|| For information on each stage's reqs and how to properly use reqs, please visit here. || Owners may submit characters in this thread as soon as they are ready to grow! Owners have an owner timer to help staff space out art demands. An owner may submit as many characters as they have ready and staff will approve the characters as their owner timer resets. No worries about keeping track, staff will do it for you! This is not to be confused with a character’s timer (see bullet below). || A character's timer for their next growth does not begin until they receive their art for that stage. (So if they grow Aug 2nd, but their art isn't ready until Aug 15th, their timer starts on Aug 15th, same idea for characters that are customed.) This is not to be confused with an owner's timer to submit for a different character's growth (see bullet above). || All characters must have their current stage's art before they can grow! The timer for the character does not start until they have art (the specific time depends on the stage and can be found in the stages thread). || As a form of payment for working on Tendaji, our staff members do not have an owner growth timer, only the individual character growth timers.

Proving Growth
The final requirement for growth is to prove that the character has grown in some capacity. This will be a small blurb that sums up any growth that the character experienced during their current stage. This can be a plot progression or a character progression.
Ex: "The conflict with the extremists is making life difficult for a lot of people in Tendaji and because of Aminah's mixed children I wanted her to experience being shunned by what was until recently her home town."
|| Blurbs should be posted in the character’s growth post, but is not necessary to post in the journal unless desired by the owner. || Younglings are not required to post a growth blurb.
Character Appearance
Owners will be able to choose what their character looks like each stage and what changes they would like. This is included in the growth form for owners to fill out. There are a couple of thing to keep in mind when picking any appearance changes: || Changes that do not make sense within Tendaji will not be approved or show up in art. || Weapons are not required nor guaranteed in older stages. Just because a character is in a battle class does not mean that their weapon of choice will show up depending on the artists' comfort level as well as the base limitations. || Weapons can be requested. If a weapon is being requested, it can be anything that makes sense within Tendaji and can be custom in appearance.

Choosing Your Artists/Colorists
|| At this time all artists are available for collaborations (with other artists and with colorists). || When an artist is unavailable, please do not use their name in your choice list. They will be spoiler'd to make picking easier at a glance. || PMing an artist directly does not change their availability. They will not be able to take on a growth if their position is full. || Please always list more than just one artist. If the first choice is full/busy, then the staff needs to know who else can take on the growth. || The above also applies for line artists! Please please please always choose more than one line artist. They also get busy and may not be able to take on more. || If an artist has more than one style available, please state if the alternate style is also an option for them on your list.
|| We now offer the option of being able to see WIPs of your growth (this includes images and livestreams). Artists do not have to livestream or provide WIPs if they do not want to, but you may decide whether you would even like to be considered for it or if you would like your art to remain a surprise. || If you choose to keep your art a surprise it will be a surprise even from yourself! You cannot request that an artist not post wips, but to send them to you privately.
|| Owners cannot dictate poses! Our artists work very hard to do their best with growths and we do not allow owners to pressure our artists into drawing them in a certain pose.
