The small azrein had slipped away from Ahadzen for a while. They both wanted to travel to the mountains, but something had perked Phe's curiosity. Her tail flicked a little causing the feathers to rustle musically against each other. The mare blinked a little as she took in a breath of the air. There seemed to be nothing around save for trees and birds and the sun. Yeah there was always the sun. Pheonix always loved to be in its rays and feeling it now just made everything seem so peaceful.
Pheonix gave a little sneeze as she took in a scent. What on earth was that? She looked down and noticed a plant that she so happened to be standing over. It was yellow much like the sun with a white center. The female leaned over and took another sniff only to sneeze again. She shook her head a bit, her middle feather coming down to slap her on the nose like it always did when she sneezed. It was a comical little bit that she never caught on to. Her nose wrinkled as she looked at it for a moment before looking back around wondering if she was the only one here. She'd have to go back to Ahadzen eventually. But for now the sun felt good.

"Neden bu cihaz benim için çalışmaz? (Why this device does not work for me?) Rameses shouted at a little wooden block that had been set in the sun to dry the contents within. He was a simple Azrein with simple needs. Build a pyramid. That was all he wanted. A place to rest his spirit after he was gone. A way to make sure he reached his father on the other side of the river. Abdul had offered to help him, and in doing so constructed a small wooden box, hollow with only for walls. Inside was a mixture of sand and water which would create for him one of the many bricks Rameses would need to build his great tomb. But for some odd reason, this strange invention would not produce the desired effect. No matter how many times he prodded it with his nose, the mixture was never hardened. "Why must you torment me so baba? Eh?" Rameses continued to study the wooden encasement impatiently. {OOC: Sorry for the short post.}

Pheonix had been strolling around at some time before she heard the shout of a strange language. Immediately she stopped and surveyed the lands around her until her eyes fell upon a tan stallion with ungodly amounts of hair and some sort of jewel around his leg along with a tattoo. Pheonix blinked a little and tilted her head wondering if this could possibly be the form that her master had chosen. Her heart started to pound hard against her chest as she was caught between two decisions: to give into loyalty and slink back to hsi side where she belonged or to high tail it out as fast as possible and hope they never ran into each other again.
Pheonix continued to study the stallion for a while as if still trying to figure out if he was truly her master or not. She decided to be an optimist and vote for the latter. Taking a breath, she trotted over with a bit of confidence to the male and gave a bit of a grunt. "Excuse, sir? May I ask as to what you are doing?" The mare tilted her head a little as her eyes fell from him to the box that he seemed to be poking at. It was a strange contraption really and one she had never seen before. Just what on earth would an azrein use with that?

"Hm?" Rameses looked up at the sound of a feminine voice. Lo and behold it was in fact a mare. One of bright color and remarkable style. It had been ages since he had seen an Azrein with a unique main and braids to accompany them. Though her's was in the tail, it certainly provided a sense of independent characteristics. He still had a bit of sandstone brick on his snout, which tickled as it ran down. Rameses carefully wiped it on the ground and in his most regal voice exclaimed the intentions of which she had asked. "Ben Ramses, Ra Nın oğlu, Güneş Kralı, Mısır Firavun'u duyuyorum." (I am Ramses, son of Ra, the Sun King, I am Pharaoh of Egypt.) He spoke, with an obviously foreign accent, quite proudly of this fact before mentioning anything about the strange contraption on the ground. "And this, sevgili (my dear), is a curse upon my life." Rameses spat at it as best he could.

The mare tilted her head a little studying him as he her. He did in fact had a vast amount of hair, but he looked as if that one of his many prides. The tattoo on his shoulder, on closer inspection, was something that her master had studied many years ago. It was an interesting symbol and one that held power it seemed for that would be the only reason for master to study it. Her eyes snapped back upward as the male spoke. She had to attune her ears to his language and after a few moments caught wind of most of it. He was a Pharaoh of the land called Egypt and son of Ra who was named Ramses. Long title for a long maned stallion.
The mare studied the contraption on the ground carefully wondering what on earth it was supposed to do anyway. Her ears flicked as she came forward a little leaning down to sniff the earth. She immediately sneezed causing some of it to go all over her snout. It smelled and tasted foul. The mare immediately began wiping it off on the grass not as elegantly as Ramses of course. Her tail flicked behind her, feathers gently rustling in a rhythmic tune as she attempted to clean herself up. Once done, she raised her head giving a bit of a huff. "Indeed. Why do you bother with it, Pharaoh Ramses?" It was the only honorable title she could think of calling Ramses besides 'Master' if anything. "It seems all the more ludacris to continue this madness of yours." Pheonix tilted her head looking toward him inquisitively and with a hint of compassion.

Rameses looked down at the box. Indeed she was correct at his madness for attempting to construct a pyramid with such old world methods. Though he supposed his friend was trying to make this as authentic as possible, for nothing is made like they used to be. In the sense of quality. He looked back up at the Azrein whose mane was made from feathers rather than hair like most others. It was odd. Though certainly not as strange as a few others he'd seen. And they also appeared to be well taken care of in comparison to a few he's seen. Which made the oddity of her appearance one of a simple pleasure. A minute detail that made all the difference. Her coat was a different situation all together. Despite the beauty she possessed, she seemed to be one of those curious-but-not-too-coordinated types. As well as being the only one he knew of to address him by his title. "It is for my pyramid. My father before me had a temple and his father before him holds the sky. Therefore I am culturally inclined to bestow myself with a landmark of greatness in testament to my name." Abdul spoke of arrogance when Rameses expressed his want for a pyramid. He didn't mind. "Oh, excuse the manners I forget. What is your name being sevgili?"

The mare flicked her ears a little listening to his words. Her eyes looked over the box again as if confused as to what he was really trying to build. "Ahh. A grand structure made of dirt, mud, and stone that housed many of the great leaders. It often took many men to build this sort of thing over many a time." The mare said matter of factly looking from the block back toward the stallion. "It is required that each of the great leaders have one of these massive monuments in their name. Too bad you do not have the necessary equipment in order to obtain such a thing, Pharaoh Ramses." Her nostrils flared as she gave a bit of a sneeze, her top feather hitting her nose again. "My name is Pheonix. I come from no land and I have no master." Her tail flicked behind her a little as she looked back down to the box studying it carefully.

"Ah. Anka Kuşu (Phoenix). A suitable name for such a parlak renkli (brightly colored) one such as yourself." Rameses bowed before her, slightly, in respect for the trading of names. He tried to stifle a laugh when she sneezed. Her feathers were amusing to watch dance upon her head as she spoke. "With no land to come from, you must be lonely..perhaps you would like to accompany me on my trip back to the location of my future pyramid?" Rameses offered with intended kindness. He noticed she was still intrigued with the box, probably wondering how it worked. Sad to say he didn't even know. All he was aware of was that it turned liquid dirt into solid dirt. The science behind it was left to his friend Abdul.

She bowed back to him as quick as she could having been distracted by the box. It was then that she noticed that some of the solution in the thing had dried on her snout. The mare looked up toward the sky as if attempting to listen to what the male was saying. She wasn't trying to be rude but she was indeed on a bit of a breakthrough. "Ahh travel. I am not lonely for I do have a friend that I travel with, but I wouldn't mind another traveling partner. I would like to see where you would put your pyramid." The mare looked back down at the blocks before going back into the male's eyes. "I believe I have found the use of this contraption. It turns the liquid sand into solid sand with the use of the sun. However, it takes time. A REALLY long time unless the sun is hot and you have a lot of these things. I suggest maybe summer time which is approaching soon. Her tail waved behind her a little as she cocked her head looking toward the male. "Does this make sense, Pharaoh Rameses?"
