 As you come through the different fields, you notice one that is particularly sparse save for one mare. She grazes nonchalantly, her pure white pelt seeming to shine in the sunlight. Her ruby red locks seem to move with her, tail flicking contently.
"That's Nailiah." A voice calls to you. You turn to see a human female who stood slightly tall with long hair. Her attire reminded you of that of an Amazon woman, her skin mocha, eyes green, and lips and body full. A bow and quiver of arrows was upon her back, hands placed upon her hips. Though she looked intimidating, there was nothing of the sort in her presence. "And I'm Athari the Dark One, but everyone calls me Dark Athari. Take your pick. I take care of her - and the others. I'm sure you'll see them sooner or later when they come around. For now, I don't think she minds you watching. Mare's a little vain that way." You then hear a protesting snort from the equine in the field. Dark chuckles then waves to you. "Come on. Lemme show you around."  Dark leads you to what appears to be a slightly old sign. The red letters - though faded - still read in big letters "Rules". She points to it with a serious look. "Don't mean to damper the mood, but you gotta take a look at these. They suck, but they make the world go round. Once done, I'll take you to the rest of the herd."~ Rules ~1. No Posting. I don't reserve my posts since that's a bit of a pain in the butt, and also because I'm still a bit new to the journal thing. So for now, no posting please. 2. Questions? Contact me. I will record RPs that each of my Azrein has been involved in. Even if it's little mini thread RPs. Those can be found in the " Information & Role-Plays" post. I do this so I can keep track of acquaintances, enemies, friends, potential mates, etc. It's also to keep me sane and makes organization super easy.
4. RP is ALWAYS available! I love to RP so don't hesitate to ask or just post in the thread. Odds are, I'll jump in if I'm allowed. If something specific is required, again, don't be afraid to contact me!
5. I request demand activity among mated pairs. Flings and Life-Mates are perfectly fine with me. What is not is if your azrein courts/is courted by one of mine, have foals, then leave off the face of Gaia without notice. OR role-play is not as heavy later on. I think to strengthen relationships and to create bonds, role-play is mandatory with my life-mates. Flings, the occasional acknowledgement is grand too.

Often quick with a comforting word or a stern speech, she sees life as a learning experience, and one not to ignore. She came upon the Isle a short time after her chosen, Dark, did. The two became fast friends and eventually bonded. Though Nailiah harbors no hate for any life what so ever, she is strong about the actions one does within his or her lifetime. She's very opinionated and will speak her mind - in a very tactful manner of course. She has a soft spot for foals and often times want to take in one just to see what it would like to be a mom. However, she knows that when the time is right, she'll give birth - eventually. She has a very realistic mindset, though she wishes that it quit getting in the way of her fantasies. The mare tries not to let her vanity get in the way, but her hair sure does pose a problem for her sometimes as well as if she's attractive enough to find a stallion or not. Love isn't on the top of her life's list of do's and do not's but the mare is not opposed to the idea of finding her one. For right now, Nailiah keeps close to Dark and doesn't stray too far from home. However, she dreams of the next big adventure and meeting other Azrein. P L O T S
Plot 1 - A Friendly Shoulder
Nailiah is new and like all new kids on the block,
they'd love to have a friend or two.
She can get a bit lonely and having someone
of kin species to talk to would do wonders on
her psyche. (Mares or Stallions; Good & Neutral).
Plot 2 - A Mother's Love
Nailiah is an extremely maternal mare.
Even though she doesn't show it, the mare
would love to have a child. However, she's a
bit old-fashioned and refuses to "give it
up" unless she's found a suitable mate.
A foal who would need a mother figure or
guardian would do wonders for her. (Foals Only.)
Plot 3 - Suitors Galore!
Nailiah doesn't think herself a very attractive mare.
She honestly believes that no stallion in his right
mind would consider courting her, especially
a group of them! Is there any stallion or stallions
who would prove her wrong?

That friendship led to their bonding. She looks out for her human, and her human looks out for her. [H] King Azreth - King - A human she met when Dark led her to the Isles. She pledged her loyalty and allegiance to the King and his subjects. She considers him a human to look up to. [A] Valdien - Acquaintance - King Azreth's Chosen. He seems chivalrous and extremely loyal to Azreth. A model pair for human and Azrein really, that she considers. She'd love to get to know him. [A] Tasunke - Acquaintance - An Azrein she met while in the King's court. From little conversation they had, she gained that he wasn't for or against the bonding of humans to their kind. However, she finds him intriguing and a little cocky. [A] Chara - Friend - A black stallion she met while on a stroll. He's charming, witty, and a bit of a flirt; but he strongly dislikes humans. She believes there is a bit of good in him, even if he doesn't see it in himself. Now that's she's spent time with him, she's realized that he's more than meets the eye and it was definitely a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately when Chara went on his revenge quest and left her out in the cold, she saw the danger that he also possessed. The mare made her decision to keep him friends - for now. [A] Morpheus - Acquaintance - A blue stallion who seems to be such a gentleman. He's a guard of a king and stumbled upon Nailiah as a bit of an accident. [A] Zeddler - Acquaintance - A painted stallion with an odd-ball way of speaking. He's strangely poetic and quite intelligent. She enjoys his company. [A] Freydan - Acquaintance - A stallion she ran into while adventuring. He was lost and she suggested they try to find their way together. He seems quite nervous, but a sweetheart none the less. [A] Zephyra - Acquaintance - A mare of the fairy folk that seems extremely loving but quite naive. They speak of enlightening conversation and Nailiah does quite enjoy her company. She thinks of Zephyra as a child to be looked after.

She is harsh, ill-tempered, and has a hot streak when it comes to her anger. However, she does not see blindly as others are led to believe by her fiery personality. She considers herself the dominant female in almost every way and has no trouble advertising herself as such. She believes the bonding between humans and Azrein are ridiculous and would rather see the whole thing end. However, she refuses to get involved with such unless there is something in it for her. Her life on the Isles hasn't been rough, but it hasn't been easy either. Her parents often left her to fend for herself and often times pushed and teased her to do better for only herself. Kainda can be a little selfish and will go after what she wants without any hesitation making her a formidable ally or a unrelenting enemy. Kainda loves pretty things and believes herself to be a strong mate and an amazing prize for any who could woo her heart. She does not particularly lean toward any one gender, but she takes on a more dominant role if she were to enter a relationship with a female. As for a male, he would either have to match or beat her in strength for her to show any respect for him let alone allow him to be her "mate". For now, Kainda travels the Isles looking for trouble, a mate, a quest, or all three. R E L A T I O N S H I P S
Key - [H] = Human; [A] = Azrein [A] Rakai - Friend - A dark heart of twisted mind, this stallion made a bold and suave first impression. He seemed to mirror Kainda's thoughts and feelings, and she considers him her partner in crime. They work together on sinister plots. She considers him a male of equal worth, just not mate material. [A] Dark Tide - Mate - A stallion she met will training outside the woods. He proved to be a great training partner, but his views on human and azrein relationships leaves a bit of a strain on her idea of him. Pity. He would have made a good mate. Unfortunately for her, her heart has stated that she go with this stallion and see what happens. Even though she is happy, their ideals seem to get in the way (at least for her). And yet, they managed to work things out to the point where they officially are on the same page. Kainda has given herself to this male, and he to her. Let's just hope neither live to regret it. [A] The Phantom - Acquaintance - A stallion she met while traveling through his woods. After getting lost in the fogs, she seemed to win his respect. There's a dark secret he hides which makes him a little bit annoying to her. Other then that, she likes to speak with him.

She has no clue where she comes from nor does she fully understand why she was sent to this realm. The mare is often lost in thought as she is in travel. Her first order of business is to find out who could tell her what's going on in the current time. Her second is to find her teacher and confidant though he could be ANYWHERE in this realm and in ANY FORM in this life time. She's also a little worried about her "powers of resurrection" so to speak. Could her life be in danger? Could the ones of this world? Pheonix is quite confused and a little crazy. She seemed a little unsure of herself at first, but with a bit of conversation, Pheonix has realized she's not so bad, and sometimes just needs a little push. [A] Ahadzen - Friend - Strangest stallion she has ever seen. His voices didn't exactly help his presentation either. However, the two managed to come to an agreement to travel together if she kept his voices away and he taught her how to live without a master.

His personality is still the same - suave, cool, calm, collected, and of course, modest. He enjoys the company of others and wouldn't dare to chase any way - unless said azrein or human was pissing him off. Charcoal has a bit of a temper and even though his nature seems calm, his fire-type attribute sometimes gets in his way. He can be brash and ill-tempered, but he means well - and he wants everyone to see it his way. Because of his aloof and possessive and protective personality, he often doesn't allow himself to get emotionally close to anyone. He'd rather have physical scars than ones that he could possibly never heal from. Traveling most of the time, he looks to find a possible "trainer". Even though he's a bit free spirited, he'd rather have someone guide him and teach him what to do. The stallion also seems to have a knack of finding trouble wherever he goes. He'd never leave anyone in distress and often finds himself playing the "guard" until the situation calls for otherwise. R E L A T I O N S H I P S

He spent his life being alone, his parents leaving him once he was born to fend for himself. His social etiquette is strongly hindered because of that and sometimes he doesn't speak properly. However, the years of spending time with himself has caused D'mitri to hone his skills in strength and intelligence. Unfortunately, he was chased away from a human settlement after rescuing a human child and a small group of draft horses from a burning stable. It was said he started it to begin with because he was demon like. Now with no where else to go, he's finally gathered the courage to travel to the Isles and search out others like him. Possibly find those of his kind - the dragon one. He fears of being called monster like he was back on the ground, but his desire to be accepted has outweighed that for now. He sleeps mostly and hunts only when hungry being an opportunistic omnivore. Grass alone doesn't help feed his ravenous appetite. R E L A T I O N S H I P S

[A] Gabrielle - Close Friend - A mare he met while taking his leisure time in the skies. She was a gorgeous sight and even more so that she had wings. She needed a friend, and he couldn't say no. He keeps close tabs on her and will travel with her at her beck and call. [A] Barb - Acquaintance - An azrein mare of strange looks. She's quite deviant and is straightforward with her wants. After a hunting trip, the two seem to agree to disagree. [A] Nyx - Friend - At first a thorn in his side as far as an annoying mare. However, after his encounter with her and her chosen, the stallion has deemed them both fit for each other as well as their ideals. He's formed a sort of friendship with the two of them. [A] Kessling - Mate - A mare who has the same carnal habits. He feels a connection to her that he has not felt to anyone else - not even Gabrielle. She was the first mare to not make him into something he wasn't or make him feel monstrous. However, he fears that he will not be able to love her as her chosen, Al. Those fears were quickly laid to rest and no sooner after did the duo decide to get hitched. D'mitri is fearful of being a horrid mate and even worse - a father.
