Aeru moved among the Spires' base, glancing at the shattered tops. Their structure so disfigured in his mind that he was amused by the idea of them collapsing to the smallest breeze. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw what looked to be a fragment. Gleaming red, these fragments littered the area. He reached for one with piqued curiosity.

Noticing the how jagged and craggy this place looked, Wyng thought to herself that there was something odd and discomforting about this place, she didn't know what, it just knew it was. Then she noticed the red glowing things and those thoughts flowed away like the fog surrounding them. They were comforting and warm. Soon she noticed something else glowing, a fragment of something. This must be another gift from the goddesses! Upon this thought, she rushed forward to grab the fragment only to have it slip through her fingers.

Shaw found himself in an alien landscape, made up of sinister towers, harsh shadows and underlit with an angry red glow. He held his hand out, just short of touching one of the glows, and it felt strangely warm.
"Hello?" he called uncertainly.
It was strangely quiet in the claustrophobic, twisting and jagged halls, but he could just make out other figures wandering the structure.

Aeru touched with hesitation, his fingers opening and closes slowly as he neared the red, glowing object.

Klinail silently wailed in their mind as they made another attempt to snag a crystal. They actually ran towards the crystal this time, not really paying attention to the other gray beings that has started to enter the area (if not there already). They were way too focus with the crystals.
They got the crystal, but their running made them trip and they go trembling onto the ground with a loud BAM. Whatever called to them because of the crystal was lost to the incident.

She didn’t know what exactly this place was, but okay. All she really wanted to do at the moment was take advantage of her improved sight. Lectoa lightly laced her hands together as she examined the three shattered towers. Huh. Her gaze trailed up the towering buildings until she encountered the grey sky with a bright red moon hanging overhead. She tilted her head, but failed to form any opinion about the mysterious moon or her new location. She merely kept looking. Lectoa didn’t know what kind of things she liked, but unfortunately the land here was not very interesting. There were cracks everywhere, everything so broken that the sight made her almost depressed.
At least the hallways kept her attention, if only for a little bit. They were interesting, and wandering through the hallways were sort of fun, she supposed. But she would always perk up whenever she encountered a red light. They glowed a pretty shade of red that she felt drawn to. Perhaps it was because her heart glowed a similar color. Eventually, Lectoa attempted to reach out toward one of the glowing orbs. They had a pleasant feeling to them. Sometimes she could even hear something. What would happen if she could get a hold of one?
A clawed hand reached forward, but failed to successfully grab a fragment. She sighed.

Again she grabbed for the fragment, and yet again, it slipped through her fingers. This was starting to aggravate her.
Was aggravation new or not?
She paused a moment to contemplate that before trying again.

Annoyed, the greyed out being chased after another fragment, arms outstretched. It seemed the more he tried to go for one, the faster and further they moved from him. As slow as he went, the more it was one, a step out of his reach. The faster he went, the faster they moved out of his way.

As she contemplated aggravation, the fragment drifted closer. Soon, she noticed and grabbed it, replacing aggravation with satisfaction.
Now who are you lassie?
Hearing the voice she turned around, only to not find who had uttered that phrase. Upon turning around, she saw another fragment and summarily forgot what she had just heard.

She had found herself standing in this spiral-shaped world, eyes lighting up as she peered up the great monumental buildings - or what she could consider buildings of a sort - their jagged movements and sweeps almost unnatural to her. Were they made, or left here, for someone to find, their contents lost in time.
"So many questions, so little answers." She posed to nobody, and every body around her at the same time, sighing lightly and leaning down to scoop up a small fragment of whatever next to her, it's red colour glinting at her feet.
A spark came with the little shard, leaving her confused and a little bewildered - the words whispered from the shard warmed her red core, making her feel like they may had been something she had heard or said before, but they only made her question more. Holding the piece to her, she looked around, hoping she wasn't alone in this reverie.

She was about to apologize, out of politeness rather than because she wanted to; there should be no reason why she should be apologizing for something like a pat on the butt. When she turned around and saw the wink, however, she responded with a grin.
... Why a grin?
Is it normal? For her, the answer seemed to be yes, as she paid no more attention to what she did, and focused on getting the fragment ahead of her.

Shaw spied another shadowy figure in the distance, wrestling with something.
A small, dull light.
"Need a hand?"
One floated near his head, and he snatched at it unthinkingly. A warmth spread through his fingers and up his arm.
"Please-"
He jumped, startled.
"Did you hear that?" That was strange. He felt flushed, and he let his arm drop back to his side.

Shaking themselves a little, they went to grab another piece of crystal from the air. They were able to snag another one from the air before Klinail decided they should get off the ground.
