Freydan was just out for a little exploration. Well, he was until he got completely lost on unfamiliar territory. Wonder who he'll run into?

Freydan glanced around nervously, pawing at the turf and snorting his anxiety. For all his 'familiarity' with the land, this place was completely unfamiliar to him, and he just knew he was probably on someone else's piece of land. The probability of it being an equine he knew (and the only one he knew was Sarai, or at least her name) was so low he didn't even hope for it; it would be nice enough that he didn't get chased away by a disgruntled mare or stallion.
"I knew I should've gone right at that cottonwood tree, not left..."

The white mare with the ruby red hair was out for a trot. She grew restless and wanted a bit of exercise, stretch her legs if you will. Her mane and tail flowed gently behind her as she went at a leisurely pace. Nailiah's mind was in the clouds and for that very reason she didn't notice the gray stallion until she bumped into him."Mercy me!" She whinnied. "I'm terribly sorry...I was ahh..day dreaming.." Nailiah gave a sheepish smile a little embarrassed at herself.

Freydan only half-heard the hoofsteps headed his way, to being run into was rather surprising; he gave a rather undignified whinny and danced back nervously, ears flicking back and forth. Of course, it only took a few seconds to realize it was merely another equine, and he took on an equally sheepishly look with his ears tilted back slightly. "Ah, it's no problem, really! I should have been paying more attention." The stallion took a quick look-over to realize the other was a mare, and with that his nervousness quickly took over, making him shift his weight back and forth between his front legs. "So, um, don't worry about it. Er... what's your name?"

Nailiah looked down blushing a little, ears flicking back before tentatively flicking forward against. Her silver eyes studied his form and his eyes. "Well...if you say it's all right..." She murmured quietly keeping her head down, hair brushing up against her face. Her nostrils widened as she gave a gentle snort and whicker. "My name is Nailiah...What of yours, Sir?" The mare dare raised her head back up a little giving a friendly smile.

Okay horse, breathe. So far so good, he was making polite conversation... well more like introductions since they'd never met and they hadn't started talking about anything else, and she didn't seem like a bad mare at all, and he really needed to stop mentally babbling to himself. Bobbing his head a little, he replied with a slight bow, "It's nice to meet you, uh, Nailiah. My name is Freydan." His front hoofs shifted about, unable to find a comfortable place for them to just stand still.

The mare wasn't doing too terribly at this meeting someone new thing. He seemed gentlemanly enough, and his company wasn't so bad either. Her mane brushed against her face as she tilted her head a little. "Freydan. A strong name. It's a pleasure to meet you.." Nailiah gave a respectful bow, her hair brushing and pooling against the ground a bit. "What brings you here?" It wasn't much of a question, but it was a start.

"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you too, Nailiah," he whickered, still feeling nervous. Well, she wasn't chasing him off, and she was being rather nice, so he had nothing to worry about, right? Right. Calm down, breathe horse. "Er, well, um... I kind of got lost." He looked away lamely, knowing that if horses could blush he'd probably be red all over. That would be horribly embarrassing, for sure, so he was glad to be an Azrein.

She craned her neck a little farther as if to get a better look at him. Tail flicked idly against her rump and haunch taking in his voice.Oooohhh.. Nailiah seemed to understand. Getting lost was definitely no fun. I do that...a lot... The mare whinnied a little as if to give a sheepish laugh. She shook her head, bangs brushing against her face. Where were you trying to go? Her head tilted, silver eyes studying him. He wasn't bad to look at and he seemed quite sweet tempered. "Maybe...maybe I could help you..." Nai was surprised that she said that, but it was the first thing that she thought of. And what could be the harm in helping a fellow?

"Ah, well, I was just exploring a bit... and took a wrong turn or two," he snorted with embarrassment, ducking his head aside momentarily before looking to her again and offering a rueful whicker. "Y-you don't have to help, it's fine! I'll uh, just find my way back eventually." He flicked his ears sheepishly and pawed at the ground, trying to get rid of the nervousness that refused to settle down.

"Finding our way back is part of exploring, is it not?" The mare tilted her head looking toward him. She gave a gentle smile walking forward and nudging her nose against his ear. "Come." Nai said starting to canter forward in the direction he came from. Her tail swished behind her rhythmically, hooves slightly kicking up dirt and grass. The mare hummed a little tune then, ears flicking backward to hear if he was following or not.

Freydan tilted his head, blinking before slowly responding, "Ah, I suppose that's true..." His skin shuddered at the unexpected nudge to his ear, and he stood there dumbstruck for a moment before hurriedly wheeling on his hind legs and breaking into a fast canter to catch up with her. The stallion only stumbled a little from nerves, quickly catching himself and pulling up to match her stride with a small whicker.

Nai's tail flicked against his frame as he came forward, her stride matching his. Next to her, the stallion was slightly larger with average muscle. Her silver eyes ogled him quietly before paying attention to their chosen road. "So tell me," The white mare began. "Do you travel a lot? Do you have a herd? Family maybe?" She glanced toward him a few moments, ears perked and tilted toward him, her head bobbing gently due to her gait."Sorry for the questions...I just want to get to know you. I don't have many friends..." Nailiah whickered gently.

The stallion whickered a little as their strides matched up, glancing at her as well before hurriedly looking away. She wasn't a bad looking mare at all, and his nervousness redoubled on him, almost making him stumble before he managed to push it down. At all of her questions he blinked before whinnying a small laugh. "It's fine, really, I don't mind! Well, I try to get exploring sometimes, but I try to stay in familiar places for the most part... Ah, I don't have a herd or family, really."

Her head perked slightly looking into his eyes. She gave a kind smile, tail flicking behind her nickering gently. "My chosen is about as close to a family as I have...or really remember. I tend to stay close to her unless I'm exploring. I try not to get lost. You do have some friends, don't you?" Nailiah looked down sheepishly then proceeded to look around as they followed the river as it went the other way. "I wonder where this river comes from.." She whickered in thought looking toward him again with the same friendly smile.
