 The mare gave a gentle hum as she strolled leisurely along the grasslands, the sun pleasantly beating down against her body making her skin quiver with comfort. Things had been going well for the most part, the fear of her master returning vanishing with each passing day until it was a fleeting thought and memory. Ahadzen had been quite helpful in her quest for herself and the two seemed to be pretty fair friends. She had decided to take a walk since the day was so nice and it was a while before they would head into the mountains. Phe gave a bit of a yawn as the sun made her feel all the more lazy. Her eyes gazed about looking for a stream of some sort to quench her growing thirst. It was strangely empty on these plains, but then again Pheonix was used to being happened upon suddenly. It was becoming quite the norm for her to turn into someone totally new. She wouldn't be surprised if it were to happen.

Damir trotted along with a bounce in his step as he was still overjoyed at running into Irri a few days ago, though it was now time for him to move on. Mother had found a life-mate and it was time for him to find someone, if not just a female to occupy his interests for awhile.
It seemed hours before he ran into another living soul, which just happened to be in the form of a red and black feathery female azrein of such beauty, Damir had to stop and get a grip before continuing on. "Allo there!" He called in greeting to test the waters.

Phe had all but settled in the field close to a few bushes. She had reached over nibbling gently on the leaves as if to inspect them for edibility. The mare was always bored, curious, or hungry which could often be a recipe for comical disaster. Her ears flicked as she walked slowly around the bushes for a moment even poking her head through as her backside came up in a slightly unflattering position, tail waving sharply back and forth causing her feathers to rustle with a mad intensity.
The voice spooked the ever loving surprise out of her. Pheonix immediately jumped from where she was rearing up in order to get a better position to face...well whatever that was. She managed to get herself standing right as a few leaves and twigs got caught in her mane. The mare shook her body giving a bit of a grunt as she couldn't help but stare simply at the stallion in front of her. She coughed a moment giving a grunt. "Well at least you gave me warning of your approach. Hello to you." The mare gave a bow as a leaf came from the top of one of her feathers and gently brushed her nose. In reaction, Pheonix sneezed which caused her top feather to come down and hit her on the nose tip like it always did in a comical fashion. Her tail flicked behind her as she gave a snort ignoring the assault of the feather on the nose. "What are you doing out here, stallion?" It was a dumb question, but from what Ahadzen had taught her, most of the time it was proper to start a conversation with a question or some sort of interest in the party that was speaking to her even if she didn't have an interest. But it wasn't to say that she wasn't, Pheonix just didn't know who he was yet.

Damir grinned and held back a chuckle that would have been aimed towards the comical way the red and black female sneezed. "Brilliant day is it not? My name is Damir and it is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Madam. I was simply enjoying the afternoon with a small meander when I saw this... lovely beautiful thing standing over here, so, well, I just had to investigate and would you believe it, I found the most beautiful thing I've seen as of late, besides my beautiful mother Daria." The male said eloquently as he gave a low bow to the female. "May I inquire your name, Madam, and perhaps join you on your stroll?"

Pheonix gave a gentle grunt. "You use the world beautiful a lot. And you talk funny." The mare gave a brief snort finding him slightly amusing and fun. Her tail flicked behind her gently as she stretched her neck a little. "My name is Pheonix. I have nothing better to do and I'd love a good stretch. So sure. Why not?" The mare gave a bit of a laugh as she gave him a nod. "It's very nice to meet you, Damir." The mare looked at the horizon as the plains were emptied out before them. "Anywhere in particular we should go?"
