"There!" Feeling bad for how badly he'd bungled the community pot before, Nucleo returned to add some better looking totatoes to the pot. It wouldn't fix the spoiled ones he'd added earlier but at least it would give people a chance to have some non-spoiled ones. She'd heard she could get some in the area, but she never thought it'd be so close-- and easy! She simply went to the place and started picking, albeit slowly, the punkins, tarnips, and totatoes in the same general amounts. She hoped things stayed a little closer to the same amount, mostly so she could easily buy things if needed. Things were getting pretty pretty sparse in the Outpost... Maybe she could bring some needed...

Treide carefully packed all of her things into her satchel and began to explore further into the festival. Not far from the stand she had been came the sounds of squealing, laughing, and hooping. Perking, Treide trotted off towards it, and wasn't let down. CD flicked his ear, telling his charge he thought this was a rather poor idea, but... Well when did Treide ever listen to anyone? Not even CD usually. He was left, unceremoniously with her satchel filled with produce as the girl vaulted over the fence and landed in the mud.
It was slippier and she slid sideways with a grin as sharp and bright as the moons orbiting overhead. Not so unlike sand, really.
"Let's do this!"

Gnash went back to the mooncake booth, excited to try something better. She'd gleefully accepted a free mooncake offered to her by some blueblood, which she promptly shoved into her mouth. "Thanks!" she said to her, trying very hard to keep an optimistic face. She could hear a voice in her head telling her to kill the teenager, which she ignored. She would be a good seadweller. She wasn't like that!
Her next batch of cakes were almost perfect, but she overcompensated trying not to press hard and smash the mooncakes, and her design was too lightly pressed. "Look, look! I did it!"she said to the booth runner.

Magician Arcana Time Table: D4 - 4 +15 seconds, progress to next table The snoutbeast charged and Treide whirled, allowing the mud to absorb her weight and slide her effortlessly from the snoutbeast. Smirking, she slid into a standing position and bowed to the crowd... Not like anyone would be watching, but it was more fun to pretend someone was! The snoutbeast didn't seem interested in actually fighting. Oh? It continued to run away from Treide. Well... Looks like SHE had to catch IT. Oh, chase was such a fun game. She spied around with a large grin on her face. So many possibilities. So much to do! Like a rural Bloodfest, but less coast and more land. "Hey!" she called after a moment. "I'm gonna check this out!"
The greenblood pointed to a spot where they were making food. Sweet, sweet-smelling food. As she approached, she came to understand that visitors could make batches of these cakes themselves. "Yeah," she agreed, "I'll give it a whirl."
Luxara was not a baker, though, and it quickly showed. She was adaptable, picking up quickly after a messy start, but the results were not quite perfect. Good enough, though. The crust came out great, the stamping excellent despite her bemusement over the branding, and they came out well-done! "Awww man, this is great!" She flagged Anguis down. "An! Taste these! I made them myself! I did a good job, too, if I say so myself. You wanna try?"

Magician Arcana Time Table: D4 - 4 +15 seconds, progress to next table D6 - 4 +20 seconds, progress to next table Argh! Lunging towards the bewildered snoutbeast, Treide met nothing but air. She belly flopped into the mud. The grim squished below her chest, making her grimace. Yucky. Not a bad yucky, but it felt weird and she wasn't sure if she liked it. On the sidelines CD howled in dismay. Treide had no clue how hard mud was to get out of clothes. Oh, all the work he'd have to do to get her clean again. BAH. Treide wasn't about to be daunted by some yucky grim. Standing she lunged again as the snoutbeast passed closeby. Triumphantly her body connected with the round plump of the frightened animal. Whooping in joy, she wrapped her limbs around it and looked for the score clock. Less than a minute! Heck yes! Looks like all that time playing tag in the desert with CD was paying off for something. CD gave a halfhearted bark. There was mud... in... in everything. Her hair. Her clothes. Her body. Her goggles. Oh... He'd need to get her a change of clothes. Good thing he packed on just in case. A bit of a damper on her fun, but she can persevere. The seadweller returns to the tasty hay pile, and roots around with her hand. Maybe she'd be lucky! Her hand closes around something hard, and she pulls it out excitedly. A button! "A button!"

Smiling, she poked at the cake, watching as they rose and turned a soft golden brown. Slowly, Treide removed them from the oven. The design stood out perfectly against the tender dough, and the heat rose off it in rippling waves. "Da! I did it! I did it!" Turning, she took one carelessly in hand. The heat made her yelp instantly, causing the redblood to fling the offending snack. It rocketed towards CD, where the tender dough exploded, covering his muzzle in the cloying mixture. Barking in surprise, CD turned and bolted away. "O-OH! DAD!" Treide left the cakes behind in favor of chasing her fleeing father.

Feeling excited, and gripping her new button proudly, she made her way to the community pot again. She'd be sure to put something delicious in it again, and maybe get lucky and get extra tickets! "Hey, we get to eat this right? When the jubilee is over?" She licked her lips. It smelled sooo good here. Unfortunately, she added a bad ingredient, and didn't win any tickets to get doubled!
