Quote: I'm potentially poisoning everyone. Quality increase: +3 Barter crop: Treide is using her last Toetatoe +1 Tickets won: 2 Treide grabbed her final toetatoe and dropped it into the pot with a PLUNK. It hit the bottom of the pot and... oddly when she tried it, the soup didn't taste like a nasty a** mess. What a surprise, really. Smiling happily, she took her two tickets and stuck them into her satchel once more. What a good haul! Thirteen tickets so far and the soup tasted much better than she had ever expected. Yay! CD sniffed happily. At least the product treide plunked in wasn't rotten. He had experienced too much shame already. Maybe her good sense of cooking would carry forward? That would be terrific.

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 Treide crawled out of the haystack with a whole lot of nothing. Huffing, she picked bits of straw from her hair and threw them on the ground. So much for her good luck the first time. CD howled in laughter, which brightened Treide's mood. She hopped onto her lusus and the two rolled in the hay, wrestling and yipping until Treide went limp and gave up. CD sat beside her and licked her face, tail wagging gently. You seem to be enjoying yourself, he said while blinking. "I really love this. It's been fun... I just wish I could meet some new friends.." I'm sure in time someone will come and meet you, dear. Just be patient. CD yawned and rested his head on his paws. Treide smiled and rested against the lusus. Maybe a quick nap was in order.

"Hey watch--- MY PHONE!" Oops. It seems that Mahmud's... ingredient, was accidentally the stand owner's phone! Not very tasty at all! Luckily he managed to escape before too much bad could happen. In the background, Harpommy cooed in distress, looking for her sweet precious baby boy.

He watched as Hemera quickly bested his attempt. A playful pout tugged his lips, "You've got more experience, is all." But still, he reached out for one and broke it in half, offering part to the creator and keeping part to himself. Biting into it, he nodded, "They're not bad... Not too good, but not too bad." They tasted...... Interesting. Afryse finished off his portion of cake and brushed his hands along his kimono to rid it of crumbs. Hemera's attitude had been interesting. She was complimenting how he looked, and then quickly stopped. Before, hadn't she been into fashion? Had something happened? After all, they hadn't seen one another since the battle... Afryse flinched, pushing down the unpleasant thought. "You look nice too," He cleared his throat and looked back. The pattern on her dress looked gorgeous, and good mix between two that Afryse would never have considered. While his was solid and bold, hers was playful and lovely. Something heavy weighed in his pocket. "Hemera. Close your eyes." His face was impassive, except for the faint blush on his cheeks.

Mahmud had spent most of his day trying to run away from kids trying to tease him, and by the end of that and a shower the boy was literally spent. Although she wasn't quite sure why, Fermer could see sadness in her companion's eyes. Sadness and distraction, seeing as his mooncakes just weren't coming out right for him. It was strange! Most people got better as they came along during the festival, but Muddy Buddy was different. The more time he spent out here with her, the worse he got.
Every time another troll came near him, Mahmud would flinch and look around. Without fail he'd end up adding too much sucrose to the mix, or squishing the dough far too hard. Once or twice he even messed up the mold, twisting it when he heard another person call out to someone. Duckdad kept quacking to try and keep his mind on track, and Harpommy would nudge him but... but he couldn't. He just couldn't Not today, not after everything that happened.
Soon as the mooncakes went into the oven, other trolls started to cram around the booth again and he tensed, breath catching. Too close. They were all way too close today. All he wanted to do was make mooncakes, and have fun like last time! But every time someone came within proximity he could feel them staring, sizing him up, whispering bad things about him, or planning on taking his stuff away.
He couldn't today. He just couldn't.
Without so much as a goodbye or his shitty mooncakes, the boy quickly turned around back into his mother and dashed off with her, making Fermer sigh and rub her neck. Poor Muddy Buddy. Hopefully, tomorrow would be a better day.

Ephias leaned against the side of the pen, sleeves rolled up, watching as the latest contestant was bowled over by a formidable snoutbeast. He appraised the creature, face as expressionless as usual. Upon first arriving at the festival, he had been as taught as wire, but after several hours of wandering around, his tension had begun to fade. Despite his initial unease, the disguises he and Etsali wore proved more than adequate; no one had so much as given them a second glance. It was simple enough. Donning a mask would have attracted suspicion, so he had gone for a complete change of wardrobe—electing for the traditional harvest celebration garb—as well as tying back his unruly hair, and masking the lower half of his horns via a pair of large ribbons. Finally he had altered his symbol and swapped blood colours with Etsali. Currently the sleeves of his changshan were rolled up, as he watched the spectacle before him with increasing concern. “Wrestling that... is a g-game?” he inquired, sceptical.

Etsali leaned on the pen alongside Ephias, watching the snoutbeasts shuffle around in their cages with a grin so wide she could barely contain it. She made an attempt anyway as she tilted her head to look back at the redblood (well, orangeblood now because disguises), and for a moment actually managed a straight face as she nodded earnestly. "The most important game here! Well, maybe important isn't the word, but if you do good at this one, you've practically won the whole jubilee!"
She glanced back into the pen with a hum. "Plus it's actually lots of fun, if you don't mind the mud." By now, of course, the farmer in charge had noticed them loitering about, and was loudly beckoning for one of them to come over. She'd already done it, buuut! "You should try it, Ephias!" The grin finally broke free as she laughed. "See if you can beat my time!"

"I'd like to trade these in!" Nucleo plopped five tarnips on the table. He was sad to give them up but they kept falling out of his bags and Goatmom kept looking like she might 'accidentally' eat one if he didn't get rid of a few of them soon. Accepting five tickets in return he was pleased to see all of his remaining crops fit neatly in the pack he'd strapped onto Goatmom and the two wandered off into the crowd once more.Quote: I'm participating in the exciting and vibrant agricultural market! "I'd like to trade these in, please." Amonee wasn't sure how this exchange game worked but he had too much produce to keep an eye on. It was starting to get tiresome figuring out what to do with it as he wandered through the festival so it was time to turn some in for tickets. The vendor laughed and handed him some tickets while scooping up the offered tarnips and dropped them in a barrel. The critters that were to eat the crops scurried around their pens and sniffed at the air.
One of them appeared to be a small cage full of squeakbeast and Amonee's eyes lit up at the cute round ears and pink noses. They were so adorable, he wanted to paint them almost!Quote: I'm participating in the exciting and vibrant agricultural market! Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 Frustration was starting to seep into the mind of the yellowblood, a strong desire to simply skip the game for the rest of the festival over taking her-- but Vremea held strong. She needed to keep at it!
However, when a rascal blueblood threw hay on her skirt after she cleaned it from the hay that had been on it, Vremea felt a slight amount of impatience rattle her. She calmed herself though, ignoring the blueblooded kid and dusting herself off, keeping the still pleasant smile on her face. It'd be better not to let herself get into trouble.

Quote: I'm burning mooncakes! I mean baking. My cakes are: Nutty (+1), Tender (+1), Press too light (-1), Undercooked (-2) Tickets won: 0 Normally when Vremea made the mooncakes, the slight crust of the stamp on it would tell her if the cakes were alright. However, this time, she pressed too light on them, which led to her not seeing it... well, crust. So she panicked and took them out a little early. Okay, not a little... Vremea simply threw them away, deciding she wouldn't let this deter her!! She would make better mooncakes, for sure!
