She had spent enough time in the tree to know that her wait was fruitless. So instead she climbed down and started to walk again. Rajani didn't like being somewhere other than Jauhar, so she stayed relatively close to the border searching for signs of the man she wanted to see. It took her a few hours of staying out of sight before she saw something familiar ahead of her. A black Janarim. "Maw?" The girl whispered to herself.
If she was seeing that beautiful creature then that meant.."Aysun!" Again she spoke to herself. Rajani looked around to see if there was anyone else around before she left the cover of the small trees and ran toward Maw. They were on the Tale side of the border and it looked like the beast was dragging something behind it, but she was happier than blind man that could finally see. "Aysun!! Maw!!" Rajani called out loud this time, wanting to get their attention before they thought she was attacking. It wouldn't do to have the breath taking Janarim snap at her thinking she was going to hurt his person.

Aysun glanced from side to side, swearing that he heard a voice calling out his name. It was something that had him for a time confused as he and some of beasts heading away from the forests of Jauhar. After a moment he looked down at the Janarim that he was riding on, "You hear that, Maw?" He asked of him in a curious manner, getting a grunt in response as they continued forward. It was the second time that the voice called out to them that he turned his attention to searching for where it was coming from... and spotted Rajani. Lifting a hand up he gave it a wave, "Hey there Rajani!" Giving his janarim a little nudge he caused him to slow down before stopping. Running off without chatting with the girl would be kind of rude and he was sure that Maw wouldn't complain about a little break from the job he was doing. Lifting his fingers to his lips he gave a long, sharp whistle that drew the attention of the beast that was flying over head, causing Sunshine to dive down, landing near to them. Reaching out an arm he stroked her feathered head before he said to his bright orange kinfa, "We are going to take a little break if you want to join us, Sunny."

Knowing that it was really him tears pricked at the back of her eyes. When she saw that he was stopping for her those tears came forward like a dam had been broken. By the time Aysun called his bird down and had given her a pat or two he would be attacked by Rajani. The girl practically leaped at him and wrapped her arms around his middle as she cried. "Aysun!" Hiding her face against him she didn't try to hide the weakness she felt. Trembling she made a weak attempt to shake her head and speak, though what came out would undoubtedly be muffled by his chest and her sobs. "I went an smaw tem. Tey stared over. Aysun! Thy forgod aboud me!" Between each sentence she took a sniffling breath. In her mind she was making perfect sense.

Aysun looked startled, going completely stock still as the girl threw herself at him, half expecting her to have knife in hand... but no, she was instead clinging to him? It was a rather huge change of pace from what he'd heard about her, having been warned by his father to keep a polite distance for the safety of both sides. He blinked a couple times, hands flexing at his sides as though he were trying to figure out what to do with them. After a time he lifted one up to pat her on the head when he realized that she was quite shaken by something. She started to explain, though even then he was confused given that he didn't know a lot about Rajani yet, and the fact that her words seemed slurred. He would have to ask he thought to himself even though he worried that might get her even more worked up. So should he do something else? Say something else? What was the best way to handle a situation like this? After a time he finally decided to say, "They aren't worth your time then if they were stupid enough to forget about someone like you." Giving a humming sound he then asked, "Who are 'they' anyway?" Friends, maybe? A lover? No, maybe not the latter... but someone that was seemingly important to her, right? As he waited for an answer Maw, who was standing there alongside them, leaned in to nuzzle against the girl's hair as though to help comfort her.

She didn't seem to notice that he had patted her on the head since she was too busy sniffling and clinging to him. What she did notice was that he told her no one was worth it if they forgot about her. Rajani gave a weak nod of her head to signal that she'd heard him and turned her head as Maw nuzzled her hair. Bringing her watery eyes to look at the beautiful creature she felt a bit more calm, though not by much since her emotions had come flooding out, and she reached a hand out to rub the beasts nose. Rajani didn't release her hold on Aysun just yet, however. For the time being he was her pillar of strength.
When he asked her who they were she almost flinched. ".... My family... Serin gave Elsif another sister to look after. And it's cruel! He was the one that let the Obans take me! How could Serin do that!?" All at once she felt that fear in her again. Having a brother that left her. Trembling she looked down, not ready to meet Aysun's gaze, and whispered, "I don't want to be left alone again."

Aysun starred for a long moment and his expression was one that was a mix between shock and confused. After a long moment of his brain seeming to juggle around her words he repeated, "Let the Obans take you?" He obviously couldn't seem to wrap his mind around something like that because, were it him, he'd of died to protect Chandra from those people. The idea that a brother would willingly give up their sibling to a tribe that caused such destruction was beyond him. He knew full well that the Obans that she was given to weren't any of the good ones, she wouldn't be as stabby if they were, meaning that made the one called Elsif that much worse in his mind. After shaking his head to try to clear the anger he felt at such an idiot he gave her hair a gentle pet, soothing her as he might Maw when the janarim got riled up, and said, "Well, luckily for you that isn't something you have to worry about now is it? I know we aren't at war with anyone at the moment but I can assure you my father would shield bash a legion of Obans or anyone else to keep them away from you." He gave a chuckle and said, "Heck, he actually infiltrated an Oban camp during the war to help free people he didn't know so I can only guess how the rampage would go with people he cared about." He glanced at Maw and Sunshine before he said, "I'd be right there too... though by comparison even with my pack I'd look pretty weak."

The soothing worked a little, even though she didn't like the physical contact she found that Aysun was more comforting than she first thought. It also helped that Chal had reassured her that he would never do anything to her. "But.." She sniffed and moved her head so that she could finally look up at Aysun. "I'm just a stray. I'll have to go soon.." That fear of being left alone quickly over took her fear of contact and she started to cry all over again, this time tightening her arms around Aysun. "I don't want to be alone again. I'll be good! Dad won't make me go away, will he? I'll be good Aysun!"
Despite her being fiesty most of the time she was just a scared girl on the inside and it was showing. "I'll be a good sister. I promise!" Pleading with him, and getting herself worked up all over again, she tried to hide her face against him again. Rajani practically had a death grip on him now and would need to be pried off.

Aysun made a sound in his throat, trying to figure out the right words again. The first thing to come to mind was to reassure her that stray or not he didn't mind, that his whole pack was made up of those... but he doubted that as an earthling she wouldn't want to be compared to the beasts that he was friends with. He had to recall that not everyone thought the way that he did, meaning he had to word things the right way... especially in this sort of situation where things seemed very volatile. Giving her another pat on the head he said, "I am sure that Dad is fine with you. He'd of never brought you home if he wasn't... besides, I always had a sneaking suspicion he might want more kids but things didn't work out that way." He waved a hand as though to dismiss all the reasons why since that wasn't important now. As she claimed she'd be a 'good sister' he gave a bit of a laugh, "So long as you don't stab me then that is definitely what I'd call being a good sister."

Chal wanted more kids? Rajani thought about that for a moment. She was by no means close to being like his sons, but she could behave like his daughter. It would take her time to understand the dynamic of a family again but Rajani was willing. So she nodded her head. "Ok!" With a sniff she reluctantly let go of Aysun so that she could wipe her nose with the back of her hand. His comment about not stabbing him had her staring up at him.
"I.. I won't. As long as you uhm.. as long as you don't try to.." Rajani trailed off. Turning her head away from him she refused to look him in the eye. For some reason she felt ashamed. "Don't make me pleasure you... or anyone... D-Dad said he likes males, so he won't ever do that to me." Rajani trembled but chanced a look at him. If she was going to be his sister then she wanted him to know. No matter how uncomfortable it made her.

Aysun starred at her for a long moment before he stepped away from her, lifting his hands up to wave them in front of him in a defensive manner, "No, no, that won't happen..." He said, shaking his head in the negative as well. The idea that she thought that he might go after her in such a manner turned his mood a bit sour. Surely she must know that he saw her a sister figure that was just... not right at all, that anyone would want to do that sort of thing with a sister figure. He shook his head again before turning to Maw, scratching him under the chin to distract himself. "Dad wouldn't do anything like that no matter who he likes. Especially if he sees you as one of his kids... even if you were a boy you'd be safe." He told her as he pet Maw, then moved to check the straps that were attached to the saddle, making sure that they remained strong despite the fact that they were dragging a heavy load of wood behind the janarim.

Watching how he reacted to her words made her look back down at the ground. It was uncomfortable to think that he might be judging her in some manner. Maybe thinking she was tainted? Rajani pushed the idea to the back of her mind and looked off to the side. "It frightens me when someone touches me and I don't trust them. I think they are going to do something bad.. so.." She made a gesture that looked like she was stabbing the air.
As Aysun explained about Chalcedony she instantly looked toward him. "I know that! I do. I trust Dad now." She could get a hug from him and not flinch. Even involuntarily. "He said you wouldn't do that either. I believe him I just.. I didn't want you to think I hated you if I react."

Aysun gave a half shrug and said, "You don't have to worry about any of that sort of thing from me. You're acting the part of my sister after all and that isn't something that interests me." He gave a shake of his head at the mere thought of it. That was definitely not for him, thank you very much. Sure he didn't have any one in particular, not since... a thought that he instantly waved off. That wasn't a line of thought that he wanted to go down. Instead he looked at Rajani again, listening as she spoke about his father. At least she trusted him, which was important to Aysun. Especially knowing that his father and brother were having problems of late... he was glad that his father had at least someone to look after until he was able to make up with the stubborn Chandra. "The only way I'd hate you would be if you were to harm one of my babies. That would end badly for you... but you really don't seem the sort." He saw no reason to hate her unless she took a swing or a stab at one of the beasts in his pack. Otherwise there was nothing about her that really bugged him all that much. She was strange, sure, but so was he... and so was everyone else in the world in their own ways.

Hearing him say that she had nothing to worry about made her smile and she hugged him once again, this time a bit more enthusiastically. Rajani wiped the tears from her face and sniffled but she was smiling at least. As he mentioned hurting one of his animals she went wide eyed and shook her head with a gasp. "I wouldn't." Beasts were more comforting to her than people.
Moving closer to Maw she reached out and gently pet his nose. Though she did give a teasing grin to Aysun. "I might try to steal this beautiful beast from you though. He's gorgeous." With both hands she stroked Maw's neck.

Aysun gave a smile, "Good. That is really the only thing that would make me really made. It's my job to take care of them after all." Even if they didn't exactly look like creatures that needed to be protected. Just looking at Maw would show how intimidating the janarim was, and yet Aysun still wanted nothing more then to protect him from anyone that would pick on him. Especially those that would pick on him because he was an Oban beast. There were still those who hated anything from Oba, animals included, which made no sense to Aysun. As she mentioned wanting to steal Maw he gave a laugh, "You could try... but I don't think it would work. They are really loyal after all." He told Rajani as he gave Maw a glance, then looked back again, "We can always go to the border to try to find and tame one of them for you. Younger ones pop up from time to time to try to snag poscuta because they make for easy prey for young janarim that are still learning to hunt for themselves."

Moving closer to Maw she leaned her forehead against him and let her eyes close. A total sense of safety was wrapped around her in that moment. Not just from the Janarim but from Aysun as well. She had a brother that wasn't going to hurt her. As she was told that the Oban beasts were very loyal she smiled and turned her head to look at Aysun. "I know. I once saw a Janarim save a man who had just beaten it. I couldn't understand why at the time but later on.. It made me adore the beast." Of course Rajani hated it's owner. That didn't stop her from sneaking the beast treats from time to time.
The mention of going to the border made her snap her head up and look at Aysun with some fear. Rajani looked pale as she shook her head quickly. "I.. I can't. What if... if.." She fidgeted as she spoke then swallowed hard. Looking away from him she tried to calm herself. Aysun wouldn't let anyone take her, right?
