ASPIRATIONS/PERSONALITY/BIO

Aspirations: Aysun wants nothing more at the moment then to look after his brother. In the future though his love of animals will take him down the long, rigorous path to becoming a Rider. What mount he is going to end up with is still up in the air.

Personality: A sweet, cheerful, every happy boy who wants nothing more to look after his brother when they are together. He loves his family dearly, every last one of them, and he wants nothing more then to have a zoo of his own. His Uncle Jacinthus often teases him about it since the man doesn't understand the point of pets, but Aysun loves them dearly.

Bio: One of two sons born between the Shifter Father Chalcedony and the Leaf Tribeswoman Mother Keilana Aysun is lives for the most part with his father though still spends a good amount of time with his mother as well. He doesn't quite understand the odd relationship between the pair of them at the moment, being far to young to really get it, but he still loves them both regardless. He is learning a lot from both of parents and his uncles, gathering a bunch of animal friends, and is otherwise a very happy child.

~ One of two twin boys born to Keilana and Chalcedony, an accident for certain, but ones that are well loved by their various family members. Aysun is a sweet little thing, a bit shy, and tends to cling to his older relatives. In time he will come to spend most of his time with his father in Jauhar while his brother chooses to stay in Tale, for the time being though, while still a tiny newborn, he remains with his mother even if the twins being so near to Jacinthus irks Chal a bit.

~ Aysun is really odd young man, often seen wandering around with an animal army following along after him. He is a sweet sort though rather over protective of his twin, feeling that he needs to keep him safe from the world. He will do anything that needs to be done to keep his 'soft' brother safe from the scary things that are out there in the world. He's seen a lot as far as the war with the Obans has gone, something that has colored his mind, and has his running in circles trying to figure out what sort of weapon he wants to take up when he's older so that he can keep his twin safe from them.

~ Aysun is often seen with his growing group of beasts, often on the move between the various places that his family members live. He is working on training his various creatures, making friends with a some fellow hybrids, and dealing with his various emotions and thoughts on those friends. He's also debating on going on an adventure to other lands, to see what sorts of beasts live their, hoping to tame some of them. On top of that he is eager to get a place of his own so that his beasts aren't a bother to his family members. There is a lot that he wants to do, he just has to get the courage up to do it.

~ Aysun's search for a place of his own has lead him to searching around through the wilds of Tale, seeking out a place that will suit his needs. He wants a place that has a small outcropping of trees to build his home in and a source of fresh water for himself, his beasts, and anyone that visits. That is what he is seeking while spending what time he can with his family and friends, actually finding himself wanting the companionship of other earthlings these days and not just that of his beast friends.

FRIENDS/ACQUAINTANCES/FOES

Good:

~ Chandra: Aysun's Twin, the person he is closest to and loves most! They couldn't be any different then they are but he doesn't mind that, he just has to try harder to drag him away from his books is all! Adventure calls, books can wait!

~ Chalcedony: Aysun's father and a rather powerful man in his eyes. He's someone that a person can look up to, he's also a lot more lenient with Aysun's growing animal army. Aysun loves him very much.

~ Keilana: Aysun's mother, probably stronger then his father or at least far more fierce then Chalcedony is. He loves her dearly though worries at times that she doesn't understand the way his mind works. Few do though.

~ Jacinthus: Uncle on his mother's side, he loves the guy well enough, finds him interesting and strong, but fears that he wants to make Aysun's pets into lunch. At least Takoda will keep that from happening.

~ Takoda: His other uncle, one who is with his Uncle Jacinthus. He's a nice guy, really sweet, and quiet. He's the sort that everyone loves. He guess's that he might be the one who got Chandra addicted to books but isn't certain. He's nice and helps keep Jacin from making Aysun's pets into snack food.

~ Sezarra: A girl he met recently who seems to love animals as much as Aysun does. He had fun chatting with her and hopes to meet her again sometime.

~ Ikkio: An interesting girl, though a bit weird. She's one he is supposed to go on an adventure with one day. She seems to know a lot about strange creatures and is lucky enough to have a radaku! He's a bit envious of that.

Neutral:

~ Sathe: Recalls meeting her when he was little, liked her well enough, and hopes to meet her again sometime.

~ Samoset: He has his moments where he's less annoying and he's far better then his idiot brother. A shame that he tends to say all the right things to rile Aysun up or else they might actually be able to be friends.

~ Kennet: Doesn't really like this one. He wanted nothing more then to hit him when they were both younger. Can't recall all the details of why, just that he did. Not as good as Samoset in his mind but then again they haven't met in a while so maybe he's better then back then? Who knows.

AYSUN'S HOME

~ Aysun, his Father, and Chalcedony's side of the family all live in a large, twisted nest of vines in the top of the trees of the Jauhar forest. Their things are kept in packs woven from the smaller vines that his younger siblings are in charge of collecting as well as in the hallow holes in the trees. It's a big, comfortable, and interesting sort of home, one that never lacks for activity due to the size of his family.

Lance of the Relentless: A pretty weapon accessory he got at the fairgrounds of the tournament. Nothing he can use yet but he thinks its pretty.

Vitality Vial: A pretty green potion good for getting extra HP!

Strengthening Vial: A pretty, dark pink potion that can make a guy stronger!

AYSUN'S FAMILIARS

~ A loud, chittering bug that follows Aysun about like a puppy might. She doesn't seem to realize the danger she is in given that Aysun's Mother and Uncle have eaten bugs like her in the past. Instead of worrying she is just happy to play with Aysun. Kapila is the oldest of Aysun's pets as well as the most independent. If she doesn't like one of his plans she tends to opt out and just stays home leaving it up to the others to go with him.

~ A pretty summer sprite that ended up with the unfortunate name of 'Flower' despite being male. This creature, along with a black winter sprite, were given to the twins as companions by their father Chalcedony. This particular sprite is quite clingy, often seen sitting on Aysun's head. Flower and Pembe don't get along due to the Scorra always trying to eat Flower...

~ A flashy colored male Scorra named Pembe that Aysun lured into his care with offerings of tasty food during the tournament. Yet another pet added to his growing menagerie of strange animal friends! Often seen chasing Flower around seemingly believing that the sprite is food.

~ A now giant Kinfa that was given to Aysun by his uncle Jacin. While the man sees zero reason for keeping pets he also doesn't kill tiny things since they aren't worth the effort, as such he gave Sunshine to Aysun while she was still a baby. Aysun raised her from her tiny, fluffy form until the time when she was big enough to take to the skies with him on her back. She can be an arrogant creature but Aysun loves her dearly never the less.

~ A big, dangerous creature called a Janarim that hails from Oba. This particular beast, referred to as Maw by Aysun, is the one that is seen being ridden around by Aysun a lot. Sunny from time to time also gets rides from him, a sight to behold for certain. Maw looks quite terrifying but he is very well trained and well behaved, something that Aysun feels is important so that Maw will be allowed to stick around.

~ A radaku pup that was give to Aysun by his good friend Teiluj. He's still in the middle of being trained and is quite energetic but Aysun loves the little critter dearly and wants nothing more then to snuggle the pup!

~ A strange beast that was found in Jauhar by Aysun. It turns out that the creature is called a keldari, something that lives in the far off lands Yael! Aysun made friends with the keldari, named him Volos, and is often seen with the beast draped over his shoulders.

~ A purple menk bought for Aysun by his father. The creature never leaves the globe of water and doesn't appear to need food making care for it quite simple.

LEAF TRIBE INFO

Earthlings: Leaf

This race of long, pointy-eared people has developed a chiefdom level society in Tale, Tendaji’s Savanna. The men and women of the Leaf Tribe possess pale, sand-colored skin and large eyes that come in various shades of green. Pink crystals can be found glittering on their shoulders, face, and shoulder blades. Like most Earthlings, the people of the Leaf Tribe stand at about four feet in height and have evolved in such a way as to blend in with their surroundings.

Although Tale is comprised primarily of dirt and sand, strangely twisted, blue, green, and yellow trees can be found here and there, growing abundantly in small clusters. Within these tiny forests, the Leaf Earthlings have made their home.

The Leaf Tribe has created a network of roofed platforms within their trees. The simple homes are protective during the warm, rainy winters and open during the dry, hot summers, allowing what little breeze there is to pass through. Although the tribe hunts on occasion, their main nutrients come from the strange, liquid-filled bulbs found throughout the Savanna.

Life in Tale can be trying and rough. As a result, this race has developed a profoundly deep, unwavering respect for the land on which they live. They are not always accepting of the occasional visitors who make it to their home. Strangers threaten their way of life and the precious resources that maintain their livelihood.

EARTHLINGS: SHIFTERS

The Shifters comprise a small, rudimentary tribe dwelling in the heart of Tendaji’s rainforest. Like other Earthlings, they stand at about four feet, on average. They possess long, rounded ears and their slim bodies are speckled with blue crystals. The length and style of their hair is dependent primarily upon their trade and rank within the tribe.

This race’s most distinguishing trait lies within their skin and eyes. Both features change from light to dark with the rising of the sun, and back to light in the evening, to match the silvery shades of the moon.

Personality-wise, they are across the board, although each individual’s disposition tends to coordinate with whether they are more nocturnal or diurnal. Their temperament, thus, greatly contributes to the form in which they are most commonly seen.

The Shifer Tribe shares Jauhar, their rainforest home, with the Alkidikes. Because of the war-like nature of their opposing female rivals, however, they tend to do what they can to stay out of the way and to remain unseen. They live predominantly in the upper canopy where food can be found in greater abundance, creating strange nests and hammock-like homes from the thousands of thick, dark green vines that twist between the trees. This diverse tribe prefers an elevated position where they can still observe the movements of the sun and moon.
