Gnash hadn't quite had any luck lately, but it was ok! There was still lots of time to have fun and be merry. And so many trolls around to befriend secretly while her lusus wasn't right behind her! She picked a vegetable at random to add to the pot, and ignored the disgusted look of a passerby. It was perfectly serviceable! Probably! And besides, would it really matter if a few bad things made its way in...? Accidents happen.

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 30 seconds Tickets won: Gnash walked over to the Snoutbeast pen. She'd been eyeing it all night. It was muddy and gross smelling, and Angel would never ever let her do that, unless she was trying to kill it or something to feed her. But... Angel wasn't here, and she was, and she was going to wrassle that snoutbeast! Gnash hiked up her dress and climbed over the fence entirely unnecessarily.
"I wanna get the snoutbeast!" she said, clapping her metal hands together and waiting for the smaller, child friendly beast to be released. She was going to grab it sooo fast!

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 30+35 seconds Tickets won: Gnash chased after the beast, muddying her dress and feeling the squish of the mud between her bare feet. Maybe she should have worn shoes? But that didn't matter! She needed to catch the snoutbeast! She ran, attempting to tackle it at times when she thought it was cornered, only to get a face full of mud. Wiping it from her mouth, she continued the chase.
"Get back here!" she called to the beast.

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 65+ 35 seconds Tickets won: The seadweller grit her teeth, starting to become annoyed. This should have been a lot easier! It was just a landdwelling beast! She ran after it uselessly, being evaded like a slippery fish any time she thought she was almost close enough to catch the snoutbeast. She could hear it snuffling, as though even the beast wanted to mock her. Useless. Gnash reached with her arms, willing them to be long enough to catch the little snoutbeast.

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 100+15 seconds Tickets won: At last, her hands grasped the snoutbeast's tail, and she pulled hard. The beast whined and tried to shake her off, but she had a vise-like grip (thanks to the robotics) and let herself be dragged along behind the snoutbeast for a bit. The mud was.... gross feeling. But she just had to get a little closer, and grab it! Just... a little more!
The snoutbeast's tail slipped out of her pink fingers, and she was left with another mouthful of mud. She sat up and spit it out, before running after the snoutbeast again. "Almost!"

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 115+25 seconds Tickets won: Gnash frowned. She felt like she'd been chasing this stupid beast forever now, and she just wanted to win! Maybe her lusus was right to have steered her away from this game, because all she felt was shame and the staring eyes of the yellowblooded farmer in charge of the game. He probably thought she was pathetic. A seadweller that can't do anything. Do you see child? You wretched girl, you can't even catch a small, stupid animal like yourself. She could hear her lusus' voice even now.
She chased after the beast again, still determined. Surely it would wear itself out long before she would give up on it!

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray!Total time: 200 seconds Tickets won: 5 whole tickets for the whole ordeal The purpleblood launched herself at the snoutbeast, absolutely ready to catch it, before anyone else could see what a mess she's become. Her hair ragged, her entire body coated in mud and hay and who knows what else... her lusus would probably cackle at her when she saw. But she would win, and subdue the snoutbeast, and prove she could. It was likely tired out from running, but she took whatever chance she could get.
And she got one, her pink arms wrapped around the beast as she finally made contact with it, after nearly a minute's chase. She gasped and started to laugh, the beast securely in her arms. "I did it! Look!" she called to the farmer.
He handed her five tickets, and told her she could get a plushie. She gladly accepted both, and went to find a washroom to get the mud off of her face.

Current crops: 4 punkins, 8 tarnips, 8 totatoes Action: Turning in Crop gain/loss: Turning in 3 punkins, 4 tarnips, 3 totatoes Tickets won: 5 Mera had taken some time at some point to try bartering some more. Her previous gamble left her with some regret, since the tables had turned for a better deal today. Oh well. She couldn't predict the future, and she had made out decently enough before. Putting in most of her stock now was risky, but she was going to do it anyway. Maybe prices would rise later and this would be a steal? Who knows! She could only hope she was playing decently enough in this game of chance.

Hemera was capable, she knew that much. But something was on her mind when she returned to the pot again. So much so that she turned, knocking an item over...and into the pot. "Oh shoot!" That was unfortunate. And likely counted as a contribution. She really needed to pay attention around something so susceptible to any little thing being added to the flavor....

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 By now it was probably becoming routine to the stand operator to see this stupid boy come in just for the hay. Every single day, without fail, Mahmud would come to this single haystack (not any other one, mind you) to take hay out of it. Today was no different, and he kept stuffing hay into his big stupid orange hat and then held his hand out for his one ticket.
Ah well...
While giving the boy his "prize", he tried to keep in mind that every bit of hay this kid took with him was less hay he'd have to pick up later. Besides, the little guy seemed so excited every time he thought he got away with stealing it, running off quickly back to his mom and shoving it into a backpack.
Let the kid dream.

Her stubby arms certainly couldn't reach very deep. At this rate, she'd have no choice but to burrow in just to cover what an average troll's depth of reach would be! But she hadn't covered every side of the haystack just yet. There was still hope!

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray! Total time: 15 seconds Tickets won: N/A "Ha ha, awwwww...." Luxara said, looking on as Anguis poked the sad sacks that were supposed to be moon cakes. "Well I mean you tried and that's what matters! I think I should be on top of making these though, yeah. Unless you practice until you get better," she added with a wink. "We don't all start out perfect, right? I know I didn't with hunting, believe it or not, haha. There's gotta be something we can do with 'em. I don't want to throw away something you made."
She looked around, lips slightly pursed as if in slight exaggeration. "Hmmmm.... Oh! Look! Snoutbeasts! Let's feed 'em! They're not too picky, right? Someone will enjoy these, anyway!" Luxara patted Anguis's back before taking his hand and leading him to the pen. "We can just dump 'em and..." The greenblood's words died away. She looked at the rancher with full attention, and was soon mouthing some of the words he just said.
Then her eyes lit up. "Hey, hey, hey! An! Did you hear that? Let's wrestle these guys! Finish feeding this guy while I do my thing!" She squeezed his hand once before hopping into the pen.
And then she zipped after that hog, right fast.PeanutButterpies I'll quote you again after she's done ;3

With a whoop of Joy, Mahmud jumped up and down when the community pot caretaker gave a sigh of relief. " I DID IT I DID IT I PUT TWO TASTIES IN! I'm the best I'm the best now give me all those super tickets!" Eagerly, Mahmud ran over to the table and held his hands out. Mmmyes, the taste of victory was sweet. Sweet like a mooncake! And savory! Like... like a mooncake!
Yet that prize never came. The caretaker looked so confused, and pointed to the dice she let the boy roll, in order to put another food in. "Rules are rules kid... you rolled a one! You put in two ingredients... and unfortunately, win no prizes. Sorry."
For five seconds he just... stood there, disbelieving. What? WHAT? He didn't get anything? It took a few moments for all that info to sink in. He wasn't a loser. he was a BIG LOSER. THE BIGGEST LOSER!
With a frustrated little yell, he gave the table a sharp kick and stomped off a bit before being picked up by his Harpommy by his shirt, being dragged off to get his scolding for being so rude and disrespectful...
Mahmud would have his revenge.

Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray! Total time: 15 seconds + 15 seconds = 30 seconds Tickets won: N/A Without a second glance she had darted in, almost without a piggy noticing her. Luxara was stealthy, and all the racket helped in a way. Sure, the loud noises put the snoutbeast in a frenzy, but it couldn't hear her go after it, either. She took advantage of the situation.
She side-stepped the mud, moseyed around any other pigs in the pen, and fell on top of her target. It squealed, started to run, but it was too late.
Luxara caught the poor thing almost immediately. She really was the master hunter, and boy was she proud.
The greenblood turned towards wherever Anguis might be now, flashing a winning grin and trying to hold up the pig without her knees shaking or it escaping her tight hold.
