She took a deep breath, trying to simmer down her temper. Lectoa breathed a few more times for good measure before she honed in on another fragment. She followed it with her eyes for a few seconds before she shot at her hand and snatched it up. She grinned toothily, claws clacking together as she experienced another tiny snippet of memory, but again it was too short and too vague for her to make much sense out of it.

And then the other figure spoke again, and he grinned with relief, a lighter shape of a mouth appearing on his otherwise featureless face. "Yeah, somethin' like that. Glad I'm not the only one."
He reached for another curiously, watching as a few other figures seemed to do the same. He cupped this second one in his hand, bringing it closer-
"-going to be-"
"S'warm," he murmured to himself. Louder, he added, "Shaw. Nice to meet you." He transferred this newest glow to his other fist, and offered a hand.

When Andie arrived at the spire he looked around in curiosity. There were others there as well, their red hearts being the most brilliant thing about them. But his eyes few drawn to the fragments that were around the darkened areas. What where they? How where they floating? He wondered over to one and reached to grab it.
When he grabbed one he was startled to hear what seemed like a name, 'Makayla' go through his mind. When nothing else happened he pocketed the fragment then looked at another. Would that happen each time he touched one?

Aeru placed the fragment into his other hand, recalling the three phrases that came from them. How did these three connect in anyway? It sounded like one was a foreign language and the other was in a horrible relationship. Whatever it was, it wasn't something he ultimately cared for. A few more of these and he would be bored and find something else to do.

Should they end at five? Maybe they should end at five pieces of crystals. Klinail immediately darted towards their next target, and made another attempt to snag the pieces. And they missed, by a mile. It seems the only time they ever get a crystal is if they run headfirst after the floating objects. They might have just found their crystal hunting method. ( O mO)9

The frustration grew and Lliote followed the crystal further and further down the hall. The walls had spikes protruding from them, and there were other shadows around him, but Lliote could only see the fragment that had evaded him for so long.

The world was full of magic as the door seemed to place him in a new realm. A realm... he wasn't so sure about. The boy's reaction was to recoil, back away from the dark shagged edges of things. It seemed a foreign, dark world he hadn't known before. Somehow he longed for something different, yet... he couldn't recall. It was useless to try and wonder for it, wasn't it?
He did, however, feel solace in the sight of others about him. All similar, so blank and simple with merely a glowing heart of warmth to greet him. Perhaps, even with the dark cold feeling of the world it was fine.
He paused, merely watching a moment, too unsure to say a word. They seemed to preoccupied with some floating fragments to take much notice of him. What were they then? He watched as one floated by near him, staring silent a moment before quickly leaping toward it and catching the thing in his hand. Perhaps only to regret it. A quiet voice in his mind whispered by a single word, but he felt only sorrow from it. 'Jessie.' Who... what was that? He didn't recall, only blank images came to his mind when he tried to remember, but he knew enough to remember that it was important.
Why though? And why had that piece of nothingness brought that back?

Vettey was glad for the clarity of vision that came with Ruin's blessing, the fog that seemed to previously shroud her vision now permanently lifted so that she could better make out first her own form then that of the others around her as well as the makeup of the Spire that she had somehow found her way to.
Spines are sharp. Sharp means potential danger, hence best to keep clear.
She blinked slowly, mildly amused at how she had the capacity to make that connection. It was then that she started to notice the tiny orbs of light that were around her, her hand already reaching for one that was close, only to close her fingers around it and find nothing...

Another fragment, blood red in hue, stood close to her, making her walk the small distance towards it, before bending down as gracefully as she could, picking it up and collecting it with the other, almost feeling a strange warmth collect from the two of them, including a few more words, one said by a sweet young sounding girl, almost in reverence.
Was she revered? Even maybe cared for? She wasn't certain.
Catching sight of another close to her, she watched the young miss picking up shard, giving the same uncertain look that she was showing too. A red heart showed on her chest also, making it evident that this was where those held in the red light went.
"It is strange, isn't it? Chasing around little red speckles, listening to the lost words that come with it, mm?" She voiced out to her, hoping for conversation.
