The tiny chibi had a few questions for this strange alien, and most of them revolved around biology and space. Namely, WHERE THERE OTHERS? WHAT IS SPACE LIKE? DO YOU HAVE FAMILY? Dumb things, but for Spacewatch, they were all the important questions. She had a plan of attack too. Some girlscout cookies, (Thin Mints, Samoas, and treifoils one boc of each to be exact), along with a thing of cold 2% milks, red solo cups, some paper napkins she grabbed from a McDonalds on her way to the sight, and, for extra precaution, and EpiPen. Because she had no idea if aliens could be allergic to anything. The tiny senshi figured bribery was the way to go, and if this alien disliked girl scout cookies well. Well. Obvious they were evil and now that would hardly do. So that was how, just a bit after 4 in the afternoon, Spacewatch was at the hill looking quite determined. "HEY. HEY CADIUMS. CAD- CAS- SHOOT, ALIEN MAN." Close enough. "I GOT YOU COOKIES, SO COME OUT PLEASE."

For a moment, the only thing that moved on the hill was that which moved by way of wind. The leaves, the grass, the tiny little flowers trying to survive amidst the cold. But no person, alien or otherwise, appeared for a small bit of time. When Caedus roused himself—because, he did sleep, in his nest of blankets and bedding in the grove of trees in the distance—it was not quickly. Her voice had awakened him almost immediately, but getting up was another story. Caedus appeared between two trees a moment later, looking tired but alert. "You have chosen an odd time to arrive," he said, voice a little more gravely than it had been at the meeting. "Most senshi come when the sun sets. Is there an emergency?"

To Spacewatch, there was no better time. Well, that and it was hard to sneak out. Really hard. Being a teenager was hard. Sigh, no one understood. "Look space cowboy." She started. "I got a curfew and my mom almost found out I was not at a sleep over. So I can't risk my cover getting blown like that. Plus, I don't like the dark." Not that she was scared of it or anything. What with aliens and monsters and all. "But no! I came with a trade right? I wanna know about aliens. You, but mostly aliens? I brought girl scout cookies!" She showed him her choices. "The thin mints are warm though, I forgot to put them in the frezer before I came." She sounded disappointed because now what could she do to fix it? Caedus wouldn't know the magic that was frozen thin mints. "But I did bring milk- just hope you like 2%." She started to set up the sudden impromptu picnic almost tea party like set up of milk and cookies. This would be a very serious talk. Hence making sure that she offered to pour Caedus his milk first. It was only polite.

Caedus observed her, head bowed as he looked down at her. He was standing a bit straighter than he had at the meeting, but he was nowhere near what could have been his full height. "…Yes," he said after a moment, though his actual understanding of whatever it was she was talking about was dubious, at best. But, it was free food, in exchange for information about aliens—of which, he had much he could provide. He moved towards her at a slower pace, curious but hesitant. "You seem to have a lot of energy," he noted, squinting his eyes a bit. He reached up one hand to rub at them and then cleared his throat. "But I will try to keep up with you. And your questions."

Spacewatch was determined to show at the very least, the magic that was girl scout cookies. "Yeah well, I'm 14." She muttered. "Not super old and I might have eaten a few trefoils on my way here. They're too good." She offered him his glass of milk before setting herself down and breaking open a box of the thin mints. Hit em hard and fast with the most addictive of all. "So- um." She looked at him eyes wide and expectant. "What was it like back then? Traveling and living in space? Any different than earth?"

Caedus cocked his head to the side; he picked up the glass of milk and sipped at it. He'd chugged half the glass in a matter of seconds and seemed to have to pry it away from his face. He reached up a hand to wipe at what must have been his mouth before he spoke again. "It was amazing. Entirely different from Earth. Your planet is so green, and so full of life. Ours is full of what we imported, but plants do not grow freely as they do here. Everything had a specific place, a specific order. Everything was where it needed to be on my homeworld. Traveling space was unique. I must have visited hundreds of places. Each one had something unique. I collected crystals from them. Sometimes they were for science. Sometimes I just liked to look at them." He shrugged, almost sheepishly. "Living in space…you are living in space as well, you know. Though, I suppose you have not had the same opportunity to explore it. Not in this lifetime, at least. But I hope you will have the experience. There is nothing quite like stepping foot on a new planet."

Spacewatch listened in ernest. Marveling at how much he chrugged milk, offering to refill his glass- with a slight admonishment. "You dunk your cookies." Holding up a think me she showed him the 'correct process'. "I mean, glad you like calcium but you should respect our customs. Which totally includes cookie dunking." She nibbled on her thin mint. "But your home sounds really cool. I dunno if we have any fancy crystals here. I mean, diamonds but apparently there is a planet made of diamonds in space? It was on the news." She kept eating her cookie. "Mmm.." She gave a shrug. "What kind of plants did you have? Flowers, fruits? My dad says that what makes a place memorable are it's flowers, and it's food." She grinned. "But I bet girl scout cookies still gonna blow your mind."

"Oh. I apologize. I did not mean to offend," Caedus said, watching her cookie dunking procedure. He mimicked it carefully, seeming to apply all his focus on dunking his cookie, and nibbling it, in the exact same fashion as she had. She was entirely correct: they blew his mind. He stopped breathing for a moment, just savoring the taste, and when he exhaled it was slow and euphoric. "These are wonderful. I wish we had these on my homeworld. We did not have natural plants. We built our homeworld, so we had to import everything. We had flowers, and fruits, and trees. But to exist on my homeworld, they had to have a purpose. The trees provided us with the atmosphere conditions we needed to breathe without modified apparatus. Flowers were edible or medicinal, as were other plans we imported and maintained. Fruits were the same. And vegetables. We created hybrids of each. Genetically modified to fit our needs."

She smiled, teeth showing and mouth wide as he looked like she'd just sown him something really amazing. Because she had. That was the magic of thin mints. "Right? I can sell you some boxes you know. They are a bit expensive but soooo worth it." She finished off her cookie before going to the next one, nibbling off a part so the milt could soak into the cookie proper-like. "You built your world though? Out of what?" She could only imagine build a world. That must have been difficult to say the least. "So like, wait- did someone make YOU? Like, gene splicing and and robot parts?" She was very interested. " You a lizard person?" It would be so cool if he was.

"I—what?" he asked, seeming a bit surprised. "Lizard? Do you have lizard people here?" Slowly, his head cocked to the side and though the shadows of his hood concealed most of his expression, it was clear that his eyes had narrowed in thought. He confessed, "I would not describe myself as a lizard person, but I also do not know what that entails. It is easier to answer your other question. My world was constructed out of everything. We started with what materials we could get our hands on, but as we grew and expanded we improved. Mostly we rely on technology, and important plants. And crystals." He was indulging in another Thin Mint. "Crystals are necessary to regulate our living conditions. They are capable of doing so much. Coupled with our technology, we have made incredible progress with synthetic life and construction."

Caedus was clearly in need of help. Poor guy had been trapped, and he didn't know what lizard people were. "No! They're just in movies and book and some games. They have scales, claws, tails and some have double eyelids! We have cat people though? From uh- wherever they come from. But we have cat people!" Personally she was more a dog person, but so far, no signs of werewolves. "That's cool though." Another dunk and bite, pausing to chew as a look of bliss crossed her face. Thin mints really were the best. "Your world being made of a bunch of stuff. Synthetic life though, you mean robots? Artificial Intelligence? We have that too!" She reached for her phone before she remembered she only had the senshi one. "Hrm. Was going to show you a video. But yeah! What kinda of life did you make." She was smiling. She hoped it was giant robots.

Caedus' eyes narrowed a bit in thought. "Ah," he said after a moment of trying to imagine her description. Finally, he just nodded and concluded, "Interesting," before he helped himself to another cookie. He was careful to dip it and then eat it before answering her question, "The planet was the only successful life we ever made. Synthetically, I mean. And even then, it is not truly alive. It does not think or feel. But it exists, and it thrives in an ecosystem we imposed. It is growing each day. We are careful to maintain it. We do not want anything to get out of hand. But we have some artificial intelligence. Our computers were programmed to run certain tasks. But," he shook his head. "We always double checked. We crafted them to partake in undesirable tasks, but we were always careful to maintain a very specific balance. It is easy to become…overzealous. We did not want to create anything we could not manage."

She stared back at him before asking perhaps the most rude and invasive question she had ever asked anyone in her life. "So then wait- how did you guys have babies then?" It was a question that was innocent enough but to Spacewatch it was just logical. "If the planet was only life you made- you did kind of avoid my previous question." She eyeballed him. "Your world sounds like its all hyper mecha mecha and you might be a-" She gasped as if she thought of the answer herself. "Are you a ghost possessing a body? Is that why you had to make life and stuff?"

Caedus stared at the girl for a moment. The first question did not register as invasive, but he seemed more confused with being referred to as a ghost. "…Is that slang?" he asked after a tentative moment. "…If you are asking if I am dead, no. I am alive. I have a pulse, last I checked." He reached a hand up to his neck and gazed off to the side for a moment before nodding. "My heart still beats." He adjusted his position. "We had to make life to take back our own. My species was not granted the most glorious history. Our planet—our true planet—was not our own. We needed one for us to survive. We are capable of procreation, when the mood strikes. I do not know that it differs greatly from Earth's process, but I am a little out of date with the mechanics." Caedus tilted his head. "Does this planet appreciate your imagination?"

Spacewatch made a very unladylike fart sound with her mouth. "Pffft. No. Everybody here thinks kids- er- adults like me don't know diddly. But we know more than they think we do. I mean, " She smirked, "I know all the codes and hotkeys in Microsoft words. How many so called 'adults' can say that? Half of em can't even USE it." She threw her arms in the air before filling their cups back up with the last of the milk. "What happened to your true planet? Other aliens invade you guys?" Aliens attacking aliens was how the plots of star trek happened. Maybe it was a real thing after all. "It must have sucked to not have had a home."
