How many night did she spend laying down in little corners, waiting, watching, biding her time? Too many. Spacewatch was a bitter child, a teenager trapped in a city she loathed and wanted nothing to do with, wanted no part in saving. She had fought her own demons, why did she have to fight others.? Sneering as she felt the looming power of another individual close by she moved from the spot under the highway overpass, gold eyes trying to find the source of the one who'd perhaps followed her. She was itching for confrontation, and the idea she could maybe use the highway as its own weapon churned in her mind. A dark thought she was slightly scared to admit was her own.

This was not, to be fair, the corner of town Juliet often found herself in -- but she'd been tasked to go on a late-night delivery by a classmate, and she was hardly one to say no. And it seemed safer overall, nowadays, for her to be slightly more resilient and with her identity masked; if anything terrible happened, she would just be someone else. Someone - Well. Nothing terrible ever really happened to her. Other people, perhaps, but she was free from those sort of troubles; and because Juliet was not particularly talented with noticing things, she had no idea Spacewatch was nearby. Her heels clicked across the ground.

The echo of a lone truck driving overhead as Spacewatch finally caught sight of the source of energy nearby. It was another senshi of all things and her stomach churned. Black Mirror? Dark Mirror? Whatever. She didn't care. She couldn't, because all she took away was that they were not order. They were chaos and thus, couldn't, shouldn't be trusted. Anger flowing in her veins, the senshi darted out from her hiding place towards the older woman, a tiny fist seeking to land on the unsuspecting woman who was simply powered as she was.

Juliet was, in no sense or fashion, formidable -- she was under five foot, pale and frail, with thin wrists and bird-like bones and glassy eyes. At her most dangerous, she might have been unnerving, but that was all. She was hardly the most mindful of girls, too: so it was hardly a surprise when Spacewatch's fist connected with her side, and Juliet stumbled, crying out in surprise. Even in that, she was oddly quiet, more an exhale than anything.

Spacewatch was all coiled muscle, tense and ready to spring. Having gotten the drop on the chaos senshi? The tiny fighter did not stop. Kicking, fighting, cursing and even trying to bite like a very crazy child. She was intent on causing pain and harm, intent on hurting, damaging, scaring- she was hateful. Spite was her answer on why she still lived, and as she fought like her life depending on it, she only stopped when she realize that the other was not yet using their magic, not yet fully fighting. Spacewatch wasn't used to that, and it unnerved her in a way she'd not anticipated.

Spacewatch was coiled muscle and Juliet was fragile - bruises were already blooming on her skin from the younger girl's attacks, quiet whimpers coming from her mouth as she withstood the assault - and throughout it all, she only tried to push Spacewatch away, didn't ever try to hit her back or close her fists or even call her magic - she just tried to push the other off of her, because she'd been knocked to the ground and all the wind had gone out of her. Her lip was bleeding and her tiara was askew. "I don't want to die," she pleaded, and notably didn't complain about the pain. iStoleYurVamps whaps spacewatch with a newspaper

This was- it wasn’t supposed to be this way. Spacewatch was used to people fighting back, used to people who charged at her head first, fighting with each breath. Weapons and magic done in grand ways seeking her out to make her cry and bleed and die. She was used to violence and death. Aggression paid it forward, and so this senshi of chaos, this dark mirror to have done nothing by way of fighting? No magic attack, no fists or claws or teeth- It was wrong. For the first time, Spacewatch felt like the villain. The cruel killer who’d stolen everything from her. And now here she was inflicting pain on one who was begging to be left alive. To be left alone. Her hands shook as she looked at her victim. This was wrong. She had been the monster and- No. It was wrong. Chaos was just messing with her, a ploy, a trap. Backing away, a confused look of terror on her face, Spacewatch started to run. She said nothing to the other senshi. How could she? It was all an act It had to be.

"Wait," Juliet called - with shaking hands, she incanted her magic, and the area around her grew cold and white. She reached up, delicately, and readjusted her tiara; wiped the blood from her mouth, wiped the dirt off her knees. It was hard to see her face through the snow, but she didn't seem angry or upset, now that Spacewatch was off of her: just accepting. Calm. Quiet. She took no move towards the younger girl. "You can attack me, if you like. I was startled. I apologize." She was oddly sweet about it, the voice you would keep when you rocked a child to sleep; gentle. "In my duties, I've harmed others. Recompense is only to be expected."
