Quote: I'm getting trampled by a snoutbeast! Hurray! Total time: 50 seconds + 5 seconds = 55 total! Tickets won: 18 Digging his nails into the snoutbeast, and his heels into the ground, Leeroi desperately tried to get the creature to stop. He yelled with fury, pulling at the beast's sides, desperately trying to keep himself looking cool in front of Guouli. Out of squinting eyes, he saw his lusus coming closer, and he realized that his fun time was almost up. He had to do something cool, and quick. Almost instinctively, he reached forward, grabbing around the snoutbeast's neck and pulling tight. Planting his feet firm in the dirt, he pulled pack, flipping the beast and driving it into the ground. Pinning the beast down, Leeroi let out a loud victory laugh before getting hoisted into the air and out of the pen by his lusus. Holding him by his collar, she grunted disapprovingly into his hair. Thankfully she had taken a close look at the other booths, and this one was the most dangerous. Now that Leeroi had his short, violent fun, he would be forced to participate in... friendlier activities. Leeroi, meanwhile, was positively giddy. He laughed, looking at Guo and wiggling, suspended by his lusus. "Did you see that? That was ******** awesome," He grinned, looking for his friend's approval.

Again Mahmud had grown tense around other trolls whenever they came to the stand, and again the dough he had been making kept getting far too mushy to be sold. Still though, even if neither of them said it aloud, both Harpommy and Fermer were proud that Mahmud kept trying to come back.
He must really love making mooncakes!

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ...I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 Another shot at the haystack gave the little seadweller nothing. A fist full of hay. She was sure she'd grab the needle eventually! It had to be in there somewhere, after all! And she (and other festival goers, it seemed) were all taking bits of hay with them as they left. Eventually nothing would be left but needles! Gnash grinned.

Gnash tried the mooncake booth again, but it seemed she still couldn't quite get the hang of it. Her cakes were overcooked, and the design stamped too hard. A bit of overcompensation for last time, that went too far. The nutty filling and chewy crust was overwhelmed by the burnt parts, and although edible to the ever-hungry maw that is Natash Boelli, it wasn't worth any tickets to the booth runner.

Quote: I'm potentially poisoning everyone.Quality increase: 8+1=9 Barter crop: nup Tickets won: 0 Gnash spent several minutes looking for the perfect ingredient to add to the pot, and she picked a rather large punkin with a pretty brown stain on it. Unfortunately, she didn't realize that stain was pure rot, and instead of being a delicious addition, it was gross and terrible. For a gardener, she sure was pretty awful at picking out alive plants to add to a pot. She frowned, although she was sure to do better next time!

Quote: I'm burning mooncakes! I mean baking. My cakes are: Nutty (+1), Flaky (+1), Stamp uneven (+0), Perfectly Cooked (+2) Tickets won: 4 Karrem decided that her next course of action would be to hone the art of baking mooncakes. It seemed to be quite the delicate process- Karrem was quite precise with each of her actions. She hoped to make the mooncakes to end all mooncakes! Unfortunately, she found her stamp work a bit uneven. The mooncakes did not end up as well as they could have, but they were a lot better than what some of the other trolls were putting out! The cook on the mooncakes was perfect, and the nutty flavor was a nice compliment to the flaky exterior. All in all, Karrem was quite proud of herself. It didn't mean she wouldn't try again for an even better result, though!

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 After the debacle at the cooking pot, Keionx realized that her role in this festival was more than mere enjoyment. She had an obligation to more than just the Initiative's trolls - she had a mission to defend all trolls, and that meant defending them from the whims of putrid partigoing poisoners. ... After she dived into this haystack again, because this was still fun and games, really it was.

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: NOTHING!! Tickets won: 1 Glitch knew exactly what Leeroi needed right now. She heaved the little blueblood towards the haystack challenge, certain that Leeroi would waste a significant amount of time trying to find the needle. Frankly, Glitch hoped there wasn't a needle in the haystack at all! It would give her a good break, setting Leeroi off on an unwinnable, harmless little challenge. Perhaps she could get some delicious mooncakes in the meantime. Oh, she was just so excited with the possibilities. Gingerly, she set Leeroi down in the Haystack so he could have his fun. The little blueblood made quick work, diving down and disappearing into the haystack.

Quote: I'm burning mooncakes! I mean baking. My cakes are: Smokey +1, Tender +1 , Uneven stamp +0, Prfectly cooked +2 Tickets won: +4 Little did Keionx know that, also frolicking in the hay, was a very different hero. What she did know was that she was hungry, and right over yonder was the mooncakes booth - just what she needed! This time, she would cook something good. And she damn well did! The cakes that came out were imperfect, but they were fit for a hero and she was given a very good additional reward to boot! Wasn't there a story about an adventurer with mooncakes who defeated a group of evil monsters? Hmm... She saw a hungry goat beast and, remembering the story vaguely - and a message of generousity to wild animals - offered them a mooncake before moving on to the produce and pot...

Quote: I'm burning mooncakes! I mean baking. My cakes are: Nutty +1, Tender +1, Stamped Perfect +1, Overcooked -2 Tickets won: 1 "Moooooom," Leeroi whined, popping his head out of the haystack. His whole face was flushed, and he tried to sniffle, but his sniffnode was horribly clogged. "Mom I think I'm dying," He whined, breathing out his mouth. Tipping his head back, he let out a roar of a sneeze, and then another. Whining again, he wiped his face with his sleeve. Moving quickly, the hornbeast snapped Leeroi out of the haystack and to another booth. Setting him down, she started picking out stray bits of hay out of his hair and clothes. Of course this had to happen... She could never catch a break with Leeroi, could she? Her head perked up at the smell of mooncakes, and she stared down at the teenage orangeblood offering her food, gingery taking the cake with her long tongue. Noticing this, Leeroi started to whine again. "Moooom," he said, grabbing at her, looking at the food. Even if he couldn't breathe fully, he wanted the food. Once the hornbeast took her nibble, she passed the rest of the cake off to her charge. Leeroi took it and gobbled it up happily, even if he couldn't breathe while he was eating. "More..." He mumbled out, grabbing at his lusus' fur. Gently, she nuzzled his head, acquiescing at his request. She gave Keionx a nod of thanks before shuffling closer to the mooncake booth, allowing Leeroi to take up making some of his own treats. She was partly worried with his current state of sickliness, but decided there was no harm, since Leeroi was eating the treats himself. Now Leeroi could have his fun and eat it too! A nice compromise for both of them.

Quality increase: +4 Barter crop: no Tickets won: DOUBLE OR NOTHING - 0 Keionx took a stride by the communal pot, dropping in a delicious morsel of produce-y goodness. She checked the crowd for any trolls who might want to destroy the good that they were doing that this community was creating in the communal pot, but it seemed that she had missed the evildoers in the act, if they were there. She'd have to keep a closer eye on the communal pot, to make sure nothing went awry...

Quote: I'm digging in the haystack ... I found: nothing Tickets won: 1 After some wandering Alifax found himself back where the stacks of dried cut legumes and grasses were. He sifted his hands lazily through the upper layer, but again it didn't take long for someone to shoo him away with another ticket. " Sure," he said, taking some of the legumes with him. Legumes were plant life, right? That meant they were edible? He hoped they were edible. For someone.
