, because she had grabbed her hand after all, she tried to give Caedus a winning smile as she passed. They would be back. Hopefully all of them. And then she was gone.

Paris had a crystal. Now. He had a crystal. Had. As in, past tense. Where there was once a crystal there no longer was a crystal. Why? Because put frankly he lost it.
It had been an accident, a legitimate accident that he hadn't foreseen or intended but had happened none the less. For you see, Paris was homeschooled, and his curriculum often consisted of him going to various locations around the state as part of his 'Science class' which was more or less his family's excuse to take weekend camping trips at various places or do weekend getaways.

He wasn't a very smart guy by any stretch of the imagination, so when his parents had told him that hey it was 'feild trip' time he just sort of nodded his head and accepted that without a fuss, not thinking about how maybe, leaving the crystal at home would be a safer thing to do. You know, don't bring it with him, keep it near the city itself, locked away under his bed along with a few things he never wanted his family to find. (Aka that really bad book about how to talk to girls. Which he'd found, was really gross and entirely unhelpful)

But alas no, Paris had thought that he should just take the crystal with him and not let it out of his sight at all. Ever. Which included when he went down to the beach. And when on a boat. A boat that rocked and he was told was very safe. Now Paris being Paris being Max the child of neurotic tendencies had not exactly taken into account that his family was as usual, very convincing when they wanted him to do something. In the case of the trip, they felt it was very important that he go swimming in the ocean and to stop being such a wuss about it.
So that was how Paris on a family trip was accosted by his own family members on a boat, literally tossed into the ocean and left sputtering, utterly unaware that the crystal in his swim trunk pocket had fallen out and been lost all in one brilliant move that could have been avoided had Paris not been so neurotic and paranoid and left it at home.

So when he felt the pull to go speak with Caedus again, Paris felt like someone had dropped a rock in his gut. H'd lost his crystal. Which was probably floating somewhere along the current or, sunk at the bottom of the ocean or worse, eaten by a poor sea animal- Or worst of the worst- eaten by a rare and endangered sea animals which caused it to die and now Paris was responsible for having killed a rare and endangered sea creature.
Paris tried not to think about that. He tried very hard not to think about that. Still he arrived, and as he dropped his crystal off, heard people fight and yell and watched a portal open up he stepped through with a single thought.

That he really hoped he wasn't responsible for some poor animal ending up dead because he'd lost the crystal.
--------------------
As the dust settled and everyone was getting a bit feisty, Mehtab was getting along swimmingly well with the universe all things considered. He had few things that needed tending to, and mostly, those were his plants. The last time he'd seen Caedus it had been when they'd been chilling out, and now, it was time to cast of the chill and go totally nuts. To "Mc Freaking lose his mind' as the memes would go. The fight club had come into the light and now it was time to blow up the IRS. Or something. Mehtab hadn't really ever watched fight club given that it just wasn't his jam. It was sure, against the man but it was ******** up. Mental problems were not edgy. They were problems and needed help and you just didn't fight to fight and it was a brand of crazy that Mehtab wasn't even able to really get behind.

That said, a brand of crazy the young 19 year old could get behind? Wrecking the castle of some leader of the crazy group known as the negaverse who was all about the military and chaos but being about taking from people and it was just wack-o crazy. Not cool, not chill, and after getting his a** beaten up by a few of them he was quite ready to Ollie out for those encounters. However unlike when he was all by himself being a sitting duck, this time he'd be going in a squad. Back up for this throw down beat down, there was power in numbers. Even in protests, numbers mattered.

This was not going to be a peaceful protest however. This was going to be a full blown battle. No holds barred. It was a fight with a set goal. In it to win it, somebody named Metallia was going to die. Sure it was a bit grim dark even for Mehtab's political justice sense but hey, heads had to roll for any reformation. And he was slowly coming to terms with the fact that half the people in the team alien were nuts. Actually as he made his way to the crystal drop party- he was pretty sure everyone was nuts. Mehtab wasn't supposed to be there, and in a way he wasn't. Who stood on the hill was Alphard. Alphard stood on the hill, glittering and sparkling and uncertain as to why they were doing all this.

Everyone seemed to either want to kill or just go in and not kill but do... nothing in terms of a fight? Could they really get healed in under an hour? He Doubted it. If people needed healing they'd need a hospital right? Like okay magic could do a lot but he'd rather trust doctors before weird fellow alien wannabes with his bodily functions. Magic was already weird enough.

Speaking of which, as he dropped off the crystal he couldn't help but wonder just why magic was being given to kids. He wasn't going to think of the moral choices of that really.

Odain watched as everyone walked through the portal. So much had happened within what felt like the past few minutes. Though she knew really it was longer, she pulled her cloak closer to her as she watched people who were talking. There were disagreements, bickering, fighting, some even went so far as to name call. The Cosmos page wasn't even sure what to do. What use would she be?

She was poorly clad, and even sorrier armed. Thinking to her wimpy little starhead arrow. The page shifted as she thought about things she could do if she choose to stay or go. On one hand she could . . . maybe some how call for backup? The other, she could also just go home. It was warm at home, she could sip hot chocolate and read a book or write.

If she went she could help someone if they got hurt as far as making sure their wounds were tended to. She might not have been the best nurse but she knew some first aid. She could also maybe, distract negaverse agents. After all she had very little in the way of clothing and a pointy weapon. She might as well have been a pixie complete with wings. Odain sighed. She could also be dead weight. She had no magic, no real weapon. So what's to say she'd even be able to be of use?

There were others that had chosen to stay, stand with the one that was sending them on their way. Ceadus, could he be trusted what if he was one of those of the negaverse? There was another frown as Odain thought, about her options, "To be a page, is to be in training, right?" She questioned herself rocking a little on her caged heels, "Though, to be a page, in training can also be a damsel in distress. . . " She ushered the thought away, "We're off to a castle, which in itself is very fairy tale like. . . " The page was holding up a hand and looking at it and then to the other which was held further down. "It would be considered a pretty epic quest. . . ."

There was another pause as she thought, "Ah hell. I need the story fodder. Take some creative license with how the story goes and turn it into a fairytale of a princess' court headed directly into war with the neighboring country. . . ." She nodded and sighed, "I'm signing my own death certificate and no one to leave my prized possessions too." With that Odain walked into the portal. . .

Girl scout cookies were to Spacewatch a good limits test. If you ate girl scout cookies and did not want to be evil well, how could you be bad then? Hint- it was impossible. Girl scout cookies purged evil. One could not commit evil if they ate girl scout cookies. They were pretty much made of all things pure and holy and perfect. So to Spacewatch, Caedus was no more evil than well. She was. Once you bonded over cookie eating that was a hard and deep bond right. No talk backs, deal was done and made and it tasted like thin mints.

However at the problem of having grabbed a crystal Spacewatch had procrastinated in actually giving it power. It had just sort of sadly sat in a pillowcase in the back of her closet so her folks wouldn't find it. Along with the dirty yaoi fanfic she printed off a week ago and was spending her late nights ready chapter by chapter and it was really good it was of her new favorite ship and- It was hot. Totally hot though she wasn't sure if guy's butts could do those things she wouldn't question it. Just like how she wasn't about to question just why the crystal made her sleepy when she touched it.
The sleepy bit had been given a warning, though she had wondered why in particular. She figured it was just because she was younger and thus, more prone to wanting to sleep.

Still, she failed to get the dang thing fully charged by the time that she got that weird feeling and vibe from who she assumed was Caedus. As far as she knew, the alien was the only guy around who could pull off the move. Unless there was ANOTHER ALIEN? She'd not get her hopes up. Plus one alien was enough for her. Still, presented with the problem of the not fully charged crystal she was left just with a few options. One was try to charge it herself but she was pretty sure she'd just passout if she did that. The other option was to not show up with it, but that was sketchy and kind of rude. Who knew what they crystal might do if it was 'stolen' from him? She might think him chill, but the crystals were his on load pretty much and when people stole things it could sour things pretty quick. Just why she wasn't thinking the fake it to make plan wasn't very good. Her other plan?
Shove it against her mom's side.

As she later reached the whole gang, she figured her mom passed out on the couch while watching old Once Upon A Time episodes wasn't really any different than normal. This time she was just missing the empty bottle of wine nearby.

So with a charged crystal added to the pile, and hearing so called adults fight over what amounted to nothing, Spacewatch figured out one key fact that night.

Sometimes the easiest solution was really just punching your way through it.

Dallol, Squire of Uranus

”I know.” Dallol shook her head with a roll of her eyes. ”It’s just… exasperating that this is happening. Just when you think that they will wise up enough to put their differences in opinion aside to work together against the common enemy that is the Negaverse.” Just what exactly was the average age of all the senshis and knights who had gathered here after excluding the felines and chibi senshis?

Six?

Sixteen?

Focusing her attention back on the one person who mattered the most to her right here, she nodded with a trace of a devilish smile curling the edge of her lips. ”I’m glad that I have you watching my back. If I didn’t know any better, I think that you’re deliberately holding back on becoming a Squire because you like it when I’m stronger than you so that I have a legit reason to kick your a** around.” It was precisely because of Corinth’s willingness to indulge her whims and fancies, to put up with the obnoxious temper that she had that made what they had between them work. They were a team and they weren’t going anywhere without each other.

Trusting that Corinth wouldn’t be too far behind, she started towards the portal that Caedus had opened for them, stopping briefly to regard the mysterious figure. ”Thank you. For making this possible.” She wasn’t the type to sugarcoat her words when Caedus had already made it known that his days were numbered. The least she could do on her part, was to make this count. Whatever this turned out to be.

If Caedus was still around when this was all over, they could help get him home then.

Super Sailor Denebola

Corvus returned and relief flooded through her. Denebola wouldn't admit it, but she'd been worried that something would happen and her partner would be swept into the portal and she would never know. Obviously that wasn't what had happened but the redhead couldn't help but let out a relieved sigh.

"Hey," she said tiredly, weary smile spread across her mouth.

Celsus slipped out from under her arm and stumbled away, taking a seat in the grass and the dragonfly senshi let him. "They have to be," she replied quietly, settling into the grass where she'd stood.

"I -- I have to have faith that they'll make it back," she admitted, digging her fingers into the cold ground beneath her. Even if the mission failed, she needed to believe that theirs would make it back.

Corinth, Page of Neptune

Corinth just shrugged, to a degree he felt that people would never figure it out, if only because they were too different, but that was a depressing thought so he didn't voice it. Instead, he just shrugged and let out a sigh. "Well hopefully they'll get their acts together someday."

"Damn, you caught me... Totally sandbagging it so you can beat me up," Corinth said with a wry smile before he placed his hand on the small of her back. "Come on, fearless leader - let's go."

He didn't say anything to Caedus, Dallol had said what had needed to be said, instead, he sucked it a breath, and stepped into the portal after Dallol.

Corvus was quiet as she approached the two, unable to make herself return Denebola's smile no matter how much she wanted to at least try. Her teeth worried her lower lip as she remained standing, focusing on the pang of the bite to distract herself from tears of frustration that were stinging her eyes. She didn't make eye contact with Denebola, couldn't, not wanting to give the dragonfly senshi anything more to worry about at the moment.

She had warned Hugbell, as she had intended to, but what of everyone else that hadn't been warned?

If they weren't alright, if they didn't come back -- Her hands clenched into fists, jaw tensing into an angry set that Denebola might have recognized as being similar to the expression she had worn before snapping at Caedus during their meeting with him. No information would ever be enough information to prepare them for something like this. An attack on this scale should have taken weeks of planning, months.

As long as he kept the portal open. As long as they could all make it home...

Irkalla had been watching the proceedings with an air of uncertainty. She knew that staying on this side of the portal was the right decision. She was just still too new to everything to go off half-cocked and yet every person who went through the portal was another potential fighter. Shaking her head the page turned her head away from the lure of just walking through that mystical sphere. Irkalla glanced around at those that had also stayed behind. Of all of the individuals still on the hillside she found her gaze traveling back to the pair she had been briefly associated with. The immediate kinship that she felt towards the pair after briefly speaking to them, did it mean anything? Irkalla sighed and gave herself a small moment to center herself. She definitely was not going through the portal that was for sure. She had millions of questions and perhaps she could get some more answers.

Hyperborea, Knight of Cosmos

Hyperborea took a deep breath, she didn't know what to expect when she went through the portal and she was sort of scared to find out. But now was not the time to be hesitant, she had to be brave and fight. This might be their one chance to end the war or at least deal a serious strike to the Negaverse.

You can do this girl, just remember what you're fighting for.
She told herself as she summoned her staff.

Gripping her staff tighter she went through the portal.

Lysithea looked around the area with a frown on her face. Adria had insisted that she come with him to this. She hadn’t been comfortable with any of this nonsense with Caedus from the beginning…and being back here with such a large group, with everything happening at once and talk of invading the Rift and talk of getting back at the Negaverse…it was just too much negativity…or Negativity, if you wanted to be clever. Sometimes she liked being clever. The super senshi stayed quiet, her hand gently gripping the transparent scarf that hung from the senshi of sunset’s fuku, keeping the same worried expression on her face as everyone threw out their opinions about everything. It was honestly so very hard to focus and not be too distracted with the jabber.

Why did they all feel the need to do that? Why didn’t they all just stop talking…just close their mouths and open their ears…Caedus, while being a strange thing…he was the one running this show. Not that knight over there, nor the other knight…nor the senshi who thought they were the ones that had the answers.

They didn’t. Caedus did. Caedus was the one who was given the tools and the power to do something like this. If they had had the power, if they thought they were such hot stuff, why hadn’t they opened a path to the Rift themselves? Why did they only do this when suddenly an opportunity appeared…this was something that should have everyone unified, and instead it had turned into a contest of who should be in charge of everything and everyone. Instead of being a thing that would maybe do something for their side…it had turned into a ‘my horse is bigger than your horse, bow to me loser’, type of deal.

Finally Lysithea had enough and she sighed, giving Adria’s fuku a soft little tug. At least he seemed to be busy with Cassie and Enif, so that was good…well, it was less sucky at the very least…

But…She didn’t want to attack the Negaverse like this. Especially after what other members of her faction had done to them so recently…it just seemed…dirty. Cowardly. Like they were attacking a sleeping lion or something…sure they could be deadly and awful but…

But this didn’t seem as though it held any honor at all, and she wanted no part of it. She hadn’t helped with draining any energy and she let the small crystal that Caedus had given her drop to the ground, unable to reach the strange man to give it back when everyone else did.

“I’ll see you after all of this is over, Adria…stay with Cassie and Enif, I’m sure you’ll be okay…I don’t…I don’t want to be here anymore, I’m sorry.” The words were soft, and she gave a nod to both Cassiopeia and Enif before turning on her heel and disappearing into the night. No, this wasn’t for her. Not now. Not when she was still half questioning things…not when she had so many people to live for and protect. Maybe if this had happened a year ago, sure. Maybe in the future if they got this chance again…sure…

But not now.
