Dropping it in, she gave the pot a stir and a taste. Oh, yes! That worked out nicely, indeed. Maybe, slowly but surely, her taste and sense of cooking were becoming sharper. Maybe she would become a chef! That'd be an interesting career, to open up a little restaurant in chittentown. She could offer dishes and odd advice.

Really, with how many trolls there were here, and how many times she had tried to get it, surely by now someone would have found it! Gnash rooted around in the hay, only to come back with an empty fist. No needle, no buttons. Just a pity ticket. At least she could always count on that!

In the wake of Gnash's success last time, she managed to do even worse than usual, having gotten careless. Her cakes were fake and saccharine, with a mushy crust and barely visible design. Their only grace was that they had been cooked properly. She took a bite and frowned. Kinda yucky... She finished off the mooncake and went to see the next booth.

Gnash spent some time looking for the perfect vegetable to add into the mix, and eventually picked a bright, ripe and red totato. Smiling wide, she gently lowered it into the bubbling stew. Perfect! It definitely needed more tasty and delicious red things in it, because red was the best color, next to pink. And the pink foods weren't really ripe.

Maybe it was due to the trauma from what had happened with the wild haystack running around but Amonee found himself timid and afraid of the game lately. Like something was going to jump out and attack him again, making off with his belongings. Gingerly, he reached forward and grabbed a handful of fluff before sifting through it for treasure.
"Drat, well, next time!" The boy gave a friendly wave to the booth owner and stuffed the hay back in for the next challenger to deal with. He wondered if anyone else had managed to find a needle yet!Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1

Vremea had managed to keep this one on a stellar level. Not only was it chewy and smoky, but the minicakes were perfectly cooked and well made! Curse Vremea's vision however-- She got it uneven once more. But hey, that was nothing when it came to the flavor and consistency!! Right??

But Vremea had nothing but the bad mooncakes with her. She dumped one it, which seemed to please the kids. But no, it definitely wasn't hahaha

Amonee passed by the community pot once more and hurried over to it eagerly to add his latest ingredient. But when he reached for his bag, he discovered he'd accidentally lost the vegetables he'd been planning on bringing! Anxious because he still ought to add something, the jadeblood threw a couple of breath mints into the bubbling stew.
'Wait, those weren't breath mints... Shoot, I threw my sleeping aides in!' Good grief, maybe he shouldn't come back for any of this stuff at the end. The last visit to the mooncakes booth had gone somewhat embarrassingly. But this time for sure he was going to make a nice cake and return the favor (or pass it forward). Stuffing the dough with only the best ingredients, Amonee set to work shaping the cake but it came out somewhat lopsided. Well, no matter, there was still beauty in imperfection.
"At least it smells good this time." He inhaled the dreamy scent of the oven and eagerly pulled the tray out. Unfortunately they'd come out a little crispy this time and he frowned at the burnt edges. Maybe he ought to ask for instructions next time, like from the actual baker. How was he messing up the baking time so badly like this?!

 Chiara glared and angry smile at the purpleblood. "You are so right, whatever was i thinking!" And fished in her pockets for some straws of hay that got there from the hay pile searching. Obviously, right in front of the purpleblood's face, Chiara dropped the straws in. "Its much more up to your highblood standards now. Want me to go find some sh** from the snort-beast? Then it would really be highblood material."
