A slender, alabaster-white leg dangled from a lone tree. Beneath the tree stood a four-legged youma, canine in appearance with yellow teeth and glaring red eyes-- it was trying to get the slender leg, for to the creature's poor vision, it seemed as if the white leg were a miscolored (yet delicious) bone.
The leg belonged to none other than the golden-streaked Sailor Soldier of Wealth, Sailor Rosalind.
How exactly had she found herself in such a predicament? Easy-- the soldier let her guard down. She was used to the strange, gelatinous variety of youma, the slow-moving ones. But this one was different, for it was quick, tangible, and ferocious.
"A-ack, get away, you foul beast," Sailor Rosalind called out while swatting her hand towards it, "I don't want to have to bounce you like a bad check!!" Rosalind pulled her leg up and scaled the tree to the very tip-top.
The part where it was unstable-- but she was desperate. Unbeknownst to the scout, the branch she stood on began to snap. The youma waited eagerly.
Was Sailor Rosalind going to meet her fate at the hands of a canine youma?!

Had she been more timely in her return trip home...Sailor MuCephi might have missed this predicament entirely. She really rather disliked being late, she preferred to make it a habit to be anywhere she was off to early in point of fact. As luck would have it though, while she might have been late to her intended destination, she was 'right on time' to lend at least a little hand to the unfortunately treed Sailor of wealth.
"BLOOD RIBBONS!" was the first announcing cry of her presence. and thin strands of red lashed out of the low light of the lamp lit evening towards the Yoma Hound. "BAD dog..." She followed with a half hearted attempt at a clever quip. Her heart wasn't wholly in it though and she didn't fancy herself to be good at such things. Still, if there was one thing she was determined to be 'better at' it was defending both herself and others. This was the best opportunity she had to try in some time.

Rosalind stared in what could only be described as a mixture of awe and disgust, the bloody attack zooming towards the youma. An attack such as this scout's had never been seen before, but then again, Rosalind hadn't seen very many different attacks before. At any rate, the Soldier of Wealth felt as nothing more than an onlooker-- she didn't like it.
A golden pump took a step down towards the ground, but unfortunately, it was a misstep. The minty green-colored scout snapped the branch that served as her support, and she took an extreme plummet towards the ground. Fortunately, however, the scout landed on her feet.
The youma was still in a state of pain and recoil, granting enough time for Rosalind to ask the other soldier, "who are you?" She may have sounded slightly accusatory, but she couldn't be too sure about who was who anymore.

The young woman whom had cast the attack drew her hand back and snapped the thin red threads forward again to try and keep the Yoma reeling as she spoke.
"Sail... Super Sailor MuCephei" She said correcting herself, a little too new at 'super' to remember to introduce herself as such. She paused too before admitting what she was senshi of, the look on the other young woman's face already said she was less than impressed by the nature of her attacks. "Senshi of Blood..." She finished standing as proud as she could. It was not as though she chose it herself. "Who are you if you don't mind... not that this is perhaps the best time for introductions but I am curious." The elaborate clothing almost suggested a party goer more than a senshi but certain 'elements' were there. The enormous bow, white 'top' with a colored drape... was she a senshi then? Or was it simply coincidence?

Super Sailor MuCephei?? That was new.
"Well, Super Sailor MuCephei," Rosalind started, "it is a pleasure to meet such a lovely sailor soldier." She proceeded to curtsy slightly, not wanting to preen completely-- the youma could have struck at any moment!
The brunette scout just had to respect MuCephei-- not only was she sophisticated and graceful (the epitome of what Rosalind believe a scout should be), but she was Super!! That meant that, not only was she the aforementioned things, but she also kicked a lot of youma-butt.
"But, you know," Rosalind started once more, trying to think of the proper words in which not to offend, "blood is such a... unique sphere, is it not?" She was, to be completely honest, disgusted at the thought-- blood made Rosalind weak in the knees.
"Anyways, I am Sailor Rosalind, the pretty-suited Sailor Soldier of Wealth." She struck her sassy hand-on-hip pose and then took a defensive stance, for the youma began to stir once more-- this time with eyes on both scouts.
Who would it go after first?

"Wealth is unique as well!" MuCephei assured her, and then realized it may have just been a polite way to say 'disgusting'. "Though... blood not perhaps being what I might have chosen had I a say..." she added carefully and moved one hand towards her brooch preparing for the next strike. "Have you been at this long?" She added trying to get a feel for the young woman's own battle prowess.
"Are... your attacks ranged or...close up?" She added quickly trying to assess if she should summon the bloody threads again or hazard the slightly less damaging needles. At least she was getting better aim with the needles though... the first few times she had used them most of them missed their targets completely.

"Why, yes, it is a unique sphere," Rosalind said, and then added, "thank you for noticing!" She said this with a cheerful inflection in her voice, something completely out of the norm.
"My... attack is, well," she trailed off, "it's all over the place." Rosalind did not have control over her attack-- coins just shot down out of the sky for a few seconds, but it did not discriminate in whom it hit. The Soldier of Wealth had been pelted with her own coins a time or two, and would just die if a comrade (especially a superior one, no less) were to be hurt by it!
"I can't really control it-- even though I've been a sailor scout for about three months now." There was a tone in her voice that seemed almost ashamed somewhere in there.
As she explained herself, though, the youma darted towards Rosalind, who had let her guard down. It swiped a massive claw into the scout's back, but luckily got a clawful of poofy fabric from her skirt.
Rosalind recoiled backwards and stood next to MuCephei. "Would you like me to attack?" She asked, not wanting to catch the other soldier by surprise-- she wanted her to be prepared.

"AH!..." Mucephei said in alarm, relieved that the Yoma caught only a clawfull of skirt, her gloved finger tapped at the side of her brooch and then swung free again as she cried out "BAD BLOOD!" From her finger tip flew a flurry of small red needles that peppered the unfortunate Yuma's face making it Yelp and paw at them like it had tangled with an irate hedgehog.
"Oh! please feel free!" Nodded MuCephei...part curious and well, perhaps a little afraid to see what "All over the place" meant in terms of an attack. "Should... I cover us heading to cover or will we be...relatively safe?"

The youma did some flips and tumbles around the area as the pain spread through its long snout-- MuCephei really knew what she was doing. Rosalind tugged at what was once the back of her skirt-- luckily, she had an extra layer of fabric over her skirt, so there were no panties to be shown.
She would have died.
Rosalind thought about what would be best, and told the Soldier of Blood to be prepared to shield herself. At the Super Soldier's okay, Rosalind snapped her fingers and shouted her magical incantation, "Sterling Silver VOLLEY!!!"
The sky began to be filled with silver glimmers, like tiny shooting stars-- and then they began to pelt the ground. Coins poured upon the youma, a coin striking Rosalind once or twice-- she hoped none of them would strike her newfound partner.
"I think it's almost done, I mean, I think it's almost dusted!!" Rosalind exclaimed while sidestepping a few coins, looking graceful all the while.
Or trying to, atleast.

"Well done!" MuCephi said enthused and put her fingers back to that blood red stone again before sweeping her hand out again and crying "BLOOD RIBBONS!" The 'ribbons' unfurled from her finger tips, slender and bright to lash like razors across the yoma which let out a ghastly howl. A few coins had indeed pelted down on MuCephi, they hurt but there had been worse before, besides, what were a few welts when it could have clawed them to pieces. She spun and flicked the thin ribbons around like a whip to strike it once more intending to dust the creature and praying she had even some of the grace her partner seemed to.

The coin shower had stopped by now, the seeming 'shooting coin stars' ceasing to cascade from the sky. Rosalind watched as the Soldier of Blood attacked once more-- she was relentless in dusting the youma. MuCephei was a fabulous role model for Sailor Rosalind to follow, as she remained calm and collected amidst battle.
"Thank you very much, Super Sailor MuCephei," she started, "you're very powerful yourself!!" As MuCephei finished her attack, Rosalind decided that it was a good time to deliver the final attack-- the coup de grace.
"Sterling Silver VOLLEY!" Once again, coins streaked in silver gleams from the heavens. Several coins repeatedly poured upon the youma, to which the beast bellowed in pain. Rosalind watched as it cried agonizingly, finally dusting into dust particles.
Rosalind hated this part, because dust was filthy. She turned to MuCephei.

MuCephei curtsied, lifting the edges of her skirt very slightly and dipping her knees ever so old fashioned and polite. "You really don't have to Say super Every time." She said blushing slightly. "Are you alright? That was very close with those claws!" She straitened and dusted off her skirts and rubbed at the tip of her gloved finger that she had repeatedly pricked on her own pin. "Do you have a team? It's more and more dangerous for us to be out alone in the evenings." She said with earnest concern.

"Oh, alright..." Rosalind dusted herself off as well, feeling kind of strange not using formalities, "yes, it was a close call indeed. We did it together!"
Pondering over MuCephei's question, she flipped a stray lock over her shoulder and finally came up with an answer, "well, no, not a team-- but I do have a partner who I meet up with sometimes. Maybe it would be best to comprise a team?"
After she answered the Soldier of Blood's question, Rosalind had her own: "so, if you do not mind my asking, what is it like being a Super Sailor Soldier?"

Mucephei Nodded "Teams are.. really a life saver no quips intended." She said nodding like a librarian and then paused thoughtful. "It... I don't -feel- different if that is what you mean. But... I do feel stronger when I attack I think." She nodded considering. "I feel... like I am less naieve. I used to hope that we would fight and the problem would go away, but now... Now I fear this is not something that will end... I don't know..." She said trailing off softly, her crimson eyes downcast for a moment. "I'm sorry... I don't mean to be so...formal." She curtsied again. "If you ever need me though, please, feel free to contact me, alright?" She smiled genuine and warmly.

The thought of a team did not seem like such an awful idea at the moment, especially when the prospect of being shredded to pieces and ribbons by a youma was a possibility. Perhaps she would discuss it with Sailor Perseus? Who knew.
Cryptic messages were never Rosalind's forte, and MuCephei definitely had one to say at the moment. She felt stronger, maybe, but not in comparison to the realization that the battle may not ever end? Rosalind shook her head out of thought, and smiled at MuCephei coyly. "No, it is not a problem-- I believe formality is the proper way to show respect for someone. So, thank you."
It was somewhat sad to think that Rosalind was an awful sailor scout in comparion to MuCephei, but maybe she would improve one day? "Yes, I would love that," she started, taking her senshi phone out and continuing, "I'll register you right now."
Once the two had exchanged numbers, Rosalind curtsied in return and departed.
If only she were half the soldier MuCephei was.
