Fight in the Marketplace! Prompt 2
Solo or RP Format Can be used toward Battle req (or RP req only if done with a friend) Solo word minimum is 500, RP post minimum is 7
The people of Tendaji seem to be settling in - and some in places far from their homeland. The tensions are high, and with the whispers of the Alkidike planning an offensive… well, some have been on edge and ready for a fight. Were the outsiders going to help their people when the time came to fight the extremist Alkidike? Most of the natives to the area had their doubts.
An argument had broken out in the market, verbal at first, but it wasn’t long before it became a physical confrontation.
This prompt can be played from either side: your character can be the instigator, or on the defense.
This battle prompt will be resolved by rolling 1D100. Stage 2 must roll 60-100 for success.
|| Success will result in 50exp in addition to the versatile point || Failure will only allow for the versatile point credit.

Aysun found himself flying backwards, landing hard on his back, where he lay in a bit of a startled and pained manner. What in the name of... Dragging himself up right he looked up toward the women that were standing over him. He looked for a moment almost confused as he starred up at them, his mind seeming as though it were moving too slow for Aysun's own good. What... what was going on? What had happened? Oh... right, the Alkidike... they were in a mood it seemed, not only that but it seemed that he was amongst those that they weren't in the mood for. It seemed that they had all manner of issues with him, the highest things on the list being that he was a Shifter, at least half Shifter, and the fact that he was traveling with a beast from Oba. He was 'dirty Shifter' that was 'probably in league with the Obans' so obviously that meant he needed punched?
Dragging himself to his feet he turned his head to one side, spitting out a mouthful of blood, before he looked up at the giant women, "Are you happy now? Good on you, you can sucker punch a lone man, you're so impressive." He said, finding himself quickly reminded why his people, well his Shifter half at least, didn't like them. Lifting a hand he rubbed it against his jaw for a moment before using his tongue to make sure all his teeth were still in place, "I think I was lulled into a false sense of security about you. Like I got it in my mine your people weren't completely rude with a superior attitude because of some of your mixed blood friends." Of course that seemed to be the wrong thing to say as he got another punch, this time to the midsection, in a manner that knocked the breath from his lungs and dropped him to one knee.
Aysun wrapped his arms around his middle, gasping for a breath he couldn't quite seem to catch, as the woman then gave him a throw that landed him on his back, "We aren't those mixed blood scum like you and like those who would defile Aisha, you little insect! Don't think to compare us to them. We are those who are going to get Jauhar moving in the right direction, a direction that doesn't include those like you skulking about through our forest!" She spat out at Aysun. It was just as he was starting to get back up to his feet once more that she again came at him, lifting a foot to give him a good, hard kick in the midsection that sent himself backwards again. She looked as though she was about to take full advantage of his prone state while he was down when a low, rumbling growl stopped her in her tracks.
Turning his head Aysun saw Maw coming toward them, teeth barred, an angry sound coming from him. It was enough to force back not only the women that were ganging up on Aysun but also those who were just watching it play out. The janarim gave a snarl at him before leaning over Aysun, nuzzling against him. It allowed him to reach up, taking hold of his horn, and the janarim helped Aysun to drag himself to his feet, "Down, Maw." He murmured in a gasping tone, "They will only give you a stomach ache if you eat them." He pulled himself up onto Maw's back, leaning over the janarim. He gave him a little nudge to get him to turn then another to get him to trot forward, out of the marketplace and away from the women that looked as though they were sizing Aysun and Maw up, debating their chances.
Once outside the village Aysun clung to Maw, eyes squeezed shut, giving a hissing sound, "Stupid, bug women... I knew I shouldn't have let my guard down. I know what their like! Just because Sam and Teiluj aren't so bad doesn't mean their 'pure' sisters are worth a damn." He spat out, eyes squeezing shut as he tried to push the pain he was feeling aside. He would get to Chandra, look to him for a quick healing session, and get back on his feet. He'd show them that he wasn't as weak as they hoped he was, that he wouldn't be chased off so easily... though it would have to wait since he wasn't really feeling up to dealing with them right now.
Maw looked back at Aysun, then seemed to speed up his pace, covering ground between the village where they had been going for supplies and where the rest of the 'army' was waiting for them. Once the group was back together they were heading away from Jauhar and back toward home, with Aysun hoping that either Chandra was home and not off chasing his girlfriend around.
