Some days after what Chris calls "the beach incident", he sets up a group text in his phone.
It consists of Jeremiah Mercer, Algernon Mixlin, Shiloh Beaumont, Jamie Delacroix, Alexander Thorne, and Chris Watts and is titled, quite humorously, 'Makeshift Family Group Chat'.
It's meant as a safety net - let everyone have everyone's number so if something goes wrong that there's at least someone to help.
Obviously, it's going to be used for more than that.
