She saw it and immediately ran into it with her mouth, only to trip over a rock and miss entirely. "Ow." She said, rubbing her nose and moving up. The monster moved oddly and wasn't anything like the other one. "It looks funnier."
Mel'ae looked around as her friends appeared and smiled. "Not a good start for me, hope you guys are better!" She called out.

How strange this thingy was. It wasn't at all like everyone else. Oh it wanted to hurt her? Ok then. Ralifa sprinted past the others towards it, the creature swung an arm at her, leaving a few decent scratches but nothing too life threatening. Sadly she could not say the same about her attack which missed entirely. Something was different. He feels something warm growing inside him, even if they're next to a highly dangerous creature. He can feel calmness. Warmth. Strength. Is this...the power born from shadow...no, PEOPLE's interaction? Something in his pockets glowed with a dim light. He reached upon it and finds those two items from the last monster they beat. The glow seems to tell him something. His 'heart' glows in unison. What is your desire?"My desire...?" The one which moves you. Gives you strength. Shows you the way.He remembered his resolve just before. To protect. "My desire-Is to protect anyone!" The two Seals resonated-and changed its shape.  Now in his hands, two short-swords are held. "My wish is nothing great. Just to give another... Simple Protection!" He rushed forward and slashed at the monster's feet, it's weakness. The weapon's sharpness is not that good. If all, the thick blades was meant for parrying. Nevertheless, the monster seemed to take high damage from attacked in the legs, just like the other one. OOC PERSONA!!! Yep.
Something inside her, as she watched the one who wanted to protect others so badly, twisted. Something visceral, something locked beyond even what she could touch. The pain of being unable to recall something.
It stirred up violence that boiled within her, threatening to pour out.
"I am all I wish to protect," she muttered to herself, striking the machine with a sweeping kick. The thud felt satisfying. She did not understand why it did, but it filled her with a sense of purpose.
And she drowned out the sensation that had been a lie; she remembered, again: someone had relied on her.

She slipped and fell again after watching Eir make contact impressively with a weapon from nowhere, then smiled to the said as Raumius managed an impressive blow.
Guess the second time was not the charm.

This is working! The shadows beside him---no. His new FRIENDS are working together! They can take this thing down! Instead of attacking the legs, he improvised and smashed the dome-like portion on its head. Cracking sounds are heard... And the monster crumbled into shards. They actually DID it. But was it his imagination...or the monster seems to FEAR them right now?
