At first, Wyng cannot remember how to steer the glider and before she even reaches the wisps, she manages to drop a fairly large distance.

Leveling out, Wyng passes through a wisp for the first time that day. Welcome back and keep your nose up. It seemed this wisp liked her.

After passing through several more wisps, some of them nice and some of them not so nice Wyng once again made it to the edge of the world. As the water disappeared from beneath her, Wyng had her goal locked in sight. She was going to make it to the island again.

All the voices continue to urgently advise different courses of action. It is difficult to pick the right voice from the chaos all around. Finally, the voice that had guided him before speaks clearly an firmly.

Suddenly the water falls away, fog rising high, high in the air. Tiek's stomach dropped. Startled, he screamed at the image, and wished deeply to turn around.

Tiek clutched onto the glider and pinched his eyes shut. He knew he needed them open to fly. It was impossible, though. all of this was just too frightening. Right now the best thing in the world seemed like the Ruined Subway and the warm embrace of the Paranoia Goddess.
Then, from the fog, came a soft voice. Blessings of the Goddesses be upon you, traveler
Tiek opened his eyes, and there was the island straight ahead. Shocked, shaky, and happy, he landed.
A blessing came forth:

Tiek was transported back to the main land in a snap.

This time, making it to the island was definitely easier. Happy that she had made it with no incidents, Wyng rushed over and grabbed the orb that sounded like it shared a name with her. Having done so she was returned to the launch house. Waving goodbye to the totem, she continued on in search of more blessings.

God, there was that feeling of fear again...but hey, it wasn't as bad as before. In fact, she felt kind of courageous, confident that she could pull this off with a little luck and skill.

Somehow, Ixy had made it across the water with no problem at all, and the fear she had felt before had only been a tiny pinprick behind her courage.
