Hanging Out With the Animal Army
Aysun was in a good mood today, after having spent a whole afternoon fishing with his twin he was just... well, happy. It was a simple enough thing, hanging out with Chandra, and yet it had brightened everything up for him. Sure, the two of them really had different thoughts about, well, everything, but it didn't mean that they couldn't get along at times. He wanted nothing more then to hang out with him again like that, but that meant prying him away from his books, something that could be pretty difficult at times when it came to Chandra. He would never understand what it was about books that everyone seemed to be so interested in. He should probably go and talk to his Uncle Takoda about that, to try to understand it. He knew full well that it was Takoda that Chandra had gotten his strange ideas from. He wouldn't be surprised if he went to their uncle for help or to borrow books from him, it made him wonder if that meant that he was able to spend more time with Chandra then he did. He didn't want to be jealous of his uncle though, not when he was so sweet and wonderful, someone that he did enjoy spending time with even if they didn't share the same sort of hobbies or habits.
"At least he doesn't look at you guys like you'd look good with some sort of delicious flavoring." Aysun commented, looking over at the animals that he had with him, looking to Kapila, reaching out to pat her on the head, "You especially." His Uncle Jacin had told him on many occasions in the past that he had actually eaten maglardilla in the past, something that made Aysun gag a bit at the time. He understood now that, while Jacin ate basically anything, that he wasn't actually going to eat his pets. Sure, he threatened to from time to time, talking about how tasty Pembe would be, but he wouldn't actually do it. It had taken him some time to figure it out but now that he understood he felt a lot better about hanging out around his Uncle Jacin while his army of pets were about. The guy would still hunt everything out there that ran, swam, and flew, something Aysun understood, but at least his pets were safe from Jacin's hunger.
Leaning to the side he lounged against Pembe, petting a hand against his soft, fancy, pink feathers before he murmured, "I wonder what we should do today." He couldn't really say that he had his heart set on any one particular thing, maybe a walk so that they could possibly seem out new members of the army? There were a few beasts out there that he would love to recruit it he found himself so lucky that he might run across one of them. At the top of that list of creatures he wanted to have was a Radaku, though a Raptrix was a pretty close second. Either way he'd have a really good, apex predator type in his group which at the moment seemed to consist more of animals that others saw as prey. Having a bigger, faster creature on his side meant that the others in the group would be that much better protected, making him want one that much more.
Pushing up to his feet he set to stretching out all over, giving a little groan as he did so, "Alright, so I doubt we will be stumbling across any Raptrix dens given that they are mostly located in Zena from what I gather but perhaps we will get lucky and find ourselves a Radaku nest?" He murmured, half to himself, before he looked at his 'army' as they currently stood, thinking about it for a moment before he said, "Alright, Kapila, Flower, you can come with me, Pembe, Sunshine, I think that the two of you should go back to Father's home so that you will stay safe. Last thing I want is for either of you to get chewed on by an unfriendly beast like those who roam these woods. Kapila is pretty quick when she wants to be, not to mention she has that armored shell, and Flower will stick with me. Can I trust the two of you to head back home promptly?"
Sunshin set to chirping in a happy manner, wings flapping, and Pembe just gave a bored sort of squawking sound. It was the sort of sound that Aysun knew well, it was one that said the bird was only to happy to go back. Pembe was a rather pretty bird, one with rare glittering feathers, making the Scorra a very proud creature. As such he wouldn't help when it came to any sort of situation that might mess up his pretty self. Giving Sunshine a look to make sure that the little bird was sitting on the center of his back before he turned on his heel and started bouncing his up the trees toward where he knew Aysun's extended family to live. Sunshine, perched on his back, seemed a bit put off that it was just her and Pembe, but knew she'd stick with the much bigger bird as they all heading back to safety.
Aysun gave a nod before then turning his attention back to the others in the group, "Alright you two, let's see if we can get lucky and find a Radaku or two. Though... and I know it's a long shot, let's keep an eye out for a Raptrix as well. One never knows, with so many Zenan soldiers present in this area due to the war one or more of them might have brought Raptrix along with them. Wouldn't that be lucky?" He highly doubted that he would be so lucky as to stumble across either species so easily but that didn't mean that he wouldn't be hunting for them. There were a lot of creatures that he wanted to bring into his army but for the time being it was those specific two that he was interested... though he couldn't help but to wonder what sorts of beasts they had in Oba and if there was anyway he might be able to get his hands on one of those somehow to add to his army as well. Not something to focus on right this moment, not when the Obans still presented a threat, but after the war was over, perhaps? Shaking off that thought he moved to lead the way on the great Radaku (and Raptrix) hunt.

A Sick Twin?
"I don't know, it's just so warm under this blanket, and I don't think I want to go anywhere... why can't the animals just come to us, you know? Show up, sign up for our 'animal army' or the like. It would make it a lot easier for us since I don't want to go anywhere." He knew that there were a million things that he could be doing at the moment but it was really nice right here where he was, so warm, so comfortable, and his animals seemed to feel the same way since not a one of them was really in a hurry to get anywhere at the moment. Everyone of them, himself included, seemed to be fine with just hanging out right where they were.
The lot of them were laying out in the thick branch of a tree, with Aysun using Pembe as a pillow, with one hand petting Sunshine who was sitting on his chest. He'd been here for a while, just sort of lazing around, under the blanket his grandmother had given him. He wasn't all that far from where his grand parents, as well as his various aunts and uncles, were gathered at the moment, "Mmm, we should probably see about doing something today, huh?" He said to his pets, getting a bit of a chirp from Sunshine who did little more then fluff up her feathers. She didn't seem to care about the idea of going anywhere and he had to agree. It was cold outside of the blanket, so no thanks, but at least he could think about what it was that he needed to be working on?
He had a lot of plans in mind for when the freak cold ended, fun things from going to bother Chandra about going on an adventure, to going hunting for new animals, or maybe go seek out Sezzara's father to see if he could chat with the guy yet about radaku. All of those were things that he could be doing... but wasn't doing. There was even the incredibly low chance that foreign animals might have been lured here to the forests of Jauhar because of the change in the weather. The cold and snow had been hoping that maybe he'd wake up and find himself lucky enough to spot a Mammu tromping around, one that had somehow wandered as far as Jauhar in a very short amount of time. No luck so far though, which was a shame. He could go for a nice, friendly Mammu as a pet, something he and Chandra could ride around on. It would be fun! Though... would his brother even do that? It might be too fun for poor Chandra and involve putting down his books.
Would he ever be able to talk him into even consider doing anything fun? Hard to say, especially of late as Chandra had to be sick or something. He seemed to be sort of out of it, as though he were day dreaming a lot, every time he went to poke at him to do something. What was wrong with him, looking up at where Kapila was sitting, possibly asleep, he said, "I wonder if Chandra has a cold or something... maybe a fever? Too maybe books that have caused his brain to go to mush? Something surely has to be wrong with him, right? He's acting a bit oddly, even for him." He loved his brother dearly but he was really starting to worry about his mental health of late.
Sitting up quickly, something that caused Sunshine to slide down onto his lap, something that made her squawk in displeasure. Aysun looked down at her and said, "Sorry about that, little Sunny." He said, patting her gently on the head before looking around, "Do you think we should look for Chandra? See what's up with him? If he's still acting all weird or if he's gotten over his... whatever it is, sick? Flu? Maybe it's allergies?" He murmured, something that had Kapila chittering at him, as though to explain exactly what she felt was wrong with Chandra. A shame that he didn't speak maglardilla since he would be more then open to listening to what she thought was wrong with his twin and what Aysun should do about it.
He wondered if he should go chat with his father, as well as mother, see if they knew what was wrong Chandra and how to fix it. He'd check in on his twin first, see if he was alright yet, and if he was still acting in a manner that was crazy even for him then he'd go and seek answers from his parents. Pushing to his feet, with Sunshine in one arm and his blanket in the other he looked up at Kapila and asked, "Will you be coming with us to find Chandra?" The maglardilla looked down at him for a long moment, tail swishing, before she gave a negative chittering sound, and seemed to go back to sleep.
Aysun laughed for a moment before he wrapped the blanket around himself, "Well that answers that, doesn't it? You rest well, Kapila, we will be back later!" He called up to the snoozing insect before walking along with Sunshine in his arms and Pembe following along after him, ever the constant, bright pink shadow. It only took them a short amount to time to find him... but it seemed as though Chandra's illness was just causing him to getting weirder. After a moment of watching him he turned to glance at Pembe, looking confused, "Is he... collecting rocks and sticks?" He asked in a hushed tone, watching the manner in which his twin was rooting around in the snow with the help of his sprite.
He knew right away that he should send Flower over there to talk to Awen, maybe she could help figure out what was wrong with Chandra? A shame his sprite was off playing with Isa... once he caught up with Flower though he would send him to talk to Awen and then he'd go and talk with his parents, there was something wrong with his twin and now he had proof!
