Aysun found himself wondering what his twin might be up to at the moment, wondering if he was at home with his mother at the moment or if he were traveling. Was he possibly training in Yera is Uncle Takoda? He knew it was a good place to check and since he wanted to check that way again to see if a friend of his was still in the area it was a good place to check, right? There were a lot of reasons that he wanted to go to Yera and if even one of those reasons panned out then he would be a happy man... and if not then he'd just go back to what he'd been doing a lot of late, that being seeking out a sort of homestead of his own.
Looking from one side of him, to where Maw was walking, then to the other wide, where Sunny was walking, he gave a smile, "I'm sure that with a bit of luck we will find the place we are looking for." He said before looking ahead to where Sinnika, his radaku, was racing around like a sugar high pup. He was nearly full grown but still had the energy of a child, something he had to admit to being impressed by. Lifting a hand to scratch Volos under the chin, the serpent draped around him, he found himself thinking on his desired homestead... but knew it would take time to find. He needed a good source or fresh water after all with all the beasts he had to support. Not to mention it had to be a place where prey was plentiful so he could make sure everyone was well fed. It was going to take some time to find.
Coming out of his thoughts as he felt a yank on his hair he turned to look at Flower, "Hm?" He looked in the direction Flower was pointing before the sprite went racing off and saw Chandra. He lifted a hand to rub his eyes, as though wondering if he were seeing things due to the heat of Tale, before he hurried after his twin, his various pets following after him... save for Flower and Sinnika who were ahead of him and Volos who was clinging to him. Once he got close enough he called, "Chandra! Found you!" Which was actually as impressive as it sounded given the fact that his twin could have been anywhere.

It had perhaps only been an hour or so since he had walked away from his father. Chandra wasn't entirely sure what he had expected his dad to do, stop him? Wouldn't of that of just made him angry? Possibly violent? Chandra's thoughts were so muddled he didn't even know what he wanted from himself. He had said of lot of hurtful things, out of anger and frustration with many things that had built up over the years. They weren't kids any longer, and yet he was behaving like one. Chandra didn't need it pointed out to him, he knew he was being worse than he ever was when he was a kid.
Being an adult didn't give him an excuse to call his dad out and then lash out at him. It didn't make it right, and yet he wasn't sorry. After all his dad had someone else to look after now. He should just push his thoughts of his dad out of his mind. Looking for a place to rest would be best, somewhere for him to gather his thoughts...he couldn't go home his mother was likely there and he just didn't want to face her right now. Going to his uncles would probably draw more anger out of him and have him lash out at them as well.
Sighing he stopped in his tracks as a tree loomed off to his side. It wasn't the biggest tree but it was big enough. Moving without a thought to himself he threw a punch at the tree and landed squarely on its mark. Chandra swore out loud as pain shot up his arm, he wasn't sure if he had broken some bones in his fingers but the numbness that spread through his limb didn't help things. Tears sprang into the corners of his eyes, he was using the pain as an excuse to allow himself to grieve.
Chandra knew he had done something stupid. He wasn't sorry for his words, but now he was sure that his father must resent him. Chandra said he hadn't cared but it was a lie. Perhaps he cared too much. The young man was now in pain and welcomed it it was a distraction from his thoughts. Continuing his walk, blood had welled from the scratches on his knuckles and dripped slowly down is laxed hand. He had tried to form a fist to determine if he had broken any bones and only caused himself more pain. Good.
Hearing his name startled him, no...it couldn't be? Chandra didn't want to turn around, to face his brother before he had gotten himself under control wasn't something he wanted. Aysun didn't need to worry about him, he swore to protect his brother and he didn't want him to be worrying about him.
Anger. It was something he was used to using to put up walls around his other emotions. Harnessing that one emotion he felt like he could possibly deal with his brother. He stopped walking as he knew he couldn't fake not hearing him, he had shouted that loudly. Chandra waited for his brother to catch up to him but didn't say anything to him. He hadn't quite gotten a handle on his voice yet.

Quickening his step, a bright smile on his face as he saw that Chandra had stopped for him. It meant that he didn't have to run to catch up with him since Aysun was carrying the extra weight that came in the form of Volos. He was glad that his twin didn't try to get away since he was carrying the extra weight and was weighed down a bit. He could only get used to the extra weight by doing exactly what he was doing now, meaning that he had to force himself to keep moving, to keep jogging along, until he'd closed the ground between them. Coming to stand alongside his twin he said, "Phew, thanks for waiting for me." He said, lifting a hand to wipe a bit of sweat from his brow, "I am carrying some extra weight around at the moment." He lifted his hand to scratch the 'extra weight' under the chin, drawing a happy little hiss from the serpent.
Turning to look at his brother he gave him a smile... one that faltered as he really looked him over, "Chandra? What happened? Did you get in a fist fight?" That didn't seem like something his brother would do, he had magic after all, and yet his hand looked as though it had been used to knock out someone much bigger then Chandra. He was out fist fighting with really big, muscular sorts? That didn't seem at all same. Giving a tsking sound he said, "We should see about getting your hand fixed up... I have some bandages and salves we could use." It wasn't something advanced or magical, instead it was the way that Aysun dealt with his own wounds and those his beasts got, but it should help at least a little.
He gave it a moment of thought then asked, "Wait... aren't you all magical? Can you not heal your own wounds?" That couldn't be right, could it? Surely he should be able to do something like that? And yet he was questioning if such a thing were possible, wondering if he'd seen someone heal themselves before but was drawing a blank for the moment, "Don't worry, I will call Maw over so I can get in the saddlebags! After that I can fix you up!"

Chandra gave his brother a glance, noting the extra luggage around his shoulders and seeing that it was Volos. Remembering how the beast had been so clingy with him he could see the creature was getting bigger, and longer which meant he was heavier as well. Seeing his brothers happy face wilt he had to look away. What does he say in this situation? The anger he had been holding onto to help keep himself from crying, he couldn't be mad with Aysun right now. Instead he gave a wry smile as he reached out with his good hand and ruffled his brothers hair.
"Yeah...I am 'magical'...I suppose I could heal myself." He managed his voice sounding a bit hoarse, his fingers did ache something terrible. Watching as his brother called Maw over and he took a step away as the creature approached to allow it room to get closer to Aysun. "Ah...I wish I could say it was that cool. I lost a fight with a tree is all." Chandra managed as he felt a bit dizzy from the numbness that refused to go away. Perhaps he had over done it when he had hit that tree.
About do summon some earth to form a seat like he had seen his uncle do, the ground rose and then collapsed into a pile. Thinking of Takoda only reminded him of his dad. Sighing he went to rub his temples wondering what else he could do.

Aysun tilted his head as Chandra gave his hair a ruffle, instantly worrying about his brother and if he were feeling well. Did he have a fever? He was acting so... nice! Despite the fact that it hadn't been all that long since Aysun's accidental assassination of some of his brother's precious books. He was about to ask him if he wasn't feeling well he was suddenly explaining that he'd been in a fight with a tree... whcih was proof enough for Aysun that something was very wrong. Why would Chandra fight with a tree after all? Unless of course the tree was starting trouble with him or something. A thought that, while funny, didn't suit the situation so he kept it to himself.
"Yeah, don't worry, I will see to it!" He dug around in Maw's packs, getting out a few things that he knew would help out. If he'd punch a tree then that was likely a long of bruising, possible that he'd strained for broken something, so best that he saw to it that his hand was rubbed down in some of the salve that would help numb the wound then he'd wrap it tightly to keep him from moving the hand too much. This plan in mind he made sure to fetch the right clay pot filled with salve, turning to his brother, "Alright! I've got everything if you want to..." He trailed off as he watched Chandra start to summon up an earthen seat only to have it crumble. Well now, that hadn't gone well, the results of his messed up hand, maybe?
"Do you want to sit on your rock pile, on the ground, or on Maw? Either way is good by me, just pick and then give me your hand?"

Chandra allowed his brother to tend to his hand, it was ironic as it seemed that this hand tended to get the brunt of most things. It was already covered in tiny scars from rescuing Arwen and now it was hurt again. Sighing he looked to the pile of dirt that had been an attempt at a chair before glancing at Maw. His face furrowing for a moment before he looked away. "I would rather stand... or does that make it too awkward for you?" He managed as he flinched realizing that his tone had become snappy at the end. Hanging his head he wanted to apologize for his tone it wasn't Aysun's fault he was so angry at the world. Nor was it his fathers. Yet he had taken all his frustrations out on him, why? He had hoped to talk to his dad about things, about relationships and he had become bitter. Bitter that they weren't a 'family' like most. Looking away he didn't want to Aysun to notice his rather conflicted expression. The pain was a dull throb in his hand and he tried to focus on that. And yet...niggling things came to his mind. What did Aysun think of their father? Their family? it was messed up wasn't it? He didn't want to make Aysun upset though and so he bit his lower lip trying to distract himself from his thoughts. "sorry...I....didn't mean to snap at you.. its...just been a bad day." Chandra managed as he unconsciously mimicked his fathers way of rubbing his temple.

Aysun gave a laugh as he shook his head, "I can probably manage just fine standing up." It would be a bit more difficult if only because that meant he'd need to set things down on the ground then bend down to get them as he needed them. He gave a smile as he got his water flask first, pouring it on his brother's hand to rinse it off first, then traded it for the salve, which he set to carefully rubbing into the wound, "I apologize since I am sure this is gonna sting a bit... though as a healer I am sure you're aware of that propery." Once he was done with that he set to wrapping it. "Wow, it's so much easier wrapping your wounds then it is dealing with someone like Sinnika." He said as he easily got Chandra's hand wrapped because he wasn't wiggling about or trying to run off. Once he'd tied the bandage off he said with a clap of his hands, "Alright! Done!" He set to work putting everything away that he'd taken out, tucking it into Maw's pack once more. Stepping closer to him he gave him a kiss on the nose, "Good boy, Maw! Thank you for the help!" He praised him before looking at Chandra once more, "A bad day, huh? I'm sure it had to be something pretty bad if you wanted to punch a tree... unless it started it? Did it get in the way? Maybe teased you about your beard?" He reached out to give said beard a little tug as he said that, giving a grin.

Chandra was spending a large amount of the time looking at the ground, whilst his brother went about treating his hand. He flinched when it was being handled, and tried to focus on that pain even as his brother went about bandaging it up. Chandra gave a mumble of thanks as he looked at his hand and it felt like he was advertising his stupidity. Chandra only listened halfheartedly as his brother began rambling about how trees were starting fights and he only really began to pay attention when his beard was tugged. It seemed to wake him from his isolated thoughts and he tossed his brother a glare and grumpy frown. "Maybe I should get rid of it.." Chandra stated with a sigh, after all he didn't feel very mature at this point. Looking over his hand he had to admit that his brother did a pretty good job at bandaging it. He should give his brother more credit, he did have lots of animals to look after so he must of had lots of practice. "Tell me Aysun...how is it that you..can be so happy all the time?..." He inquired softly wondering just how his brother managed it. After all he couldn't find the energy to care right now.

Aysun gave a little chuckle as his brother commented on getting rid of his beard and he gave a shake of his head, "Naw, you should keep it. It suits you after all, I just like teasing you about it because... well, it's fun." He gave his twin a grin, "Besides, I've decided that after recent events I won't be stealing and hiding your books to ger your attention anymore. As such I need some way of teasing you short of doing what I did when we were younger, which was just to simply tackle and sit on you. That doesn't seem as 'refined' a technique though." As though much of what Aysun did could be considered 'refined' though. Likely too much time with his beasts told him that tackling others was the way to go... though it was also a show of dominance and he really had no need to try to show off in that manner around Chandra since he was the oldest by at least a little bit. "Eh?" How could he be so happy all the time? He blinked slowly a couple times before lifting a hand to pet the keldari that was wrapped around him, his smile faltered for a moment as he said, "Not all the time." In fact there was a dark time in there when he didn't bother going home to either parent, instead losing himself in the wilds of Jauhar and Tale, just him and his 'animal army' until he met someone that dragged him out of his funk. Giving a haf shrug he said,"I just do my best to live in the moment these days, to enjoy the time I have, and spend it with those I care about be it either people or beasts... though more often its the latter since I do better with them. One never knows what might happen next after all."

Chandra was still avoiding looking at his brother, even as Aysun spoke and it didn't really help to explain why he was happy. Live in the moment? How? Perhaps Chandra paid too much attention to the 'present'. Not allowing a chance for the past to become the past and instead of letting things fester in his heart. "Aysun...do you...think..mom..." Chandra started and then trailed off, how was he going to word this exactly? Without dropping too much of the history between their mom and dad. He wasn't sure how much Aysun knew. With his hand bandaged he gave it a small flex and winced again before he started to walk forward again. "Never mind..I am probably thinking too much..."

Aysun glanced toward Chandra, "Do I think mom... what? Sounds like one of those questions that could go in any sort of direction." He said, tilting his head to one side, "Do I think she's intimidating? Do I think she's powerful? Do I think she knows you had a thing for a busty dancer? There are a lot of ways to end that question. Which were you thinking?" He gave a grin, patting his brother on the back, wondering if he might cough up whatever it was he was about to ask before he quieted himself. "Hm?" Curious as to what was going on in his brother's head he was quick to move, falling into step with him again, "You're likely over thinking whatever it is, but that's just what you do. It just means that whatever is on your mind is important, right?" At least that was Aysun's guess, he could be completely wrong.

It was probably his joking manner that irritated him so much, did his brother just never take anything seriously? Although his brother had just fallen into step with him Chandra stopped walking rather abruptly. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck prickle in his anger.
"Don't you ever stop joking?!" Chandra snapped, "Does nothing penetrate that simple mind of yours or are you just letting yourself be blissfully unaware of things going on around you?!" The monk cringed as soon as the words left his mouth, he was lashing out his brother now and it wasn't his fault, using his bandaged hand to rub his temples.
"Never mind, forget it. Maybe its just better if I leave." Chandra muttered as his eyes went to look at the ground below them. He was only making things worse and lashing out at his brother was only making things awkward.

Aysun nearly tripped over his own feet as his brother came to an aburpt halt along side of him, causing him to turn to glance at him, "Huh?" He blinked a couple times before he gave his brother a smile and said, "Naw, it's nothing like that, Chandra. I'm not completely oblivious to everything, and I've had things that have struck me to my very core, to the point where I thought it might very well kill me. I suppose nowadays I just prefer to seek out the brighter, funner things in life. Making jokes, sleeping in the sun, wrestling with Maw, or even stealing things from you to get a rise out of you. Better that then wallowing, you know?" He gave a wave of his hand as though to dismiss the idea that he was a simpled minded, oblivious person. Giving a laugh he said, "Maybe I am just terrible with people? I tend to spend more time with beasts then men, huh?" As his mother announced that he should 'forget it' and that it was better if he left he said, "You really don't have to... but I am not going to sit on you and pin you down." "Wait... Unless that is what you want me to do? Tackle you and force you to have out with me?" He asked, giving him a toothy grin, shifting his posture as though preparing to do just that if his twin was looking for a contest of strength.

Chandra was about to snap at him again but when Aysun expressed his own doubts and awkwardness he went quiet. Perhaps they were more alike than he originally thought. Neither of them were good with people they just expressed each others insecurities in different ways. Chandra was through anger and Aysun with jokes.
The anger just seemed to drain out of him, and he felt exhausted. "I am no better Aysun. I just..did...something terrible and I am not sure if I can undo what I did..." Chandra admitted sounding rather deflated as he spoke. Giving a bit of a wobble he felt like sitting down was the best idea, though there was hardly anywhere to sit.
Instead he went to lean against his brother, going as far as putting his head against his brothers shoulder. "I told dad I never wanted to see him again..."

Aysun gave his brother a long look as he stepped in closer to him, even going so far as to lean into him. It was something so cute that he couldn't really recall his brother doing before... maybe when they were still little but not since then. It was something that had him wrapping an arm around him, hugging him close, before he sat down with his brother next to him. He listened as his brother told him that he'd done something 'terrible that he couldn't undo'.
"What happened, Chandra?" He asked in a curious manner, then blinked as Chandra said that he'd told their father he never wanted to see him again. That was... actually a surprise. He starred for a moment then said, "Surely he doesn't believe that though, right? I mean... surely you didn't mean it either." Right?
He glanced at him, giving him a curious look, "So... what happened? I can't see you saying something like that for no reason, even at your grumpiest."
