Gathering the fragments had been a mindless task for Lectoa. It had been tiring too, but not boring. A task gave her something to do when she had no idea what she herself should be or could be doing. She didn’t know what she wanted yet. She offered up the five gathered shards for the goddesses, and she blinked as she received a blessing in return. In retrospect, perhaps she shouldn’t have gone off on her own so recklessly and on her own. There was something important and nice about interacting with others, forming relationships. Lectoa briefly recalled the one figure she waved at. She wondered if she could ever find him again. She cocked her head. There was something else tugging at the edge of her mind, but she couldn’t figure out what.OOC Link to task completed: 1 2 3 4 5Name of character: Lectoa Link to Heart Log link

Ako's steps were slow as he entered the building after following the others. It felt like everything would echo as he moved along cautiously behind the trail of a few similar figured, each with their own faintly glowing heart. They seemed to be giving the fragments to the goddess. Well, he had agreed to help her. But were the memories not meant for him?
Even so, perhaps it was best to let them go. A few further slow steps as he waited his turn before bowing his head and holding the fragments out. Even as it was taken he suddenly felt a bit of a warmth, almost understanding course through him. He looked to his own hands, which now seemed... more solid? Was that a way to put it. No, they held no color, but... he toyed with one of his own fingers that seemed to have nail longer than what he felt would be normal.
Not that he understood so much. It was merely new as he looked back up before bowing his head once more and shifting to get out of the way wordlessly. Apparently it was best to do as these goddesses asked. If only to please them and earn their blessings. Then he would know what he was, right? Or what such things meant. Truly, he'd return as many times as they asked if that was the meaning behind it.

The task was completed as swiftly as she could manage, and Lyzzi came in to receive the promised blessing, approaching the goddesses cautiously. She didn't understand the task at first, and even after completing the task, she wasn't sure what it meant to have shape, or be more than what she is.
As she received the blessing, however, she understood it a little better; her body felt more solid, and she felt like she was a little closer to completion - whatever that entailed. The figures who were wandering around the same place she was... She no longer felt like passing them by. Perhaps a greeting - just a smile or a wave - next time.
Next time...

She had no means of telling time, so Skaaal didn’t know how long the task had taken her, but she hoped it hadn’t been too long. Cautiously, she held out the fragments and closed her eyes as she received the blessing. Ah, I see. She opened her hands, taking in her shape, which was more solid than before. As much as she didn’t want to, she could see the advantage of talking with others. Doing more than just awkward or empty glances as they passed by one another.OOC Link to task completed: 1 2 3 4 5Name of character: Skaal Link to Heart Log link

Nush had done it. He had gathered the fragments. They spoke to him. They did. He didn't understand, but it didn't matter. He made his way up to the goddess and presented his earnings. Soon after doing so, he slowly realized a few things about himself. About what was around. He was... someone. There was more to him. He just didn't know what it was.

There was almost something profoundly sad about offering up these pieces of something that could have fundamentally been part of her, maybe, in one past. But there was something about the previous infinite that also scared her - not knowing was something she felt was not . . . comforting.
So, willingly, she allowed the tasks shards to be returned to Goddess to offer the blessing, exhaling slowly outwards as she watched those around her.

Wyng was a little doubtful about handing over the fragments. What if they were a clue to her past? What if those phrases weren't gibberish? Still, she felt an intense need to satisfy the goddesses, so she handed them over without a complaint. That didn't mean she would not ponder what she had heard though. He would have liked to look more sure of himself as he stepped forward through the shrine. He would have enjoyed that far more. Instead, uncertainty shown on his face as he marched up and held out the fragments he had collected. What did the memories mean? What did having another self mean?
It was certainly hard to explain, but even as the bits were taken from him he found only one small answer. And that was in his own form seeming to solidify, to becoming more than what it had been. He was still without color beyond his own glowing heart, but now he found himself briefly staring at his fingers. Then his arm clothed in a simple robe. He would have taken more time if not for stealing too much time with the goddess. Instead he merely bowed his head briefly. Thankful for at least that answer. Pleasing the Goddess, answering her wishes, that was the best path for the time being. Even if being a servant to another did not suite his tastes entirely. "Thank you."
A simple two words and with that bow he turn to walk out, briefly looking to the still featureless figures walking through as he left. Would they too gain that greater awareness perhaps? It was hard to say really.

She carried the fragments carefully, holding them closely to her chest as she looked up at the statue of the goddess. She had just seen another, more sure of himself offer his up and wondered if her's would even be suitable enough?
"Um...Here you go?" The light flush was odd on the form that wasn't really a form yet. She watched them disappear and the goddess bless her. Another blessing that felt just...
She relaxed, bowing to her goddess and smiling. "I'll come back to visit!" She whispered and then disappeared out of the room. Maybe it was time now to find out about the others.

Carmus had come and been given a task, and now, he'd returned, task completed. At least, that's what he thought. He didn't wish to linger. Godesses had other things to do likely, things that were not him. OOC Link to task completed: HereName of character: Carmus (Marcus) Link to Heart Log Here

Ralifa carried her fragments to the shrine with great dread. While she knew she must hand them over she had become quite close to her little friends. Their glow and warmth was comforting. She reluctantly approached, opening her hands and watching her fragments drift away then vanish. An overwhelming sense of accomplishment and warmth washed over her. Oh, this was nice. He didn’t know about the others, but Ikait had managed to finish the task in a rather timely manner. Ikait looked at the others curiously, and even more so once he received his blessing. While observing others was good, it was important to talk to them too. Perhaps he would be able to learn even more things about others if he did.OOC Link to task completed: 1 2 3 4 5Name of character: Ikait Link to Heart Log link

Kieyrr cautiously made his way towards the shrine. In a way he didn't want to give up what he had worked so hard to collect, but he knew he couldn't avoid completing the task at hand. There was no way he wanted to anger anyone in any way.
He held out his hands and watched as the fragments slowly vanished, but in return he changed. He felt more complete in a way. He stared as his hands as they seemed to grow solid.
Kieyrr walked off and hoped it wasn't a sign of more dread to come. OOC Link to task completed: 1, 2, 3 : 4 : 5Name of character: Kieyrr Link to Heart Log: Here

Eir entered the Shrine. He can see few other shadows beside him traveling in opposite direction. They looked...slightly more solid than he did. Not that the fog (what is fog doing inside a building???) helped. Eir walked closer to the statue. For some strange reason, with each steps he took the outline of aforementioned object blurred and blurred...into it was nothing but fog. "You must complete in one task per given day."A voice spoke to him. Is it the Goddess of Ruin? Yes, I already read the announcement. So- "Each task will grant you a blessing and strengthen your heart. Only those with the strongest hearts will ascend to become goddesses."Aaaand that's new. How come I didn't know anything about that, Eir groaned inwardly. And for a man, would he still became a 'goddess'? Something moved inside the fog. Eir feels something has been pressed against the center of his chest-the shape was distinctively clear---a hand-URK! His 'heart' burns with so much pain his vision blurred. He can barely see something happening-the five fragments meld into one before him--- And shoots into his 'heart'. Suddenly, 'things' rushed out from the very center of his being. Understanding. This world's history. Also--- 'Information Broker'.That phrase again. What is it, really? He can feel that words are something....important? No, that's not quite it...but SOMETHING tugged into the back of his mind. Is there something associated with those words? After the pain subsidizes, Eir stepped back from the Goddess's statue. He feel different. More...complete, albeit still incomplete. Guess I'll head back to the Spire and see what can I find about this 'Information Broker'.OOC Link to task completed: 1/ 2/ 3/ 4/ 5Name of character: Eir Link to Heart Log: [x]

Andie's focus narrowed down on the statue before him. The fog all around him did help in that respect he supposed. He smiled as her when she told him of having to complete a task a day but the smile fell soon after when the statue was gone and there was a hand on his chest. It was a weird feeling, knowing he had a task to complete. Thankfully one of them whispers what he was supposed to do, even if vaguely. He left the Shine only to return to it a few hours later to offer up five red shards. His task complete, he felt stronger and more there. He also had more knowledge and that was always a good thing.
