Maw was laying on his side, snoozing away, with Aysun leaning against him, his eyes closed. It was a rainy day, the sort that just made him want to sleep through it and it would appear as though his pets were of a like mind. Other then his big janarim, who was playing the part of a pillow, with the others around him. Sunshine, his kinfa was on his lap, Flower was on his shoulder and curled up in his hair, with his scorra and his maglardilla on either side of him. Everyone was asleep at the moment... at least until Maw rolled over over on his back, dropping Aysun.

The young man sat up with a gasp, looking around with a startled look on his face, something that roused everyone. Aysun's bright blue eyes looked from side to side for a moment, then he looked back at Maw who was starring up at him from where he was laying and Aysun stuck his tongue out at him, "Brat." He murmured, giving him a nudge before he lifted a hand to scratch at one of his scars, "Mmmm... hmm... well, it seems that everyone is up now, aren't we? Might as well get up."

The big janarim rolled over, offering Aysun help up. The boy wrapped one arm around Sunshine, reaching out with the other hand to take hold of Maw's horn, getting help up to his feet. Everyone followed suit and Aysun set to stretching out, "I wonder if Chandra is around...? What do you guys think, anyone want to look for him?" He got a negative from both Kapila, his maglardilla, and Pembe, his scorra almost instantly. It seemed they weren't interested in going out in the rain. Aysun chuckled, "Alright, you two can stay." He said, petting the pair of them before he glanced at Flower. The sprite was nodding, knowing full well that if they found Chandra that they would find Awen.

"Alright, and we will leave Sunshine with Pembe, I don't want her catching a cold." He set the Kinfa on Pembe's back. The little kinfa gave a chirp before settling down comfortably, her feathers fluffing up, "Good, come on Maw, Flower, let's go look for Chandra!"

It was raining and Chandra didn't mind, in fact he quite liked the rain. It was a good time to settle into a book and wait for the storm to pass. At least if he had any new books to read he would. After the mishap with his sprite Awen the young man had poured over his texts, picked the mind of his uncle to learn as much as he could about healing. In the end it was his uncle his mended Awen's broken wing but he was cautioned against letting her use it too soon. So Awen was perched on his shoulders holding onto a lock of his hair for support. Though things had gotten better between the two....the bracelet for Eira was still a sore subject and thus it had been placed away for the time being so that Awen wouldn't get upset.

"Come on Awen it's time for you to get some rest, I know your tired of clinging to my hair for dear life." Chandra spoke with a softer tone as he lifted a hand to gently scop her up before placing her on his pillow. Turning away even as she protested before grabbing a small hanky and using it to tuck her in.
"No buts, I wanted you at 100 percent sooner rather than later. Sleep now I'll be back and get you another healing rub." The young man stated with a firm nod of his head. Before moving and quietly sneaking out the bracelet and slipping it into his pocket before he exited his room. Only once outside did he risk taking the bracelet out and giving a sigh as he thought longingly about the dancer Eira and how he hoped that her troupe hadn't moved on yet.

Aysun spotted his brother almost straight away and he opened his mouth, about to call out to him... when he saw the strange look on his face again. Giving a sighing sound he looked toward Flower, meeting the Sprite's gaze, then looked back again, "He's making that face again." He murmured to Flower, wondering what in the world was wrong with him. What was he thinking about so hard? What had him looking as though his mind was elsewhere? He was starting to think that he like him being buried in books better then this weird new phase of his.

"Come on, Maw." He said, nudging the janarim to get him to go forward before he climbed up to stand on his back, looking up at Chandra where he was standing, "Hey! Chandra!" He called out, waving his hands over his head, trying to get his attention. All he needed was to get to Chandra, to catch hold of him, shake him, maybe drag him into the rain to wake him up from whatever strange mood he was in. He would fix his brother he thought to himself before he hopped off of Maw's back, catching hold of the closest branch, climbing his way up toward where his brother was, "Chandra!" He called, lunging at him, despite being a bit on the damp side, trying to tackle him.

Maybe the cold of the rain would startle his brother free of... well, whatever it was that was wrong with him? Here was to hoping. As he did that Flower flew by, going to check on Awen, leaving the brothers together save for janarim who was milling about under where Aysun left him.

To say that Chandra was surprised would of been an understatement, he nearly dropped the bracelet that were in his hands and instead got his soaking wet brother tackling him.

"You idiot! " Came his startled shout as he tightly clung to the bracelet to make sure he didn't drop it. Pushing his brother soaking wet body off of him, his own body chilled from the cold he snapped his fingers to allow a small fire smolder on his finger tips. He then dried off what he could on the bracelet first, being very careful not to touch the flame to the bracelet itself.

"Be more careful. You could of broken it." He snapped tempted to spark his brother but leaving it just at his harsh tone. "what is with you anyway? Jumping all over me...we aren't children anymore."

Aysun gave a little squeak of surprise when Chandra actually shoved him away, something he couldn't really recall his brother doing before... at least not successfully. He gave a bit of a chuckle, pushing up to his feet, and shook off like a beast might do after coming in out of the rain. He opened his mouth to say something when his brother set about snapping at him about needing to be more careful and that he could have broken 'it' whatever 'it' was.

Taking a step forward he took a look at the bracelet that he was holding, studying it for a moment, then jerked his head up when his brother continued to snap at him. Aysun took a step back, starring at him with wide eyes before he said, "I was just fooling around like I always do, what is wrong with you lately? Crying over trinkets possibly getting broke, growing that thing on your face, starring off into space all day. You're acting weird, well weirder at least, and I don't really think that I like it all that much."

What was with his brother? It was starting to really bug him, especially with him getting upset over Aysun doing things that he'd done since they were born. Crossing his arms over his chest he said, "You know, just because you suddenly have magic doesn't mean your Uncle Takoda so stop acting like you're his age, Chandra." He said, lifting a hand to scratch it against one of his scars, wondering what happened to his cute brother, the one he'd vowed since he was little that he was going to protect.

Okay so perhaps he had been a bit harsh to his brother, just like he had been so angry with Awen. Looking to Aysun he gave a sigh before giving one last glance at the bracelet before tucking it away into a pocket.

"I wasn't crying over it, I...just ...went through a lot to get that made okay...Awen got hurt because of it." He muttered trying to count to ten and calm himself down. Though it was hard, his brother was so naive at times and childish it frustrated him. Giving his brother a look he stroked the patch of hair he grew on his face wondering what about it was weird.

"There isn't anything weird about growing facial hair, it's a sign of you growing up." He declared with a nod of his head and he had to correct Aysun about many assumptions he had made. "And for your information my magic didn't just appear out of thin air, I worked really hard to get my magic to work." He grumped now that the bracelet was away he seemed more like the grumpy young man he was.

Aysun tilted his head to one side, "Awen got hurt over it? Some stupid bracelet? How? Why?" He asked, sounding concerned over the little Sprite. Flower was a big fan of her, even if she didn't much care for Flower. She was probably bossing him around if anything now that he was going to visit her, but to think that Chandra would let his loyal little sprite get hurt over some bracelet, that seemed rather weird, what was so important about the trinket that he would let her get hurt? Of course he supposed not everyone was obsessed over their animal companions, not everyone got scarred up trying to help them.

"Pft, a sign your growing up? Why are you in such a rush all of a sudden? Planning on taking over as village elder with that thing?" He asked, reacking over to tug on the beard that his brother was growing. He didn't get it, he thought they were sooo itchy! Not to mention that any time he got facial hair longer then a bit of scruff that Sunshine would yank on it! Nothing for him, thanks, but Chandra seemed to like it for some reason. Probably because he didn't have pets that wanted to make a nest out of it.

Distracted by his brother's next comment he gave a laugh, "I've seen magic before, it sure looks like it comes out of the air. It's nothing I understand, way too complicated and probably means sitting around reading all day." He stuck his tongue out at the idea before he said, "Did you see what I got? I got a janarim! And a spear! Man, both are too cool!" He clapped his hands together in a pleased manner, as though such things were far cooler, "I will be able to keep you safe with them from all the scary things out there, don't worry!"

It shouldn't of come to a surprise that Aysun was concerned over Awen's wellfare he was an animal fanatic after all. Still the whole situation was a bit embarrassing and he didn't want to really explain it depth to his brother. Poking a toe at the ground he put a hand back I. The pocket where the bracelet had been placed, rubbing a thumb over the stone slowly.

His face reddened slightly at his embarrassment, "there was a misunderstanding on both parts," he began trying to skip over who the bracelet was for, "Awen thought the bracelet was for her, and she got angry and ran away from home when it turned out otherwise. When I went looking for her a flock of birds had attacked her. I am glad I was able to tap into my magic cause I think she would of died otherwise. Uncle Takoda did most of the serious healing though, all I could manage was stemming the flow of blood and stopping her from leading to death. I owe uncle a lot..." He muttered sounding rather humbled for a moment.

"And you can tease me all you want, I think the beard looks good." He continued his snappy attitude coming back slightly. "Besides its not like I grew it to impress you.." He grumbled partially under his breath. Looking down to where the newest addition to Aysun's horde of creatures was pacing.
"What did mother say when you brought that Oban beast home? I am surprised you still have all your limbs." Chandra scoffed trying to steer the conversation away from himself.

"A misunderstanding?" Aysun mused, starring at his brother as he explained that the bracelet that he was carrying about wasn't meant for Awen, which was what got the pair into trouble in the first place. He nodded, "I see, well good thing you were able to summon the magic you needed. Good that Uncle Takoda was about too, he has some impressive magic after all." Uncle Takoda was definitely the sort one needed to have around when one got all banged up. He knew that for a fact as he'd gone to him to get patched up after dealing with Maw the first time. He'd been all sorts of bloodied up and that wasn't really how he wanted his parents to see him. He was sure that going home injured would have gotten him killed.

"Eh? Yeah, yeah, coolest beard ever." He said in a teasing manner, unable to resist when it came to teasing his twin. It was what he'd done since they were little and it wasn't something he'd stop doing just because Chandra was suddenly acting all grown up. Especially since he was off making bracelets for... hmm... not Awen, meaning that it was meant for someone else? He found himself wondering about that, as well as why he'd bother making a bracelet in the first place. It wasn't meant for a family member, if it was Chandra wouldn't still be carrying it about, still protecting it. So who was t for?

He tilted his head to one side, studying his brother more closely now, especially when he set about muttering about his beard and how it wasn't meant to impress Aysun, "Wait a second..." The way that he was starring off into space, the way he was making presents that Awen was getting jealous over, the beard! Aysun's eyes went wide and his mouth dropped open, "Wait... hey... hahahaha, I see now." He chirped, looking very much like a witu who'd eaten someone's pet kinfa, "Ohhhh, that makes more sense! Chaaaaaaandraaaa's got a girlfriend!" He said in a sing-song voice, laughing a bit, wondering who it was and if she was as big a book worm as his twin was.

"Eh? Oh! The usual, 'You already have enough of those', 'I am going to have a talk with your father about all this nonsense', 'I don't want to kill you but I will', and her favorite 'You're grounded for life'." He gave a bit grin, leaning over the railing to look over it, "It was worth all the trouble though! Isn't he cute? His name is Maw!" He waved a hand at the janarim rapidly, "I love you, Maw! You're the best!" He glanced at Chandra, "The best pet, don't worry, you're still my favorite so no crying! Now, about this girl of yours?"
PostPosted: Mon Feb 16, 2015 8:52 am

The look of alarm on his face was comical in the very least. Though he hadn't exactly been trying to hide it at the same time he didn't want his brother knowing. He was mostly afraid of the teasing, or at a more childish level Aysun wanting to take the girl for his own. As unlikely and irrational the latter idea was Chandra had no intentions of letting Aysun find out who the girl was.

"I do not have a girlfriend." He spat, though he was hoping to win Eira over despite their age differences, and just thinking about her made his entire mody want to become a puddle of goo. A stupid smile, crossed his face for a moment before it was quickly replaced to his natural scowl. "And it's none of your business even if I did. If I ever brought home a girl I'd be more worried about mom interrogating her as well your hordes of animals scaring her away." He snapped grumbling as he did so, before looking down at Aysun's newest addition to his pack.

"That's an Oban beast...I am surprised mom didn't kill it on the spot." He murmured knowing their mother was rather against Oban's even their animals. Not that he could blame her, she had to fight in two wars since their birth and both times it had been against the Obans.

As Aysun pressed about this 'girl' he felt the stupid need to correct him. "She isn't just a 'girl' she is a woman." Chanda stated matter of factly and then instantly regretted saying anything. Growling as he looked away from his brother a faint blush across his face.

Aysun gave a bit of a chuckle, "Mmm, I'm sure. I think you just don't want me to meet her." He said, leaning against the railing he'd been looking over before glancing at his brother, "Now let's see... why wouldn't you want me to meet her? Oh! Maybe it's because you got her knocked up and don't want mom to know?" He asked, giving his twin a toothy grin as he teased him. The idea that his brother might actually have a woman and a child though, it was something that didn't sit well with Aysun to be honest. He wanted to look after his brother, keep him safe, but what if he left with the woman? That wasn't good...

"Eh? Eh? I wouldn't scare her off! My pets are all wonderful and well behave!" He said, crossing his arms over his chest, looking quit displeased with the idea that his brother thought that his pets were going to chase his woman off. As if they were so bad as that! Alright, so Maw wasn't the most friendly of creatures but he was working with him still. Giving a sigh Aysun said, "It's not Maw's fault that he was born in Oba, nor was it his fault he was trained to be a war mount. It's just how he was raised, you'll see, now that he's with me he will be better off. Well, at least better off then where I found him."

Glancing down at Maw he said, "He's actually a good boy and really fun to ride around on. He gets me around pretty quickly from place to place, it's great. You should come for a ride sometime." He told his twin before glancing back over him, "Unless of course your girl... no, sorry, 'woman' won't let you." He wondered what that meant though, for a moment he seemed to be thinking on it before he asked, "So... how old is she if she's a 'woman' and not a 'girl' anyway?"
PostPosted: Sun Feb 22, 2015 8:21 pm

Chandra rolled his eyes at his brothers first comment, after all it should be plenty obvious that he was correct. He did NOT want his brother meeting Eira, for any reason. Of course the reason why Aysun thought he didn't want this had him choking on air. Giving his twin a sharp look borderline on glaring and alarm at the suggestion. He gave his brother a punch on the arm, although the punch wasn't particularly hard it wasn't light hearted either.

"Don't say such stupid things!" Chandra snapped getting rather defensive despite everything. He then sulked on the spot looking as if being compared to some dead beat father was the worst thing in the world. "That's not it..and even if it was I wouldn't hide her away I would do whats proper and she would become my mate and we would raise the child together." Came his muttering sounding a bit bitter about their own upbringing before shifting slightly.

Looking back to "Maw" he stared at the creature a moment, thinking on his brothers words quietly a moment before sighing, he let his brother ramble about him riding his mount but he hardly felt the need to. Why? Perhaps it was just him trying to connect with the idea of wanting to ride an animal. He just didn't see the point, an animal couldn't talk to you, they couldn't live with you forever...and perhaps that was the major thing. They didn't live as long as they did...eventually they would die.

His thoughts turning dark he was glad to have his brother for once poking at him. "Why do you care so much? I met her during the war when we lost Korra. She had the most beautiful.." About to reply with breasts he had to quickly change it so that he didn't sound quite so shallow, "smile."

Aysun couldn't help it as he burst into laughter, finding the look on his twin's face to be so perfect! It looked as though he was actually going to hyperventilate, something that would be more then worth it to see. The moment that Chandra was able to recover he was quick to give Aysun a punch in the arm, something that just made him laugh that much more, "Oh man, Chandra, she's got you so riled up that you are actually fighting back? I have to say, I am impressed! She's toughtening you up." Reaching out he ruffled his hair in a playful and teasing manner, "You're so cute, Chandra, getting all worked up over your girlfriend."

"Hm? Not in, huh? I suppose that I can believe you since seem so worked up over the idea." He really was too cute, wasn't he? This was why he loved Chandra so much, because he was so fun and easy to mess with. It was Aysun's turn to be surprised then when his brother actually claimed that he was ready to marry the woman if he'd actually gotten her with child. Tiling his head to one side he found himself wondering if that meant that his twin was actually off sleeping with the woman... though it wasn't something he wanted to think about too hard. Instead he shook his head, trying to clear that line of thoughts, "Huh, that's... something. Can't say I have met any girls, or guys, I like that much." He had much more important things to do, thanks.

"Eh? Ohhh, so that's when you met her. Some some woman who was a part of the war? A scary warrior type like our mother?" Was that Chandra's type? Someone who could literally sweep him off his feet and carry him around? Sam's face appeared in Aysun's mind and he sudden wrinkled his nose before he demanded, "Chandra, don't tell me that your woman is one of those freaky bug women? I will sit on you if you say yes so you can't go see her again!" He wouldn't let a woman like that take his brother!
PostPosted: Mon Feb 23, 2015 7:55 am

Glad that his brother seemed to believe him but at the same time irritated at being at the short end of the make fun of stick he sighed and ran a hand through his short hair mercilessly. Making quite a mess of his hair and showing his frustration with his sibling. He knew that he would have to tell Aysun something about Eira, else he would never leave him alone with the questions. Or worse go out looking for her, or even worse than that (if that was possible) follow him when he intended to give Eira the gift.

"She is special okay, and no she wasn't a fighter. She was much too pretty to be a fighter.." He lasped realizing that he had no idea what she did but given her appearance there was no way she had been fighting in the war. He recalled her mentioning something about a troupe? Maybe a performer? Jarred out of his thoughts as his brother then demanded to know if she was an alkidike he gave him a pursed expression. It wasn't that he had anything against alkidikes he shared a similer opinion of them though due to their up bringing.

"No she is not. She is from the ice tribe." Chandra defended Eira but making it sound like someone as pretty as she was couldn't possibly be an alkidike.

"Not a fighter, huh? Interesting, feels like we are getting somewhere now." He said, giving a toothy grin. He was slowly but surely starting to learn about this woman that was trying to steal his brother away from him! The more he learned the better, he didn't want just anyone swooping in and taking what was his! It was his job to protect Chandra after all, who would do it if it wasn't him? Certainly not some woman who couldn't fight! Tilting his head to one side he studied his brother for a long moment before he continued, "So if she's too pretty to be a fighter then what is she?" He wanted to know what he was up against.

Giving a thoughtful whistle Aysun seemed to think on that for a moment, "Ice tribe, huh? They are a rather pretty group, aren't they? So much blue." He murmured, then nodded, "At least she's not an Alkidike though, I would have to see you get picked up and carried off by one of those giants." He said, sticking his tongue out at the mere idea of it. It was a bonus, but that didn't put him completely at ease, not when he still had competition. He wondered if this was how his brother felt when he thought that Aysun's pets were going to steal him away from Chandra? The problem being that while Aysun loved Chandra best there was the chance it wasn't the same for his twin, he'd gotten quite angry over the woman not that long ago after all.

"So... then you plan to take the bracelet to your woman then? When are you heading out?" He asked, then perked up, giving his brother a bright smile and offered because he was the most wonderful brother ever, "Want me to give you a ride to meet her? Maw could get you there quick."
