Being angry was hard. You had to hate and let it fester and sour you. It grew inside you until it came forth in hard words and hot tears. Months now since she'd lost everything, and Spacewatch still powered up. She fought not for anyone. She fought for the sake of fighting, for wishing that she might get unlucky, that she might also- Tonight she felt someone dark, and as mary janes clattered on wet payment the cold air didn't bother her. Fighting would warm her just fine. When the chaos afflicted came into view, she hissed at them, eyes focused and rage in her like a viper coiled to strike, Spacewatch gave no warning had no hesitancy as she called out her attack. "Comet Crash!"

Order people, in Asmo's experience, weren't much of a threat - they didn't generally fight her, and she was usually content to leave them alone, which was....probably not the best mindset for a loyal soldier of Chaos.
So to say she was surprised to suddenly have bright magic lights raining down on her would be rather an understatement. She yelped and threw an arm up, but it didn't do much to shield her.
"What the <********>" She snapped, closing her eyes to attempt to protect them from the bright flash. There was no way for her to aim or target an attack in response, so the best she could do was aim in the general direction of where she thought the voice had come from and hope they were in range.
"Flames of Phlegethos!" She declared, sweeping her fingers along her arm like striking a match and letting the fire of her attack fly.

Spacewatch's face was a cold scowl of fury as the woman cursed. Her own fists were curled and she hoped it hurt. Hoped it hurt real bad, just how bad she hurt every single day she thought about the rift, her parents, everything. Spacewatch wanted it to hurt. But what she didn't expect was getting hurt in turn, yelping as she was forced back, holding up own arms to try and escape. Pain gave and pain received, she coughed and sputtered on the ground where she'd fallen down from surprise and ********-" She used to never curse. "******** you you traitor."

Asmodeus shook her head, vision finally clearing a little, and started walking towards the ring of fire created by her magic. "******** me? Look, you sack of s**t, you attacked me first, ********, and you want to call me a traitor?" She snarled. <******** ******** you!" That was absolutely ridiculous. This whole thing was ridiculous. This...this kid was going to attack her and screech at her when she responded in kind? No, that was not on, and she was fully prepared to throw down in order to show exactly how not on all of this was.

The smell of single clung to her nostrils as she regrouped, refocused, and reassessed what was happening. Attacking first had seemed like a good idea in theory. Get them before they got you. But as it were, that was not the brightest thing to do when you lacked a plan past attack. You just got magic thrown right back at you not to mention that it pissed your target off something fierce. Still, Spacewatch's anger at chaos was deep, and the idea that senshi were willing to join them, to be allies with cold blooded monsters who would kill innocent people for no reason other than existing. To kill the loved one of an enemy- one who had just wanted to be left alone- "Senshi aren't supposed to be evil!" She screamed. All of chaos was evil. It didn't matter where it had come from it had to stopped. Standing, arms up- The fourteen year old had gotten herself into this mess, she'd get herself out. "And that's what you are."

Asmodeus winced. It was true, wasn't it, deep down? She wasn't supposed to be Chaos - she was only Chaos because she'd gone chasing half-thought of memories from an alternate future. She was Mirror because her destiny was to be Mirror, but...did it have to be?
She took a breath.
"Maybe I am, but I'm not doing anything to anybody right now, and you attacked me. For no reason other than I'm Chaos. That's not exactly super good, is it?" She barely bit off a crack about dinging alignments, because...not the time.
"When my magic finishes, I'm not gonna attack you, you can just -- go. And we'll part as unlikely people who had a civil discussion. Or you can fight me, and everything goes bad."
She didn't want to hurt an angry kid.

Lips pouted as she listened and heard and judged. Right now? But what about later? Chaos was chaos and it was bound to do the evils that she'd seen before. "I don't want to be good. Being good got me nothing." Nothing but almost dead. Being good got her homeless and nameless. Being good had killed her parents. "I stopped trying to be good-" She raised her fist skyward once more magic crackling in the air, "-But I refuse to be evil like you!" Noir Songbird someone put this kid on debate tam amirite

Asmodeus shook her head slowly, watching as her magic finally rippled away, but she didn't move to defend herself. She would, if she had to, of course, but she wanted to present as nonthreatening a front as she could. This wasn't, after all, some horrible Negaverse monster, this was a frightened child who clearly had a whole hell of a lot of issues to work out, but that wasn't a crime in and of itself, not really.
"I don't want to make you like me," she said, taking a step back to put a little space between them. "I don't even always want to be like me." Because sometimes the Mirror's refusal to stand up to the Negaverse made her so angry...
"Look, kid. You've obviously been through some s**t. But that doesn't make it fair for you to take it out on me."

Spacewatch snarled at the senshi as the magic died. "Then maybe you should stop helping the enemy." Hate wouldn't leave the girls eyes as she backed away. Her magic was nearly gone, and fire was dangerous to toy with. "All is fair in war isn't it? They, chaos, killed and took my entire life from me." A bird flew up from one small fist. "You're just as evil as the rest of them." Turning tail, she darted off into the night, not wanting to feel the burn of her own helplessness any longer.
