Prompt
The past five years have continued to meld and mesh the lands of Tendaji. Where once tribes kept to their own lands, many were now seeing their colorful neighbors on a regular basis. While the cultures still stand, a welcoming sense of curiosity and openness has resulted in a peace across the entire region.

What have you done these past five years? Have you explored? Have you welcomed others? What has your story been and how have you grown in this new future of Tendaji?

This solo-only prompt is for you to explore the growth of your character these past 5 years in relation to the cultures of Tendaji. You must walk us through how your character's impression of the other races has changed or evolved, and how they've grown as a result.

The years seemed to fly by much quicker than they used to. As they say time flies when you’re having fun. Not that all of the past 5 years had been fun for Nedrima but it had been pretty full. Nedri pulled herself up and sat on the table, swinging her feet as she thought. It was her off day which meant she was able to do whatever she wanted, including reminiscing on the past. She’d grown up a lot in the last couple of years she realized. It seemed like no that long ago she was wandering around with her sister wondering what in the world she was going to decide to do with her life. Granted, not THAT much has changed. She was older, sure, and she hadn’t exactly chosen a pathway for herself though she did have an idea. At least, she thought she had, until the new lands were discovered with people so different than they were. Completely different than the alkidikes or elarians even. She was now old enough to understand how monumental this discovery was, just like how she was old enough to understand the world events when she was just a child such as the discovery of Belrea and their advanced technology. In hindsight, the world was in a much better place now and she hoped that wasn’t just a shiny coating hiding something.

In the last couple of years the RA had seen an increase in customers from all over. It was fascinating to Nedrima to see all the different kinds of people coming and going and learning what she could about them. While she wasn’t one to be biased towards or against any particular people in general, there was still a lot that she didn’t know about them. Generally she asked some of the dancers that worked there what they learned from various people until Nedri herself got the courage to ask some questions of people, usually the ones who became regulars or visited multiple times enough for her to learn their faces. It helped her to get out of her comfort zone and be a little more brave especially when her siblings weren’t around. Making friends was something that tended to be kind of hard for her as she second guessed herself a lot and could eventually miss out on meeting someone because of her indecision.

New friends was something to be excited about however! While Nedrima hadn’t met any of the new people yet, she had heard stories from people visiting the Red Amaryllis. The Kakin….Kahi…well clearly she had forgotten what they were called already but that was fine. At least she’d been able to get some information on them. Apparently the lived UNDERWATER. It made her wonder how their towns and people and just how everything worked! Nedri asked relentless questions to some people to the point she gets asked to go do more chores or to practice her dancing. She decided she had to be more exact with her questions so she could get the desired information before she got shoo’d away from the clients. It also minimized how many extra chores she was told to go do. At least she was able to bother whoever was doing her dancing lessons for the day. Usually as long as she complied and worked on whatever steps they were learning they’d indulge her questions.

The already large world had gotten bigger. New lands. New people. It made her wonder if all these other people were going to get along especially those going over to meet the new people. From what she heard there were so many cultural differences between them and from her experience that didn’t tend to end up going well for many involved. But perhaps after all the issues and battles with the Dretch, people would be wanting to keep the modicum of peace they had all found. Nedri hadn’t heard anything else happening with the Alkidikes or extremists. Which if someone was a little more concerned they might be alarmed. It was never any good when the troublemakers went quiet. Not saying that her father’s side hadn’t ever been troublemakers but at least the new royalty weren’t as bloodthirsty and overpowering. For that, she was thankful. Really it was just how things were now that she was thankful for. People seemed happy and healthy and just all around good. This little hybrid couldn’t really ask for more. Except maybe more time with her siblings. Or shopping with Nasuri to get more shiny things.
