So he had managed to mess up with everyone else, but with this lady in the mask, he at least had some luck. When she called, he came, and through some miraculous intervention, managed to figure her out. Maybe it was all the years of his weird mix of korean and english making him better at making out this, maybe it was just being so tired he could figure it out.
Whatever it was, he was utterly grateful.

25/25 | Shiloh Beaumont (unmasked) | Just Kind Of Sad
The incident with Jamie in the atrium left Shiloh shaken. Though he hid it well in the limelight (ever evident by his long, graceful stride), there was a particular shallowness to his eyes. It wasn't hallow—not completely, not right now—but somehow the dim light that had returned made him look exhausted, not rejuvenated.
Usually, Shiloh bore down on his sorrow and his memories to cope. Before he had reached that point, he sought a lot of comfort from Noeh.
Or perhaps it was wrong to say he sought it, but she had been kind. There had been distrust at the start of things, but he warmed up to her once his stay became more about mental survival and collateral damage. He left the atrium for a breather, and spotting her in the now darkened halls was a pleasant surprise. He didn't hesitate in wandering over.
"Sorry, I..." he understood her decently enough, but usually Shiloh was better at interpreting her, "It's... difficult to focus." the admission was slow, but genuine. He did his best to follow her words regardless, "Is that so...?" he said in response to her own "speaking".

[ Temperance:25/25 hm] She was hard to understand, and the most striking thing about her (aside from her glitzy mask) was the way she moved. Temperance followed placidly, her own face, while exposed, blank of expression. She'd been originally hoping to gain some of Melany's favor, but this woman was interesting, too. Temperance just wanted to collect enough information so that no one died. "What are you trying to tell me - is it about Ezra?"

Zac Bantock - 25/25 - kinda creeped out by that mask. Melany – she was saying something about Melany but for all that he was horrified by her mask it kept distracting him too, no matter how many times she repeated herself he just couldn’t understand what she was saying beyond that it was about Melany. “I, I’m sorry, I’m awful, I just can’t…I don’t know what you’re saying. I don’t want to get you in trouble. M-maybe someone else will do better I’m so sorry.” Quote: 5-9 = You think she was saying something about Melany, but you can't get closer no matter how many times she repeats herself. You receive no reward.

Try as he might, he couldn't understand and couldn't get anywhere near her. After a few minutes of repeated gestures and shakes of his head, he let it go. They were getting nowhere.

Odd that out of all the strange creatures scampering about, a woman with her face covered by a glittering, featureless mask would be one of the ones to weird him out the most. Chester followed because he was wary of what would happen if he didn't, and when she got him to the lonely alcove, he stared at her for a moment, at a loss for words.
"Sorry," he said after a couple of breaths. "I need help."

Something about Noeh felt safer than the Spinel Lady, even despite the eeriness of her mask. Still, no matter how hard he tried, Jamie was unable to understand the answer to his question. He thanked her time regardless, smile a little sad, and continued on.

This, he decided just as quickly, was a mistake. His anxiety went up, up, up, the minute he was outside. It was only when he found Noeh that his mind cleared a little bit. Once away from Melany, he hummed a soft sort of apology to her. "I hope you're doing alright," he said. Chel had the brilliant idea of giving Melany a piece of her own mind, but was pulled aside by some freaky mask(?) thing. Chel hoped there was a person under there; she'd had enough mystery for one night.
The girl began making gestures, and for once Chel was quiet, and listened.

connor hill - 25/25 - playing along He hadn't actually been trying to get the woman with her entire face hidden behind a mask of jewels attention. It was more a matter of (hopefully) right place, right time that had him intercepted and waved towards a nearby alcove. He followed, frowning slightly when she began to make gestures at him, and slowly, he began to understand what it was she was trying to tell him. Or at lest, he thought he did.

Lily Babineaux: 25/25 - Trying to use Mom's sign language Dancing with the spook twins had been a total crap shoot, which meant that Lily's trail for information led her slowly meandering back towards the Spinel Lady, beautiful and knowledgeable and cruel and someone that both terrified her and inspired a small, darker piece of herself. It was something that Lily wasn't sure if she wanted to be proud of, but as she slowly worked herself up to actually approaching the jeweled woman she caught sight of one of her attendants in a new mask that she'd never seen, entranced by the mirrors upon mirrors that covered the other girl's face. "Whoa, that's ba--" Lily began before being abruptly cut off, her tail bristling in response. Still, she was nevertheless curious enough to follow the girl to a more private alcove, watching carefully gesture after gesture. "It's cool, there are times when I can't talk either," she nodded sagely, shifting to her masked fisher form to demonstrate.
