Shadow memories
At first all Wonenwyng remembered was that she was once needed but not by who she was needed or why she was needed. As she started doing tasks for the goddesses, her sense of self grew and she started actively seeking out others so that she would not be alone. Gradually, she also started gaining a personality and quirks, though she has no clue where they came from. She's also found out that she likes to hunt and has been tracking down every monster she can. Also, after her embarrassing failure at the Forge, Wyng found some discarded things in the Blue Rose that she can wear in the forge to prevent her from imitating Marylin Monroe again, namely a pair of shorts. If anyone talks to her about the forge she will blush and glare at them until they drop the subject.
When her final journey began, Wyng sacrificed her heart to Creation.

Thinking back, Wyng found it quite interesting what she did and did not know. What she could and could not remember. Her memories started back when the goddesses called her from the fog, but she could not meet them till she remembered her name. How could she have a name if she was born from the fog, could she and the others have been someone else before, or did the goddesses name them? She did not know. What she did know was that when her goddess, when Ruin called to her to receive her blessing, that was the first time she remembers ever truly feeling alive.
The first task the goddesses had set her to had been collecting fragments. Those had raised more questions than answers. What had those snippets of conversation meant? She could still remember all five. The first had been "Now who are you lassie?" spoken in a deep male voice. It had echoed the sentiment the door had, but for some reason, she felt like he had not been asking her, but someone else. The second snippet had been "I guess yer a mare of the mer." in the same voice as before. Looking at her form, that did not make any sense at all. She did not look like a horse, nor was she near any water, yet at the same time, it seemed very correct. The third statement had been from a much younger male voice asking "You've always been near this loch, haven't you?". Again, they were indicating she was always near water, and the only large body of water she knew of had been on the World's Edge, not the spire. The fourth and fifth voice had been a mature feminine voice, one that had brought her both joy and sorrow. It had told her "Drag them to the depths." and evidently had later demonstrated how to do something to her later for then it told her "...like this.. ". These phrases, were they truly meant for her, or did they belong to someone else?
After she had gathered her fragments and turned them over, receiving another blessing in the process, she began to interact with others. This is how she found out about the monsters and the smaller blessings. The monsters she could easily defeat with the aid of others, who often happily joined in the fray, mainly because they liked the prizes one could get from defeating them. Wyng had to admit that she liked the prizes too, for when the prizes had reacted with her heart, she had gained the staff that had served her well ever since. Wyng also liked how many people she met and became friends with during battles. Though some had been rude or gruff, most had been kind and open. A few had also commented about her accent. Did she have an accent, she didn't think so. It was from these people that she learned of the smaller blessings and the other areas, and from then on, she was exploring as much as possible, collecting as many of the blessings as she could. After all, that's what the goddesses had wanted, right? Most of her encounters in these areas had left her bruised and frustrated, but the one area she decided she'd have to look out for the most was the Forge. While some of the others were more dangerous or difficult, the blessings in the Forge were guarded by the perv machine. What else could it be when it did very little else but blow her skirt up with steam?
Moving away from the horrid memories she had of the Forge, Wyng next contemplated the second task the goddesses had placed upon her directly, or rather a goddess had placed upon her directly. All she could remember about that task was that she had entered the shrine and then she had left the shrine with the remnants of tears drying on her cheeks. Why had she been crying? What had happened? Wyng did not know, but she did notice that, afterwards, she started developing several habits and mannerisms she did not have before. She developed a personality! It seems the others had undergone the same transformation as well, because, suddenly, everyone had some small unique quirks about them.
Finishing her contemplation, Wyng decided it must be the will of the goddesses for her to be continually perplexed and picked up her staff. Maybe she could get her answers from another monster...
