What a fine specimen of a man! Indeed, it wasn't often that Elegancia came across a man who could figuratively 'float her boat,' as more often than not, boys proved to be pigs. This isn't to say that when a toned and tan stud walked past her she didn't appreciate his boyish charms, but she was typically repulsed by their dog-like ways.
But this one? He seemed to have this certain... allure? She couldn't put her finger on it, but never before had the brunette felt compelled to go out of her way to talk to a boy. Men needed to be men, and it was only proper for them to court a lady. It was unbecoming of a lady to make the first move, so she typically spent her days alone. But no more-- Elegancia decided to make a move. She traipsed over to the boy, making the most sultry face she could manage, swiveling her hips, letting her copper brown bangs frame her flawless face.
"Excuse me," she began, "but could you direct me to... to..." Elegancia looked around the store frantically, trying to think of an excuse for conversation, "to where it is that you normally get your hair product?" That wasn't so hard! Elegancia smirked smugly, feeling rather proud of herself. What guy didn't like to be blindly complimented? Up close, though, the boy seemed rather different. If she could just put her finger on it... "Well? Can you?"

This shopping center was pretty well out of the way of the normal Meadowview student after-school and weekend haunts. Hell, there were rarely any high school students here at all, save for what appeared to be the occasional Crystal girl and some snooty-looking boys from that high-tech boarding school near this area. In other words -- this was clear on the other side of town, and that Janice was counting on that to minimize the chance she'd run into anyone who knew her.
So, as far as all the strangers here were concerned, the handsome hipsterish-looking person in a piano tie wandering through the place in search of a coffee shop was a he. And God forbid Audrey Collins turn up out of nowhere and screw that up.
It was a stroke of luck that he didn't outright jump and make a fool out of himself when someone -- a girl approached him with an incredibly awkward social advance. In response, he glanced away for a second, held up a hand to his lips, cleared his throat, and said, "I'm not really wearing anything in my hair besides some kind of cheap spray. Do you know where I can get a cup of coffee around here?"

"Oh, don't be so modest." Elegancia stretched her arms downward, letting her auburn hair waterfall down and frame her face. She then flipped her hair back dramatically, adjusting any locks that may have been misplaced thereafter. "Trust me, I know quality, and whatever you put in your hair is nice." It was time to change the subject-- enough about product, who cared about that anyway? Elegancia certainly didn't! "Coffee? Uhm, well, I don't know any nice places," she paused, thinking of the Corner Bistro, "but there's a smoothie bar not too far from here? Here, I'll show you."
Perhaps in the most provocative move she had ever done in her life, Elegancia took one of Janice's hands into her own and guided her down the hall. It may have been pathetic that, on one hand, this was the most vulgar thing she had done at the age of 19, but on the other, others may have figuratively 'let themselves go' at a young age. Strangely, though, the boy's hands were rather soft and small. "Huh. And you say you use cheap spray-- you must use fabulous lotion to have such nice hands! What brand do you use?"
