Aysun was standing alongside another sort like himself, talking with the blunette girl about the specific creature that he was looking for. He'd come all the way to Zena to try to find himself a chiavi of his own. He wasn't alone either, he had come this far with Issaly though he'd made sure to leave him at the inn where he would be not only safe but warm. He'd made sure that a fire was started, that he was wrapped up in blankets, and that the beast that could come to Zena with them were with Issaly to keep him company. He wanted him to be happy, safe, and warm after all. Since they were traveling together the safety of the young Shifter was one of his main priorities. He couldn't say how long they were going to stay in Zena but he had a feeling it wouldn't be too long. At least not too much longer after he got what he came for.
Zena was a cold place, dangerous in many ways and not just because of the threat that the Dretch provided. There was the weather, the various beasts, getting lost in the snow, getting snow blinded, getting sun burns caused by the sun light bouncing off the snow. You name it and Zena had it, but he wanted to get his hands on one of the Chiavi. Once he had one then maybe that would be the time for them to leave? Though at the same time he had to admit that it had been fun to curl up in front of a fire with Issaly, the two of them sharing a blanket together. An embarrassing thought that he pushed aside for now know that he had to focus on other things.
The main thing being the girl that was giving him advice on getting a chiavi. The biggest thing that she suggested that he didn't go after a big one. The one that he was talking to warmed him that it wasn't a great idea. What he wanted to do was to find a nest, to get a young chiavi, and to raise it so that it could do whatever job that he had for it. It was basically the same thing that was suggested when one decided that they wanted a kinfa of their own. Save for Aysun who had gotten his from his Uncle Jacin because the man said that she was 'too small to eat' at the time. Now here he was going after another creature that was easier to get as a baby and raise it up, that creature being yet another bird as well.
He'd been thinking on it during his travels and he'd decided that given that he had Sunshine to carry him around he felt that maybe he could teach the chiavi to be a flying mount for Issaly. At least until he was able to help the pretty boy to get one of them for himself. If he thought that he could catch two of them at once he'd try but he knew it was going to be tough enough to get one of them. Until then the point that Issaly had one then he could borrow the one that Aysun caught, once it was big enough that was. If they both had a way to fly then they would be able to get around a lot faster from place to place. At least they could if they had sitters for the various beasts that they both had. At the moment his Aunt and Uncle were babysitting the various beasts for them, with only a handful of them able to come along to the cold lands of Zena.
After a bit more advice from the woman, as well as an idea for where he could go to find some chiavi nests, he was sent on his way. The problems that he saw were the weather, the time, the fact that the nests would likely be up high, and that he didn't want to be alone for too long. Even if the rumors were true and the Dretch had turned their sights on the Alkidike he still felt he had to be careful. He didn't want to get hurt or vanished leaving Issaly all alone after all. He'd be careful instead, make sure to find a next, and then go from there. Just as he was thinking that a screech over head drew his attention as well as that of the woman he was standing with, and then she was pushing him forward to follow the large bird that was flying over head. That was a chiavi... and spotting one meant the hunt was on.

The moment that he'd gotten the nudge from the woman he was already running, though not too fast. One thing he'd learned was that running in the cold weather wasn't a good idea. If anything it was a good way to get yourself into trouble. Instead he would have to take it slowly, carefully, keep his eyes open, and follow after the creature that was flying over head. So long as he continued to follow along after it then he should be able to keep up and figure out where it was heading. It had to be on its way back to its nest and the nest was where there would babies to be caught. That was where he would be going since he didn't really want to fight with the parents per say. If anything he was to slip in, take a chick, and slip out again.
It would be even better if the nest had several chicks in it because that meant that the parents wouldn't really bother to follow him. They would just tend to the babies that were left instead meaning that he could get away safely. With this plan in mind he continued to follow along after the larger chiavi, trying to make sure to keep a good eye on her. Here was to hoping that he or she didn't know that he was following them back to their nest. Here was to hoping that they didn't seem him as a threat since he was so far down compared to the bird itself. That would make things a lot easier going forward.

Aysun wasn't sure how long he was following along after the chiavi but it seemed to finally show that it was a good idea because they were coming to a rocky cliff. Once they reached this cliff the large bird seemed to speed up a bit and soon joined with several others of its kind of different colors. He found himself unable to help but to stare, his mouth going a little agape. Those birds really were beautiful, weren't they? How he wanted to get his hands on one of them to bring back to the inn where Issaly awaited him.
Pressing closer to the cliff he watched as the larger beasts flew continued to fly around, though they did call out to one another from time to time. It made him wonder if they were talking about him or not. Did they know he was here? Did they know that he was up to something? Did they care? He supposed that he wouldn't really know until he actually started to climb his way up to where he was assuming that their nest would be located. Looking up he decided that it was something he was going to have to take slowly, not wanting to risk any of them seeing him too soon. Especially because he'd be rather vulnerable to attacks as he climbed. Not to mention that he didn't want to fight with the birds in any manner. They were beautiful creatures that he wanted to leave them be once he'd gotten a chick for himself.
Taking a deep breath he held it, counted to ten, and started his way up the icy wall. As he went up he was really glad that he had thought ahead and got himself some gloves. This would have been very difficult if he didn't do so. He was pretty sure that his body would end up frozen solid starting with his hands. As he climbed he kept his ears and eyes open, pausing from time to time when he thought that maybe something was happening with the chiavi given the sounds that were being made over head. It was likely that by now they knew that he was present but were they going to hassle and harry him? He glanced up their way and it seemed as though the answer was... no?
Giving a sigh of relief his climb continued. He wanted to get to the top of the cliff, not just because he wanted to see if there were any nests nearby but because he'd feel better once he was no longer climbing to the side of the wall like a giant, silver haired target. The entire climb was stressful, causing his breathing to get a bit ragged. Man, he wished that Sunshine was here with him. He would feel so much better if the big bird was there so that she could catch him if he fell. Not something that he could allow though because he knew that she might attack the chiavi if they were to start anything with Aysun. She loved him too much to let such a thing slide after all.
Coming up over the edge of the cliff caused him to scream in delight... in his head. He didn't make a sound out loud save for a sigh as he flopped on his back in the snow, starring up at the sky, watching the birds as they continued to fly around over head. They didn't seem all that worried about where he was at the moment so did that mean that he was in the wrong place? Sitting up slowly he found himself looking from side to side, a curious look on his face, then gave a humming sound. Was that one of their nests? Excellent! He really hadn't thought that he'd be so lucky as to find himself a nest on his first try!
Hopping to his feet he looked up at the chiavi that were flying over head, then forward, creeping forward in a slow, careful manner toward the nests. Each step that he took make him wonder if one of the birds was going to come down on his head, but they never did. It seemed as though they were allowing him to go about whatever he wanted to do, which was a relief. It meant that he was going to be able to get to the nest, peek in, and if he was lucky take a chick and be on his way! It would be as easy as all of that he thought to himself in a delighted manner, smiling from ear to ear.

As he got to the nest he found himself leaning over it, looking into the large creation, before he gave a sighing sound. Well now, that was a bit of a disappointment he thought to himself. It seemed as though this particular next was empty. There were a few broken shells, though they looked old, and some feathers that seemed even older. Taking a knee he reached out, picking up one of the pretty feathers, "This is nice." Even if it was a bit on the old side it was still a nice, pretty blue. After that he was able to find a nice, deep green one as well, which had him smiling. At least it wasn't a complete waste since he was finding the pretty feathers.
He gave a smile before he tucked the two colorful chiavi feathers away, deciding that he was going to give them to Issaly when he got back. He felt that the feathers would look nice weaved into his long, pretty hair. A thought that caused him to flush just a bit at the thought. Shaking his head he started forward once more, off to find himself another nest to search. The last one had given up a treasure of sorts but it was far, far from what it was that he wanted to get his hands on. He was quick to check to the sky, wanting to see where the sun was hanging, before his search continued. He was racing the sun at the moment as he wanted to avoid being out after dark.

The spot in which Aysun had found the first nest was a flat area that gave way to another thing for him to climb, though this one seemed to have a bit more of a gradient to it. He found himself wondering if maybe the chiavi were the sort of creatures made nests together to make it easier to protect their young against predators. He knew that some creatures did that and it was a smart idea for them to do so. At the same time he found himself a bit worried. It would make things more difficult if that were the case because it meant that there would be more eyes on him as he tried to get his hands on a chiavi chick.
He supposed that he wouldn't know until he found the next nest or two and was able to see how they were set up. If the parents were gathered in force then he found himself wondering if he would even be able to get close to a filled nest without having to fight them. He would rather retreat then have to consider getting in a fight that could possibly injure one of the beautiful chiavi. They were a wonderful beast, one that he loved to watch fly, and not one that he would allow himself to harm. He would change all of his plans of entirely if it came down to it.
The climb up the gradient was more slow going then the first climb, though it was because he was growing more and more cautious the higher that he went. He knew that the birds were aware of him now because it seemed as though the circling of the chiavi was getting tighter over head. He glanced over at the trio of birds before he froze in place, watching the birds as they continued with what they were doing. A moment later one of the birds, one with mostly white feathers tipped in gold, dove down at him. It had its talons out stretched and it gave a rather awful sound that sent a shiver down his spine.
"Eesh, she didn't warn me about that one." He muttered to himself, rolling out of the way and the chiavi's dive brought it down on the spot he'd once been in. He gave a hissing sound, grabbing up some snow, and tossed a ball of it the way of the chiavi. He didn't want to use any weapon he had, didn't want to harm the pretty bird, but if he could annoy it and drive it off then that would be more then worth tossing a few snow balls. He just had to wonder if such a thing would even be a deterrent against something that was used to hanging out in the snow like a chiavi was. Surely they wouldn't even care right? That was basically what happened as well. The bird didn't seemed to be bothered so much by the snow ball, though maybe it had been a touch startled? it did give a rather odd squawk after all as the ball hit before taking to the air.
It wasn't long before the bird was once more circling over head with its two fellow chiavi, all of them making a good amount of noise. He gave a sigh, certain now that if there were any chiavi out there that weren't aware of his presence before that they all knew now. He had done his best to get as far as he could while sneaking but those attempts were now over and he knew that he was going to have to figure out how he was supposed to deal with the birds from here out. He'd have to think on it while continuing to move, certain now that if he stopped moving again that they were going to take more shots at him. He should probably keep his eyes on them as well because if he didn't they might launch a sneak attack. Best that he didn't let them get at his back because he didn't think that he'd survive if they all sank their large talons into his body.
As he didn't want to end up bleeding out in the snow he knew he'd just have to keep moving. Just moments ago he was telling himself that he was going to have to change his plans if they saw him and it now they had. Not only had they seen him but they had also made their first attack against him. He was going to have to be fast from here on out now that he was racing against both the sun and the birds now.

Aysun ducked his way under a small lip on the cliff, hiding himself in the shadows there, hoping that it would distract the chiavi that were over head for at least a little while. While he was under here he should be alright to plan on what his next move was going to be. He knew that he should start climbing higher, to see if there were any other nests up higher that he could take a little baby from. He was hoping against hope that he was going to be able to find a nest that had a lot of babies in it. He wanted to make sure that the parents weren't left without a child after all, that was just cruel. Taking one of many though would be helpful, it meant that there would be less for them to take care of but not so bad that they were left without.
That was the plan at least. Taking in a deep breath he looked around the tiny, almost cave that he was inside of before he looked out again. No luck in there being a nice, full nest in this place he thought to himself, not terribly surprised by that. Given how small the space was he didn't really think there would be a nest here, but it would have been nice. After a moment he started forward, his eyes lifting for a moment to the sky, before he started toward the gradient that he'd been climbing up not that long ago. Time to start the climbing again.

The moment that he was outside and starting his climb again he heard the screeching from over head, alerting him to the fact that the chiavi were watching him again. He seemed to be growing more and more displeased the higher up that he climbed and he felt that meant that he was getting close to what he was looking for. There had to be something up here worth protecting or else they wouldn't be as aggressive when it came to Aysun. A good sign... but it also meant that once he got to the top, once he found the nests, that he was going to have to be really fast about finding himself a chick. He'd need to get in, get the baby, and get out as fast as was possible.
His climb up the mountain was one that was as quick as he could go but without risking working up a threat. He didn't want to risk getting too warm or sweaty or else he'd risk getting sick. He really looked forward to getting back to the inn, to get to kick off all of his snow coated gear, and climbing under a blanket with Issaly and the new little baby that they were going to have to raise. It would be interesting to raising a baby, well baby animal, while he was with someone else. To this point it was something that he'd done on his own since there wasn't anyone that he knew that was as into raising beasts as he was. Not until he met Issaly that was, something that had been good for him on many levels.
Getting to the top of the gradient of the hill felt like a huge triumph, though the moment that he was up there one of the chiavi came diving down at him again. He gave a squeaking sound before he went rushing forward away from the spot the bird was crashing down onto. He turned to look at the one that was attacking, then gave a whistle, "You again?" It was the same chiavi again. This one had to be the alpha of this group... if chiavi had alphas? Either that or it was the most aggressive of the chiavi that were on hand. He found himself wondering if he should avoid not only this bird but maybe the nest that belonged to this one? He wasn't sure if he wanted this aggressive of a chiavi and there was a chance that it was a trait that the baby might carry.
To be fair though he knew that it also had to do with the way that the baby was raised. Maybe having a baby that had the same abilities with the way that this one fought would be a good idea? He would have to think about it. Having a chiavi that was able to protect its rider would be a good idea after all. To be honest he knew that Issaly was a magic user but he didn't know how strong he was. He had a lot of beasts that helped to keep him safe after all... he supposed that he'd have to ask him at a later date. It would be good to know what he was capable of so that he knew if he was the sort that needed protected or not. He'd have to ask in a manner that wouldn't seem insulting though.
Aysun was forced out of his thoughts and forced to dodge again as the angry creature came charging at him, screeching and flapping rapidly, kicking out a bit with those sharp talons that it had on its feet. He turned so that he was facing the creature, watching it closely. Reaching out he caught hold of the edges of his cloak, opening it up like one might do with wings, and set to flapping them at the chiavi while standing up to his full height, "Back! Back!" He said, kicking some snow in the direction of beast. He knew that he wasn't as intimidating since he didn't have talons on his feet but he would do what he could to try to chase it off for at least long enough for him to get his barrings.
Confused and a little annoyed by what Aysun was doing it took to the air again, resuming its circling over head, once more screeching its displeasure at him. It was his chance though, allowing him to look around the area. Upon doing so he spotted a couple of nests which he rushed forward toward. This was his only chance before the angry one returned. Best he got to work.
