"I had to make things right." Nucleo had gone to trade in all his punkins for totatoes. Then he'd turned them in to the farmer for two final tickets. He'd spotted the tarnip he'd left behind and instantly regret had flooded through him. So even though it wouldn't benefit him in the end, he asked to trade his final punkin for it. The farmer gave him a confused look but agreed to the swap and let the greenblooded boy merrily reunite. He was going to use the tarnip as a garnish for when the pot was finally served. Wandering off happy, Nucleo hoped he'd run into his friends when it came time to eat!Quote: I'm participating in the exciting and vibrant agricultural market! He scooped the punkin from his bag and released it into the pot with a crick of his neck, and then turned to his pockets, where he'd pilfered a bit of the preserved embryo that was used for mooncake filling. This might be good, right? He tossed it in as well, and walked off, satisfied.

He ducked, for a bit, and then just charged at it. Why not? If he was going to do this, he might as well. With any luck they provided some sort of ablution afterward. Even if it was a Faygo ablution. He ducked, a bit, and then jumped up at it. Whoops. It'd moved again.

After a few seconds, he found himself astride it? Was this what he was supposed to do before murdering it? How many snoutbeasts were they having arbitrary passerby slaughter? The pot couldn't possibly need that many; and killing meat by hand only made it less palatable later on. Well - perhaps they were going to put all of the snoutbeasts in that stew. Still. It was a lot of snoutbeast. In his reverie he didn't realize the large farmer troll was easing him off the snoutbeast, and handing him a smaller, plastic-wrapped one. Oh. Wait. This one wasn't real. It could probably go live in Frossa's hive, then.

He'd traded some of them for a jar of preserves, earlier in the jubilee - and he was keeping those, sorry Frossa - but he had enough for a small bounty of tickets. What were these tickets for, anyway? It probably didn't matter. What did matter was that he was going to be keeping, well, a large crop of punkins, some totatoes, and a tarnip. They'd make an excellent future meal, he thought. For now, maybe he had to go find Frossa and stick her on his back. It'd been a long festival, and there was a parade to watch.
