Bad things happen to good people, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. Shiloh is a typical, disillusioned high schooler. He's pretty convinced at this point that the world is conspiring against him, and that's fine, because Shiloh's got two fists and he ain't afraid to use them. He's pretty scruffy and very rough around the edges, but most of his aggression is a front he wears to protect the sensitive still-technically-a-kid under the crust. He's not sure when his mom left, but it's been pretty downhill ever since. "I only have to feed you and put a roof over your head" is a saying heard quite commonly in the Beaumont household, and it's pretty apparent that his dad doesn't do much else in the role model department.
▄ ▄▄XXX · · · ·TROUBLE ░░
Forget about his dad; it's the months living with Melany as a new role model that's really done him in. He's still got that aloof no-care attitude only now it's half parts crippling anxiety, and he has no idea how he's going to try and re-integrate into regular society. His new status as a noble is absolutely confusing and bizarre, because he just can't fathom why he would get any sort of 'reward' out of all that torture; as if he ******** chose this! It's a massive burden and he's sure he won't be able to live up to the expectations, but when has he ever?
Oh, yeah, what has he? About that; attempting to cope with the abuse left Shiloh with some pretty gnarly holes in his memory, and it unsettles him greatly. It's easier when he doesn't have to think about anything, and he tends to escape his stress by throwing himself into routines. Stability, stability, stability; this is what drives Shiloh now, this is what gives him comfort. He's extremely prone to aggression and aggravation when left to his own devices, and he absolutely hates change and the unpredictability that comes from it. It's absolutely exhausting how much inner turmoil he has to deal with on a daily basis, but it's the breaks; Melany got to him, and he feels like he deserves it.
Because yeah, those inadequacy issues? Still there. He's frustrated he can't get over his anxiety and he's frustrated that he can't do simple things anymore. His depression has consequently spiraled out of his control, but it's more of a somber acceptance at this point that he doesn't try to hide. He doesn't plan on getting better and he doesn't really care about putting in the effort either; what's the worst that could happen? He ends up alone? He dies? Hell, he's seen worse, and it sure as hell ain't death. There's only one thing that drives him anymore and it's getting stronger.
Oliver doesn't know who he is, and Shiloh literally doesn't know who he is. and he's back at square ******** one. Wonderful.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Turtles. Twenty-Four Seven Turtles. How likely is it to find turtle themed things in a store? Very if you're one Shiloh Beaumont. Does he need a new sketchbook? This one, among all the other plane jane ones, has a tortoise decal on it. Maybe he needs a new cover for his phone? You guessed it: there's one eye level in the store he just walked into, with extra the turtle. This isn't limited to mere depictions of the animal; turtlenecks always seem to be on all the clothing racks, and he doesn't have to look hard to find some caramel turtle desserts. Even all the local creeks seem to have an abundance of the little guys when Shiloh's around.

XX◦◦ ⤿ With enough time, patience, focus and forethought, Shiloh can effectively "bless" plants with magic to grow sentient plant creatures, henceforth known affectionately by him as Sprouts. Sprouts grow in height from about one inch to start to five inches maximum and take on the inspired appearance of whatever plant they originated out of. Sprouts themselves are equipped with basic human intelligence (though they are not capable of human speech, they do however understand it), and essentially exist to be mischievous gremlins assist Shiloh in whatever tasks he could possibly ask of them. They otherwise have no powers or abilities outside of what being a sentient plant entails. They're pretty cute.

XX◦◦ ⤿ He has a new affinity for plants—or rather, they have an affinity for him—as they seem to sprout and cling and bloom all over him. While he does have full blown Chlorokinesis, his plants still seem to operate best in conjunction with his emotions (or reflexes). Passively, it isn't uncommon to see them sprout out of his hoods or crawl out of his pockets or tangle in his hair, they especially like to sprout around his feet, a trait made especially noticeable when he walks.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Wherever Shiloh goes, the scent of rain always seems to follow him. It doesn't matter if it hasn't rained in days or weeks or if it's in the middle of winter, it's a freshness that always seems to cling to whatever clothes he's wearing. Maybe it's the flowers. He can't tell.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Shiloh's blood looks normal, but it's thick like sap and sweet like sugar. It's actually like this because of the plants that cling to his body; they've turned him into something of a pseudo host! Wherever he's wounded, flora will absolutely congregate and bud around any abrasion he receives, and knocking them off only makes them grow back like a scab. It's a symbiotic relationship however, as his plants actually help to speed up his regeneration process, the only drawback being the immense amount of energy it can consume if Shiloh's not careful. Incidentally, his blood makes for a wonderful fertilizer. .

XX◦◦ ⤿ While in the position of an advocate, Shiloh the power to compel the truth in the pursuit of his duties, and only his duties. This has no effect on anything else.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Shiloh is not effected by time magic of any sort. He are immune to the effects of the reset, and cannot be frozen through use of chronomancy.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Shiloh and Jamie now have the ability to meld their minds together in a process very similar to drifting (see: really gay pacific rim s**t). Their shared conscious allows for them to combine their strengths and utilize magic in a much more potent way, enabling them to unleash spells much stronger than they could alone. In addition to relative proximity, It takes a small amount of time to both set up and back out of the drift safely, as well as concentration to maintain the meld. Any shift in focus can result in the drift breaking, which consequently gives both of them "mental whiplash"—this can include but is not limited to headaches, nosebleeds, disorientation, tunnel vision, etc.

XX◦◦ ⤿ Shiloh can mark both otherwise unmagical civilians and magical visitors, allowing them access to, and use of, one of his powers. He cannot stack marks to grant someone all of his powers. An individual may only be marked by one person at a time; the old mark will "break" when a new mark is applied. Shiloh's specific mark is a splash of gold freckles along the cheeks/nose/shoulders of his intended individual. Innocuous enough at a glance, but they bloom into tiny little buds whenever the user casts the magic he's granted them!

XX◦◦ ⤿ If Shiloh wants to summon Sonny, he can do it with very little effort. All he has to do is call them and sincerely want them to appear. If coerced, this power might not work so well...

XX◦◦ ⤿ Utilizing his will as a principal representing the key, Shiloh can place locks on objects through the use of this symbol. Things locked by him can only be opened by him, and they can only be applied to physical things, such as journals, doors, drawers, ect. Once Shiloh opens a lock he's placed, it effectively vanishes and requires a reapplication to be effective again. Player permission is required OOCly to lock things he otherwise doesn't have direct possession over.

Upon Shiloh's induction to the Court and life as nobility, his fetch that he was granted was none other than the one who had initially stolen his identity; Beel, in all his corpse like glory, is just what you'd expect from a fetch. He's hungry for a return to who he used to be and he's a sarcastic a*****e to anyone that he feels is undeserving of his respect. Since affiliating himself with Shiloh, he's taken to sprouting fungi over his body—an ample contrast to Shiloh's own flora that flourishes on his skin. However, he's still hyper obsessed with control, beauty, and prowess from his time under The Spinel Lady.

All good things eventually come to an end, right?... except, why?. If you ask Beel, the good times should be able to last forever! And they will, so long as nothing gets in their way, which isn't saying much. Everything is a threat—everything—and it's all out to get Beel. They just want to live forever; they're perfect! Absolutely. The only way for things to work is if Beel is in totally, 100% control of any and all situations. Strike first with fear of being stricken; it is important, however, not be consumed with terror. Smile. These nightmares can manifest however they like, as per the discretion of the affected player. While it takes far less effort to cause actual nightmares (as in, when you're asleep), Beel can cause minor "daymares" (as in, bad daydreams) with considerable effort. The amount of energy necessary is negated when in Other Ashdown, where these sorts of 'hallucinations' can happen a little more freely.

From foot to the top of the head, a fully grown Sprout will average 5 in (12.7 cm) in height. From birth, a Sprout will typically emerge at the size of 2 inches before rapidly growing to its final height. This process typically takes no longer than a few weeks.
Sprouts don't seem to have any discernable gender, but they do have a level of sentience equitable to a young child. They are capable of understanding human speech as well as a variety of concepts and problem solving, but are unable to communicate via speech themselves. This is likely due to the lack of a mouth. Sprouts are equipped with round, pudgy body and two hands with opposable thumbs. Sprouts also have elongated snouts that are primarily used to help in digging, as well as triangular "ear like" organs to the sides of their head. These are essential to a Sprout's sense of balance, and they also aid in detecting vibrations. This is useful due to the facts that Sprouts have lackluster eyesight.
The most characteristic feature of a Sprout is the plant growth on top of their head. Sprouts will only exhibit a green bud in adolescence, but the affinity of their plant will come into play as they age. Since Sprouts can be born from a variety of plants, each Sprout will have a variety of different features, boons, banes, ect. Two Sprouts of the same plant will never look quite the same either! A Sprout's body will almost always be green in color, though the exact hue and shade can differ.
A Sprout's main method of locomotion is upright walking much like humans, however they have been known to exhibit the dexterity necessary to climb. Sprouts can also hunch over on all fours to run, but are typically only capable of short bursts of speed.
Sprouts consume energy in much the same way that plants do. Though they do not have a root system, Sprouts are capable of absorbing water and nutrients through their skin, and require adequate light to remain healthy. A Sprout's ability to regulate body temperature is largely dependent on the affinity of their plant, but they cannot produce heat for the most part and require temperate living spaces to thrive safely.
Primarily dinural, Sprouts are very similar to birds when it comes to sleeping habits.
Dark spaces will trigger a Sprout's instinct to sleep, and as such it isn't recommended to have them in direct light for longer than 9 hours a day. Their biological clocks are easily confused, and a tired Sprout is an unhappy one. Sprouts are typically intelligent enough to put themselves to sleep should they have a dark area to retreat to, but the all-nighter should still be wary of unintentionally wearing their Sprout out!
▄ ▄▄XXX · · · · SOCIAL BEHAVIOR
Sprouts are aggressively social creatures, and will often bond to anything willing to accept them. They typically will come to accept anything that accepts them as their own, and are high maintenance as a result. Improper care and negligence of a Sprout's need for social stimulation can have drastic effects on a Sprout's mental health, and result in lethargy and depression. It's best to pair them with other Sprouts for this reason.
Sprouts, for this reason, are also very vocal. While the sources of their sound is a Mystery due to the apparent lack of a mouth, vocal chords, ect.; we can assume that they are capable of sounds because it's Magic. Sprout sounds have an impressive range, going anywhere from bird chirping to whistling to mewling not unlike newborn kittens. The sounds are typically not that loud due to their size. It can be hard to discern whether a sound implies happiness or distress, if only because it often boils down to the personality of the Sprout.
Sprouts typically don't display any aggression when it comes to territorial boundaries, but can still exhibit stress if they feel invaded. Like any creature, they still need a degree of privacy, but this can usually be negated through cardboard boxes or other dark areas.
However, again, Sprouts have enough sentience to develop wildly different personalities, and these are just baselines to the species, not the individual.
Overall, they are considered a friendly Othercreature.
▄ ▄▄XXX · · · · HEALTH
It's unknown what the average lifespan is for a Sprout, due in part to their magic and recent existence in the universe. Sprouts are not susceptible to human disease, but are susceptible to the same array that plants are, such as plant pests like aphids and other generalized things such as plant blight and fungal infections. They can fight off plant-based diseases easier than an ordinary plant could, but it's still important to practice Proper Sprout Health.
Fertilizers are like vitamins for Sprouts, but should still be used sparingly. Too much of anything can be poison!
