"I am the Voice and this is my story. This is my story of the Great King, the Greatest King, and this is my duty to withhold his sworn promise.
That from the ordinary can emerge something even greater."
"In front of you is the beginning of your journey, as as the Great King once began theirs. Even the most magnificent sword must be tempered from simple steel. Using the most basic of what you are going, go, show me how Great a King you can become. Only the Greatest can succeed."
Wondering where the voice, that had just spoken to her, had come from, Gywn found herself in the dilapidated remains of a modest shack. Trying to find out who had spoken, Gywn looked inside, only to find no one. The voice had told her she was to go on a journey. Thinking that that would be no issue in her true form, Gywn tried to transform, only to find herself stuck in her human form. Displeased, Gywn decided that she'd have to rely on one of the creatures she had seen in front of the shack.
Going back outside, she looked them over. Two of them she had seen before: the horse and the mountain goat. She would NOT ever ride another horse, ever. It was completely against her morals. As for the goat, she'd had run ins with them before and found out that the only way she liked goat, was cooked. So, she turned to the two she had never seen before. Both were large furry creatures, one more fluffy than furry. Going up to them she started looking them over. The less fluffy one seemed to be more suited to travel and she was thinking about choosing it, until it spat in her eye. So she chose the fluffy, creature that seemed more complaint. That was necessary because, since her true form was a horse, she had never ridden anything before.
Mounting her new fluffy companion, Gywn made her way through the old village that the sack she had been at was located in. It seemed to be abandoned, so she had the beast slowly walk until she reached the plains. They seemed to be infinitely long and extremely green, but, on the horizon, she saw a green mist. That must be where she had to go.

Checking the pack she had found, Gywn wanted to start out a little slower, since she had never ridden before. Gently, she urged her mount forward, but her mount had other ideas and took off at top speed, Gywn barely managing to hold on. If her mount was going to be like this, then she would need to learn to ride quickly.

Rolling a 1: Your character is attacked by bandits! They have 20 attack! Roll your equipped weapon's dice. If your result is lower, subtract the difference and adjust your current HP. For example, if you roll and have 7 attack, then you take 13 HP damage. Abilities CANNOT BE USED, PERIOD.
While her beast was running at high speed, Gywn was not really able to steer it properly, which is why she ran headlong into an ambush.

She had thought her mount was traveling slowly before, but now it practically stood in place. Gywn decided to try other methods of getting it to move faster. So thinking, she got ready to try something she had seen before.

Trying to lightly kick the sides of her mount, as she had seen horse riders do, Gywn accidentally kicked harder than she meant to. As soon as her hells touched its sides, her mount took off, and she struggled to hold on, until she finally fell off. Great, she thought, I'm going to have to walk the rest of the way...
