Hobbies--->____Ballroom Dancing: Take a step back, Elegancia's on the dancefloor! Although she's not professional level, she enjoys waltzing around in billowing gowns and having people watch her while doing so. Elegancia loves other styles of dancing, too, but refuses to participate in the more vulgar ones.
____Romance Stories: Elegancia has an extreme passion for dimestore romance novels, giving her an idealistic notion of love. As such, Elegancia acts like one of the heroines in her novels when she believes she's in love, passionate scenes of intimacy and heaving bosoms aside. She becomes selfless and pleasant, she'll hum the love theme of romeo & juliet whilst bathing herself, and adopts a "love-conquers-all" concept of life. If you want to catch her when she's on this pleasant high, take her to see a good romance movie.
____Primping: Beauty takes priority over many things in Elegancia's life, including 'trivial' things like eating and sleeping. If she'll pack the pounds on from eating something, forget it, she'll starve herself to keep her girlish figure. She has to sleep on a futon? Her posture will be off the next morning! So, uhm, no she'll just stay up and apply makeup over the bags in the morning. It takes a lot of time and money to look as pretty as Elegancia does! Many hours of primping and constant upkeep thereafter occupy most of her time, because she'd rather die than find a misplaced strand of hair.
Virtues---> ____Proper: In order to avoid social disaster and maintain an image of perfection, Elegancia ensures that her manners and appearance are beyond reproach at all times. She is courteous and polite not only because it makes her look good, but because it is demanded of her by her father. Elegancia's fancy pinky exemplifies this elegant quality, but she will not hesitate to talk you down should you insult or act better than her. The only other time she says uncouth things without provocation is when she doesn't get her way, but these moments are few and far between. She would never do so in front of Father, though!
____Philanthropic: Though not in the traditional sense of the word. Elegancia is always on the look-out for what she deems to be a 'charity-case,' that is, hideously dressed boys and girls. She has a very frequent habit of buying outfits for others, and not the cheap stuff, either-- only name-brand and designer labels for the poor, fashion-inept souls! It's almost like her duty to society, a 'grand contribution' if you will, to happily offer fellow shoppers fashion advice, makeup tips, and to inform of where great sales are each week. This works especially well for Elegancia since it makes her look like a good little girl, and she has the money to pull it all off.
____Strong-Willed: Beneath the expensive outfits and flawlessly applied makeup lies a very, very resolute young lady. This carries over into all aspects of Elegancia's life, including schoolwork, family issues, and any other obligations that may come up. Elegancia once signed up for choir (she is not that great of a singer, though she would never admit that!), but even when the whole class wanted her gone, she stayed the entire semester. She may not be the greatest at everything she does, but she'll see everything through that she puts on her plate.
Flaws---> ____Sheltered: Elegancia's life has been similar to Rapunzel's: princess-like but locked up away from society. She knows that there's a much bigger world than her own, but doesn't really think of it. Father's made sure that Sugarplum has never had to willingly lift a finger, and to keep all the harsh intricacies of the working world away from her eyes. This often means that around other kids her age, who have been exposed to slang terms and other less-than-savory aspects of life, she lacks common knowledge and street smarts. But because of her sheltered upbringing of self-importance and entitlement, Elegancia believes her thoughts and opinions are the be-all-end-all to everyone else's.
____Condescending: Look, Elegancia understands why you're so jealous of her-- she comes from good money and genes, after all-- but you need to know your place in today's society. Those she deems 'beneath her' (which encompasses many, but specifically poor people or those who treat her with the same rotten attitude she shows them) are treated with a snobby, rude mouth, and a mean-spirited attitude. Although she's undeniably attractive, she almost always appears to have a scowl on her face and constantly looks as if she's on the lookout for something to hate, like an evil owl. Remember, you'll never be as perfect as she is, because she is the epitome of everything that is perfect.
____Spoiled: Imagine everything you didn't have (but wanted!) as a child. Well, Elegancia had three of them, and probably threw them out at some point without a second thought. Every luxury fathomable was at her disposal from the moment she was born, and if it wasn't readily available, her father made sure that none of the hired help slept until it was. This resulted in Elegancia becoming very self-entitled and uncouth if something did not go her way in the slightest way. If she asks you to do something, you had
better do it, or you'll be sorry! (Not really, since she'll do little else than hate you. Forever.)
